Maryland's strip club the biggest of its kind in the whole vicinity. Cigarette stench and smoke covered the whole place. Gambling tables, prostitutes at the front door. Girls making some snake moves on the stainless steel pipe.
"Beer or vodka?" The slim lady asked.
"Vodka mixed with cocktail and ice" I replied dropping some dollar notes on the counters.
"Mister, it's none of my business but you look, drained man! How about you go home now" The lady asked walking with the bottle of mixed drinks.
I didn't reply to her message. Tonight I just wanna get wasted. Losing two women in one day. Jennifer giving me nasty attitudes and my parents scolding me.
I have missed class for the past three days. I just don't want to get anyone asking me WhatsUp. Not even Jefferson m bestie.
"Hi, handsome" the stripper slid down the pole as I admired her.
"Hey, baby wassup?" I replied taking a huge gulp from my bottle.
"You can have my boobs for fifty dollars, blowjob for a hundred, sex comes with exclusive prices" she replied using a finger to seductively drag my shirt.
"Nice price but I imma pass" I replied stumbling into the crowd.
"Okk people it's time to party!!!" The disc jocker said.
I realized he was doing a great job as the whole crowd cheered. Although he isn't as good as Dj Khalid he got the touch too.
I mixed up in the crowd dancing with a regular lady. Her ass was like that of our high school music mistress. So thick and fleshy, she purposely ground it on me.
The overall please plus the drunken state came to an end as the heavy punch caught landed on my face sending me straight to the ground without further arguments.
"Man, what you think you doing with my fucking wife," he asked without expecting a reply sent the next punch and kicks to me.
I am not a weakling but trying to hold my ground in this drunken state was a wasted effort. All the punches I threw ended aimlessly.
Punches and slaps from different directions descended on me. I could only hear what others were saying.
"Kill this mother fucker!" The man said to one of his gunmen who clicked his gun.
I closed my eyes. Guess I just met my death day. At least I would be free from this torment.
"No! No! Wait, he is my brother!" I could hear a female voice leaning next to me.
"Are you sure bitch?" The man asked again.
"Yes please don't kill him sir" the female voice pleaded on my behalf.
"Leave this dickhead alone. After all, he is nothing but a drunk bastard trying to get laid by some random woman. And for you bitch! Go get in the car! You'd fucking explain what you were doing with that common man" I could hear the man say to his wife
I couldn't hear the remaining part of the story as I passed out right on that spot.

BECKY'S POV

Motherly love is so overrated by my colleagues. They all be talking about making mama proud and every other awkward shit. I mean I got a mom and she hasn't come over to see me since I was nine.
The love you get from your grandmother is far better than the love of a mother. Must say, I love my granny. She is my second God, my comfort zone, and a lifesaver.
My head rested on her laps as we both sat on the couch watching some Netflix movie. Lucifer to be precise.
"Dear, do you think anybody can love you the way lucifer loves Chloe?" Grandma asked reading a book.
"Well if he is the right man mama then I think he could leave be me like that" I replied putting full focus on the movie.
"How do you find the right man?" The old woman asked.
When my grandma asks questions like this either she was going for a point or advice or scolding or all three of them!
"I don't know" I replied.
"Look baby, no one can love you that way unless after marriage" the old woman started.
"This is a movie. In reality, your beloved Lucifer had a problem with his love life" grandma added.
That made some sense but I needed to know what the old woman was pointing at right now.
"So my dear, pick your beast and nurture him. If you can't then it's either you bear with him or choose another beast" the old woman clearly stated standing up despite my head on her laps.
It took me minutes to analyze what she was saying. I know grandma was trying to tell me to forgive Aaron after what he did but I just can't go back!
"Here I got you cookies and a large soda. I didn't prepare anything tonight" grandma walked in with a tray filled with different varieties of cookies and chips.
I sat up at first munching the first piece of cookie but later I laid my head back to my comfort zone.
"But mama, Aaron was having sex with another woman on our bed" I replied sadly hoping to change the woman's point of view.
"Do you know why he was cheating?" Grandma asked again picking a piece of cake from the tray.
"Don't take too much sugar lady unless you want to get menstrual pains.
"You shouldn't take sugar to grandma, you are old" I replied as we both had a good laugh.
She repeated her question and of course, I don't know the reason. Men don't have any reason to cheat on their partners like they just cheat whenever they feel like cheating.
"Forgive Aaron because he is the perfect man for you. You should be happy getting a man that always makes sure you too was satisfied" the old woman replied.
"Mummy, I have forgiven him twice now and he still has eyes in other girls" I cried out.
"What does the Bible say? It says forgive your enemies seven hundred and seventy-seven times and when that number expires you forgive them again"
I sighed. This woman was going hard on me getting back with Aaron which was not working well enough with me.
"Look I got you something to spice up your relationship!" Grandma handed me something.
"Ohh my God! Grandma!"
