Molly sat motionless, her legs in the pool as she stared blankly into the water, comparing the reflection of heavenly bodies. The moon was almost full and the stars shone brightly lit, making her want to wander away from the painful realities and the mistakes she had caused.
Her residence had been a living hell for her to stay alone without getting drunk, she begged Leah and Sam to stay with her even if it would be for one night. As good friends, Sam and Leah decided to make her come over to Sam's house to have a slumber party.
A party Sam and her old friends do have when they get worked out for too much homework in high school. They would sneak alcohol into Sam's room and get themselves drunk, hoping to sleep deep and escape the next day's wrath.
But in this case, no one was allowed to get drunk, especially Molly, who couldn't get herself away from the guilt that she broke up with Melissa in a bad way.
"What are you doing?" Sam joined her.
Her golden hair was held up in a neat ponytail, just as she had always wanted, she never let her hair get messy. Her blue eyes match with the blue pants and bra she wore. Her sexy legs dangling in the blue pool made Molly diverted her look to the legs.
Two bottles of coke were resting on her laps, been supported by her slender hand. She offered Molly one, who gulped it Al like it had a little portion of alcohol.
"Just gawking at the sky through the waters" Molly smiled sadly, for the first time in hours she began to cry "I'm just looking at the universe laugh at me".
Sam giggled, she knew Molly would not stop crying so she didn't bother to pet her, she just dropped her drink and dived into the pool. Letting Molly have another time to grieve, hopefully, she would get over the breakup when another lover comes around.
" Where did you get that Line from?" Leah asked from behind, she seems to be struggling to get her honey-brown hair in place. her spooky Brown eyes seems lite as she walked closer to Molly, also struggling to remove her pants from entering into her ass hole.
Molly sniffed confused "What line?" She asked.
"The line about the Universe laughing at you".
Molly chuckled, she shove back her black and white hair and smiled at her reflection on the water. She knew what she would be about to say might be boring but it also felt good to talk about someone else.
" From Damon" she put stray hairs behind her ears, smiling like she just won a jackpot.
Leah smiled too, she had no idea what was funny but Molly's pink face is making her want to laugh her ass out!
"Is Damon one of your ex?".
Even Sam, that had been swimming for some time jump out of the water, her blue eyes locked with Molly's silver ones before she started at Leah and began to laugh.
" Fuck" she cuss as she said out the pool and sat beside them "I know Damon feels like a name but have you seen someone else with that name?".
As Leah didn't bother to answer, Molly decided to continue her story.
" Bet you watched the vampire dairies?".
"A movie?". Leah tried not to sound stupid as she placed both palms on her mouth and giggles.
The surprise and funny expression on Molly's face could tell she was trying hard not to burst out. She looked deeply into Leah's Brown eyes, she snapped her finger like she was performing a magic trick and want to bring Leah back to reality.
"You're impossible!" She yelled, "The vampire diaries is a series movie, if I'm not mistaken, I have known it since 2011, I watched all seasons till 2017 and now I am rewatching all of it".
The look on Leah's face still shows she had no idea what Molly was talking about, she patted her shoulder and walked away after gulping the rest of Sam's coke.
"It's been a while I saw that movie" Sam now seems interested "What happened to Elena when Damon said that".
"She and Stefan were been drawn together by the travelers, so their last doppelgangers could be killed".
" I kind of remember that now" Sam smiled "Sincerely, I had wished Elena married Stefan, I hate Damon for killing Tyler".
Molly smiled sadly, she moved her attention to the water as she starts to unclip her bra.
"Love doesn't way we expect it to" She sniffed, obviously, she had resumed her crying.
"I kinda like as Damon became human, but you know their love won't be as strong as that much"
That giggle sound funny, Molly removed her bra as she exposed a new tattoo in between her breasts.
"Either sick or not, killed someone or been killed, have limited years to live, when you love, nothing would be able to change it except you." She starred surprisingly at Sam, who had not noticed her new tattoo "Just like how Caroline Felt when Stefan finally died".
Sam stood up as molly followed immediately " He died a hero" She smiled.
"He died to correct the bad things he had done" Molly corrected "Remember poor Bombom".
"Argh!" Sam looks away "Do not remind me of Enzo" she giggles "I wished I was Bonnie so-".
"You would kill Stefan and use your magic to bring Enzo back to life?". The familiar voice suggested from behind.
That sounds like a time bomb!
On such a cold evening, nobody would have thought about the extra company. Sam and Molly turned back at Melissa, looking like she was from another planet, the worst part of it was Leah standing beside her, looking like she just swallowed a bug.
"Hey" Melissa waved awkwardly from her distance.
"Hey" Molly waved back.
This was the moment Melissa had been afraid of, the fear they might regret her or ignore her. Since she started talking well with her father, she knew everyone was bound to make mistakes but it's left to the right person to correct it.
Before she left her apartment, she had made up her mind that even if the girls tried to beat her up or make fun of her, she would swallow her pride and accept it.
'Everything's worth a sacrifice' Her dad told her hours earlier.
The three-starred at Sam's face looked like she had been angry for thousands of years.
"What are you waiting for" Sam yelled "I saw your apologies all over the internet" she picks up the coke bottle, filled it with the pool water, and walked to Melissa "This is for leaving us in the first place".
She emptied the content over her red hair and smiled, even a blind person could tell she seems contented. She walked back to Molly that had her mouth open and closed it for her.
"Make a physical apology". Her arms crossed defensively below her breast.
"If I say I am sorry" Melissa started "It would be a lie".
She walked close to Sam and hugged her, her shaky arms wrapped around the other girl like she wanted to choke her.
"I have been selfish" she walked back to Leah "I have been stupid" then to the elephant in the room, Molly "I have been blinded and I can not blame myself" She moved some steps back "I promise, it will never happen again".
Everywhere became silent, like a pin drop could be noticed. They starred at each other, waiting for the first person to talk or make the move.
The clock was ticking, fingers playing awkwardly, legs moving nervously, different colors of eyes stormy and heartbreaking.
Molly rushed back into Melissa's arm and began to sob, she hugged her like she might be away for the rest of her life, muttering lots of apologies after.
" You have a tattoo" Melissa pushed her back a little to take a good look at it.
Sam looked surprised, she had been with Molly all this while and she never noticed the tattoo!? She felt she must have been a bad friend or she wasn't just interested in her bisexual friend's tempting pink nipples.
"I didn't see that coming" she finally said as she moved closer to look at it.
Leah moved closer to her, definitely freezing and walking like she got a moil on one of her cheek butts.
"What can't you see?" She smiled "They were fucking each other what do you not see coming".
She gasps as she sees the tattoo well for the first time, the feelings she began to have made her want to be in love with a person that would truly love her and not just a college crush.

"Is this what love feels like?" Leah caresses the tattoo to see if it was real.
"Love feels like heaven" Molly smiled at Melissa.
