CHAPTER 22: ETHAN WAS FASCINATED BY HER
Ethan is about to kiss Alyssa on the lips when suddenly Alyssa woke up from sleeping, so his attempt to kiss his brother’s wife did not continue. Ethan’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Alyssa wondered why she was blushing, so she asked him with concern. “What’s wrong? Why do your cheeks seem blushing? Are you allergic to something?”
Ethan felt embarrassed, to tell the truth, so he just rode what Alyssa was saying.
“Y-Yeah, I ate something that doctor forbade for me.” He faked his smile.
“Why are you kneeling before me?” Alyssa asked in astonishment.
“Oh, I tried to wake you up so that you could continue sleeping in your room because it’s getting cold here.” He explained to Alyssa.
“Oh, okay, thank you for waking me up.” Alyssa thanked Ethan.
“By the way, what time is it?” Alyssa asked Ethan.
Ethan looked at his wristwatch and said to Alyssa.
“It’s almost midnight.”
“Oh, no. I need to go to the bedroom, now!” Alyssa said as she stood up on the couch.
“I need to be early tomorrow the school since I have an early class for tomorrow. By the way, thanks for waking me up.” She added as she smiles at him.
She hurriedly walks towards the stairs when she suddenly stopped where she was and turned to Ethan.
“Hmm, aren’t you going to sleep?” Alyssa asked Ethan.
“Oh, yeah,” He said awkwardly.
Alyssa waited for him on the stairs, so Ethan followed Alyssa. Then Alyssa continued to walk upstairs.
When they reached the top, Ethan entered his room first since it was just across the stairs. When he was about to close the door, he suddenly stopped when Alyssa spoke. “Wait,”
He turned around and asked. “What?”
Alyssa smiled at him and said, “Hm, I just want to repeat goodnight and thanks.”
Ethan smiled back at Alyssa and said, “No big deal, goodnight too.”
Then Ethan closed his bedroom door.
Alyssa continued walking until she reached their room. She immediately entered the room with her shoulder drooping because of disappointment. Her husband did not come home.
She walked forward towards the bed and lay in bed until she fell asleep.

Leonard came home quite drunk. He immediately went upstairs. He opened the door of their room, a bit dizzy.
He felt so tired, and his body was then heating up. He quickly took off his clothes until only underwear had left. Leonard continued walking towards the bed and lying down.
Alyssa woke up because she noticed something hot. She turned to it and saw my husband lying beside me while sleeping. I stared at his pretty face. I noticed he seems profusely sweating, so I touched his forehead.
His forehead was burning with heat as I touched it, so I also felt his naked body; it was scorching, so I panic. I quickly got up from the bed and went out of the room to get some lukewarm water.
When I came out of the room, I took a big step on the stairs. I almost ran up the stairs, quickly reach the kitchen.
When I got to the kitchen, I immediately took a basin and filled it with lukewarm water, and I hurried up the stairs.
I finally reached the room, so I entered immediately. Once I was in the room, I put the basin on our small table first. Then I went into the closet and took a towel to wipe on Leonard’s burning body.
I already got a towel, so I hurried out of the closet towards the table I had placed the basin on, and I took it. Then, I approached my sleeping husband to wipe him.
My hands were still a bit trembling with nervousness. I was already standing in front of Leonard, so I sat down beside him and started wiping his body.
After I wiped him, I took a white t-shirt and put it on him. His body heat subsided a bit, so I took a deep breath.
I felt him for a few hours to make sure that his body heat subsided, and when I made sure that he was okay, I went back to sleep.

It was 6:00 in the morning when my cellphone alarmed me. I woke up because of the sound of it.
Even though I was still drowsy, I still forced myself to get out of bed because my class was early.
I immediately took a shower to reduce the drowsiness I felt. Luckily, the water was icy, so my sleepiness had gone.
After I bathed and got dressed, I first approached my sleeping husband and touched his forehead. He is no longer hot, so I am complacent, so I left the room to go to the kitchen.
When I got to the kitchen, Ethan was already there preparing food. He didn’t notice I came, so I spoke up.
“Hmm, what are you cooking?”
He stopped what he was doing and turned to me.
“Oh, it’s just an egg and ham for breakfast.” He said, smiling at me so sweetly.
I approached him to taste what he was cooking. He was holding the plate with ham on it. When I was close to him, I asked him with a puppy eye looked.
“Can I take a bite, please?”
“Of course, just get it.” He told me, still smiling at me.
“Thanks,” I told him, grabbing a piece of ham from the plate he was holding when it slipped into my hand. I quickly catch it when suddenly I was out of balance, so I descended to his sleek body.
Fortunately, he quickly hugged me using his left hand while his right hand held a plate with ham on it he lifted, so it did not throw the food Ethan brought, and because he is strong, we didn’t fall.
“Are you okay?” He asked me with concern.
I slowly lifted my face unto him to nod, but I didn’t know that he was already staring at me, so our eyes meet. He was staring at me, not moving. I also stared into his beautiful eyes.
It seemed to talk and about to say if I could be with him, so I was suddenly nervous that I couldn’t figure it out, but I don’t know why I can’t move even if I want to. It was as if he was bewitching me as he slowly brought his face closer to mine.
‘Alyssa, what are you doing? Why can’t you move? Avoid him.’ I said in my mind. Still, I can’t move, so I close my eyes as his face gets closer and closer to me.
