I left Ken's office straight to his house since he'll be dining with his family tonight. He must go through this file in this flash tonight before tomorrow morning .. that will be the best for him and everyone.
Ken has proven he won't cease making trouble until he ruins us for good. No, I'm never going to allow that to happen.
Ken told me the only person he could trust with this flash, for now, is the lady in his house now, I have to leave for his house.
On my way out of his company, as usual, I saw some girls gawking at me and giggling like these high school girls. I shook my head at their childish behavior and smiled. They all need to grow up. Though I'm handsome and got all the looks a girl needs, I don't have girls for fun the way my friend does. I've only dated a girl and she betrayed me by cheating with our other friend.
When we were kids, Ken, I, Nathan and Lucas used to be friends but when we found out that Becky have been cheating on me with him, at the same time, Ken ex girlfriend, Vivian has been doing the same thing with Nathan. Both Ken and I got mad and we both decide to end our friendship with them since they're nothing but traitors.. Not only that, I also cut off all ties with her. what could I have done? Maybe, she wasn't the right woman for me and I promised myself not to ever fall in love with any other girl again.
I made my way to my car and got it. Ignite the car engine and drove off to Ken's house. I asked one of Ken's guards if they have any idea Chloe is at home and their answer was positive. I ambled fastly towards the main door and knocked. I waited patiently for the door to be opened by Nanny but as soon as it does, a very beautiful lady open the door widely.
I knew right away that she was not Chloe because, when Ken first showed her picture to me, she isn't the woman in that picture.. she must be the friend he was talking about. I wanted to talk to her and asked her about Chloe but smirked when I noticed she was checking me out. She was so engrossed in her world that she couldn't even hear me asking about her friend. But, she snapped out of it.
We had an encounter with her for just a few minutes and I must say, I like her.
She's fierce and won't be allowed to be intimidated by anyone.
When Nanny gave me an idea of what to do before she left, I turned and stared hard at her while she was doing the same. I smirked as a thought came to my mind.
She squealed out in shock as she was not expecting what I did next to her. Guess, she wasn't seeing that coming. I picked her up and placed her on my shoulder and made my way up the stairs.
"Put me down, you idiot!" she said smacking my back with her small little hands. Little did she know, I'm unaffected at all by that.
"Put me down! Put me down, Andrew!".
"I love how my name rolls in your mouth baby". I said to her.
"I'm not your baby, you pervert man and, I'll never be, just put me down!"
I didn't bother to answer her as I walk to the last step but I don't know which way or which room to go to. "Which way?" I asked not bothering to say anything further.
"Put me down, you idiot! Not only did you annoy me but now you're trying to seduce me! Well sorry to disappoint you, I'm not into guys like you and I'm never going to be into guys like you!" she yells again.
"Well, sorry to disappoint you too babe, I don't like girls like you. I don't like girls that run their mouths without controlling them. I like simple girls and not some girls that talk without thinking... Now, which way before I do something you won't like". I threatened.
"The fourth room on your right". She said calmly to my surprise.
"Please Andrew can... can you put me down?". She asked nervously.
What's wrong with her? Just a moment ago, she was fuming and now, she's calm. This woman is so unpredictable. I placed her gently on the floor and we both halt in front of Chloe's room I guess.
"Hey Chloe, are you in there?." She asked her as we both stood in front of her room.
"And, why are you asking if I'm in here or not? Just come in Tiana, when did that start between us?." We heard her voice say.
We both entered her room and I guess, she just got out from the bathroom, her back facing us. She had no idea I'm in there with her friend.
"So, who was ringing the door bell?." She asked and turned slowly to face us but she stopped as her eyes came in contact with mine.
"Erm... Who are you and, what are you doing in my room?."
"Chloe, we need to talk..." I trailed off and take a glance at her friend before continuing. "Privately." I added.
"Erm.. erm... I will. I will give you two some privacy to talk." She said as she tried to walk out.
I ponder why is she so calm all of a sudden. Did I say something that made her shut her mouth up without saying a word anymore? No! I clearly remember, I've never said anything wrong.
"No Tiana, you're staying. You're going nowhere. How can you come in with someone I don't know and tell me you're leaving? Who is he? Who's this man and what is he doing in my room?. " She bombard her with questions plus, in a worried tone.
"Chloe please, calm down. Mrs. Steve knows him and she was the one who let him in. He's your boyfriend's friend. I will just stay in my room when you're done, you can let me know." She explained again and left the room in a hurry before her friend could stop her.
