Darren and Mrs. Ravi, ran over to meet him, Darren tries to sway him down, rather his anger kept skyrocketing, I almost felt pity for the waiter.
With so many pleadings, he finally walks back to his rooms to change, and after a while, walks downstairs donning a new look.
"You look ravishing honey!" His wife danced praises on him and passed on a glass of wine over to him.
The glasses click as I watched on from a far distance, thus didn't know when Darren walks in and sewed his eyes in the same direction.
"They look good! Don't they?". He says gaining my eyes to him, what can I say, it was best to play the innocent foolish daughter-in-law, who would do anything for her parents then reveal my real identity.
I jerked my head and gave him the answer he wishes to hear me speak, "yes! They do look good together". And walked away afterward.
(10 minutes after he gulp the wine, given to him by his wife)
Mr. Smith walks to the podium where the DJ was and dragged the microphone placed next to him.
"Hello everyone and good evening to the past anniversary of the universe". He staggered looming his eyes around, Mr. Ravi rushed over to stop the further humiliation, rather he dragged her off from the podium, and Luckily Darren was quick to action, he held her from falling.
"Mom! Are you okay?" He asked veering his eyes to his intoxicated father whiling his old age in within a short second, I never knew a little drop of a drug, can make an elderly man forget his old age, that why, my teacher always tells us, to stay away from the drug, (evil grain)
The press there, video everything, and left no information behind, Darren figured it was best to call off the anniversary party by kindly asking every one of the guests to leave.
One by one they left, after seeing such a despicable display by Mr. Smith, himself, the founder of one of the top businesses in the whole, how scandalous can this be the following morning.
Darren asked the servants to clear everywhere, as he dragged his dad to his room, still affected by the drugs, unknowingly given to him by his wife.
Now you know why I said, this party will be awesome, I didn't not only make Mr. Smith look like a fool amid everyone at the party, am also yell bent to say that few of them, now tag him to be crazy, but this isn't the last of what I am set to achieve by being the contracted wife to my enemies son.
Afterward, Darren walks into the room, wearing a sad expression on his countenance, he walks past ignoring my presence in the room when suddenly they were a knock on the door, which drew the attention.
"Yes, come in! Julia" he lets out to one of the waiters at the party, this evening.
She pushed the door opened and walked in, holding a glass cup in her hand that was bagged up.
"Mr. Darren, here is the cup, used by Mr. Smith," she says to him.
Immediately I got up from the bed and asked, "why do you need the cup? Is there any problem?" I asked as he veers to me.
"I don't know yet! I feel that whatever happened at the party as a result of something father took! It was either he was drugged or maybe it was a result of his excessive amount of drinking at the part". (Darren explains to me).
