EVANS POV.
“I'm sorry, just a little further.” she added in as I grew a little anxious, while I darted my eyes around the room before throwing all the bags in my hand store onto the floor.
“I told you, it should have been delivered by the people up at the store, then you would not have complained all the way from the garage down to the room.” sh added in, she was obviously gloating, she had done it on purpose, but there was no way I was going to let it all off on purpose, especially when it was a dress she had wanted to wear, or rather should I say she had bought most of the store
But topping it all, I decided to help her out knowing how well the only reason I would be far off on the end of helping her out would only make me lesser of a man,
I passed a suspicious look at her and then back toward the heap of clothes and bags on the floor. She was certainly acting odd, just like she had done at the shop.
“Common now don't pass me that look you said you wanted me to be better, now you're calculating how much I spent in that tiny little hand of yours?.” she asked and a scoff escaped my lips as I walked behind her. She really was acting somewhat odd… way too much even for someone like her.
“Are you ovulating?.” I asked, the question popped out of my head and I blurted it out senselessly, she still placed Alfred into his cot and then stared at me.
“What makes you ask? The sex?., was it too much?.” she asked, although that seemed to be the most reasonable explanation needed, yet I knew she was just about to take it up in the most offensive manner even if I by chance up the news that was not necessary and I was in no way prepared to get all worked up and torn up in her issues like that.. Especially with the whole convincing issue at hand, I just could not… not with them.
“I'm sorry.. You mind telling me and was about just now?.” she asked again, keying in closer and I felt a loud sigh.
“someone told me somewhere… now I don't want you to be mad and… promise me?.” I asked to get all up in my defense mode, she stared at me blankly, failing to make that promise.
“common Evans, just say something out loud already, I don't want to make silly ass promises besides do I look like a monster to you right now? What is with you getting all your lives off in defense?.” she asked again, the way she spoke, this time it was off…ciara bothered me it rather should I say she scared me, seeing how she was acting all coy and unpredictable, I couldn't help it… not even the mere thoughts , it was not helping me.
“please… just fingers crossed that you would not have thought of it negatively or bothered exaggerating.” I pleaded again.
“fingers crossed now speak.” she answered as she raised her hands in the air, her index finger and the other one both crossed over. It had not settled down well with me, she made me seem somewhat bothered, with her reckless manner of speech and her disturbing words.
“I spoke with someone , a few days ago and I got the explanation that if you began acting out it could be blamed on your ovulation, that women do act out in anger, eat a lot, get mood swings when on periods and ovulating so… that bit worked for me a bit.” I finally responded, gave in to my very own fear…s he certainly was not feeling the best of me at the moment.
She was probably getting down other words thought up in her head , it was even harder not to know what went up being that expressionless face of her..
She bursted into laughter out of the blue, creeping up on me
As I had expected all other reactions but had, she held down to her lower abdomen, laughing as hard as she possibly could, it worked me out, she was not so interested in my meanings but it had fared off well in the end.
If a little mistake had been and then it was certified things would have ended up on another rail rather than the white ass conversions we were having a t the moment.
“What makes you say that? Do I look kike I'm insane?.” she asked, of course her questions held no threat but I wondered how I was to explain her sudden change in actions.
“Well, not insane… a little out of place you know… a little out of you, all through I've never really thought of you or saw you as the type that bothered about many other things..
So yeah, I'll say it should be in such good ways, you've just… I mean you were up being stubborn yesterday all because of some bag and this is how things ended.” I added in, sure to have my eyes roam around the direction in which the clothes and stuffs were all stocked up in.
“I just decided to do things a little differently, you know maybe work out a thing or two for you.. Do you like this version of me or not?.”she asked seeming all excited,
I whisked her closer into my grasps as I wrapped my arms beneath her waist.
“ I love it, I love you.. And the price doesn't matter, it is to work hard so you have every last dime I make.. Nothing else matters but you ciara , if getting you the world was to prove it, then I would, I am the man, I work hard you be the woman and spend it all.” I explained to her.
I watched as her face flushed red as she leaned in and placed a light peck on My nose…
The door bell rang, cutting out lovely chat time short.
“flora coming?.” I asked as I raised my hand to meet with her hands. She shook her head then nodded in a negative manner. I walked towards the dash cam knowing I was not expecting any other visitors.
I drew in a long sigh and I turned my gaze to match with hers.
“Who is it?.” she asked curiously.
“It's my mother.”
