I tore my face from the book I was holding to get a glimpse of that asshole.
he's not even paying attention.

"Are you even listening to me".

"Why are you not listening to me, how are we going to plan my best friend's wedding if you are not listening to me", I crossed my hands together waiting for his reply but he stood upcoming me then collected the book from my hand.
"Because I'm in charge".
"I'm going to plan this wedding my way, your job is to carry out every bit of my order, so my first order is you getting me coffee", he ordered me like some little girl.
Can you believe this jerk, how can mia think I and this jerk can work together, there is no way he's in charge of me carrying out his stupid order.
"show me your hands", he raised his hands while looking at me like I was crazy.
"your hands are good and still working, so go make your stupid coffee yourself, I am not a slave for anybody". I said matter of fact.
"since you don't want to make a coffee for me, now I order you to make me one", he said using his Alpha demanding voice on me, no one could resist that voice.
Surprisingly, the voice has no impact on me we looked at each other with wild eyes.
"why isn't it working on you", he demanded, "no one has ever resisted it".
"maybe the moon goddess has finally realized that not everyone should bow than to you so she chose me to be that person, now let's get back to work".
He stood there with his mouth open wanting to say something but decided against it.
But after much hesitation he said.
"Are you sure, you aren't a witch cause that is the only reasonable explanation".
"why would you think that?".

"what about the tasting of wedding cake and appointment for the wedding dresses and suit, choosing of the wedding ring, meals to be served", he spoke expertly.
" you are good with this kind of stuff aren't you?", I questioned.
"Baby, that not the only thing am good at", he said arrogantly but the both of us realized what he said first, my heart fluttered at the endearment.
"Did you just call me baby". I crossed my hand together
"N..o..p...no", he stammered trying to come up with a suitable lie.
"I said that because I'm tired, the both of us have been for almost two hours without taking a break", he said hurriedly and ran out of the door, why did I stand there blushing like an idiot.
A part of me enjoyed how he called me baby, it felt right, maybe it was because we tolerated each other for two hours without fighting and even shared a few jokes.

"Why are you smiling to yourself like a creep". Mia appeared like a ghost startling me almost giving me a heart attacker.
"Hmm...mm...noting..", I said stammering wanting to get out of her current interrogation.
"You sure ?", she said raising her eyebrows at me while I laughed nervously.
"Of course gat to go, see you later", I ran into my room, closing the door behind me, I let out a sigh I was holding.
Where did she come from
I took the book where we have written all the wedding plans and climbed on my bed to take a nap and dream about a setting someone that I can't seem to get out of my mind this past few days for some unknown reason.

I let out a breath that I was holding, I felt like I ran a mile.
"What got you all flustered", a voice asked giving me an Alpha a mini heart attack.
"Fuck, what are you doing here ? how the hell did you get in here? ".
Johnathon stood in front of my desk with a weird smile on his face.
"To answer your questions, first I came to drop some documents I already signed concerning the pack, and to answer your second question I came through the door ", he said with a smirk on his face.
"But you haven't answered mine, what got you all flustered", he repeated with crossed arm, but instead of answering him, I ignored him walking towards my desk to sit down.
"OK..since you don't want to tell me, I leave you to yourself", he walked out of my office closing the door behind him.

When she was talking about the weddings earlier, I couldn't help myself admire her and her body even in the smallest things.
The way she concentrate on the work at hand to get a job done, how she pouted her mouth and close her eyes while she was stressed, running her hand through her hair.
I noticed all this little, don't ask me why because I don't even know the answer myself.
I let out a breath trying to focus and not think about a brown skin girl.
