Alicia's pov
Tristan flared and jerked away from me falling on the ground - the other side.
Xenia ran to me while I covered up my exposed v.
"Who is that mommy?" She asked running from me to the other side of the bed.
My heart kept pounding like it would leave my chest.
"Who are you?" Xenia asked Tristan.
"I'm one of your father's guards, huh..." He replied gleefully.
"What are you doing here?" Xenia asked with her hands on her tiny waist.
Look at this little girl...huh..
Why does she have to be so clever?
"Your mom was tired so I helped bring her to her room" He replied and I gulped.
Xenia didn't say anything else but run back to me.
"He's scary mom...tell him to go" She whispered fiddling with the button on my dress.
Tristan got up and thank goodness he had put his d---k back into his pants.
He winked at me before leaving the room.
"Is he your friend?" She asked and I sighed.
"No...I don't even know who he is. But...you have to promise me you won't tell anyone about what you saw".
"Why mom?..." She asked and I chuckled.
"I'll go to the kitchen now and get you an ice cream...alright?".
She leaped.
"I won't tell anyone" She beamed and I nodded.
Dawn's pov
I opened my eyes slowly and realized everything appeared blur.
I rubbed my eyes for a while and pulled myself to sit up on the bed.
I felt better and stronger than last night.
Not after the insane senerio that took place.
I remembered to pray a short prayer and I also begged God to console my mother with the fact that I was okay cause am sure she'd get more devastated day after day.
I shifted to the edge of the bed and climbed down wearing my flat shoes on the floor.
Where's the king?
I looked around the room and my eyes caught the bold mirror attached to the wall.
I moved over to where it was and stood before it. I turned my face to examine the cheek King Lee had slapped.
I cringed on seeing scars from the rings on his fingers.
Oh heavens!
The scars were deep and red since I had such fair skin.
Was this the reason why he told me sorry? I can't believe he did this to my face...
Well, I deserve it.
The queen warned me not to come back but I foolishly did.
I wanted to escape from here forever.
The freedom that I need in order to be happy again.
But I don't think I'd be happy if I live. What about the king...I love him and being away from him would be like punishment.
This means I'm giving up my attempts to be free just for King Lee.
I won't try to run away again.
Whatever fate has installed for me...I'm ready for it.
I walked out of the King's chambers and I decided to head for his office.
All I need right now is to see his face.
I knocked on the door hearing voices inside. I looked through the keyhole to see what was going on.
There was a man on his knees and King Lee was leaning by the table. His personal guards were there too.
"...I...I didnt mean to, your highness. Please have mercy" The man on the floor wavered.
King Lee sighed and folded his arms.
"You raped a girl - I forgive that.
You kept going on even till she's weak and bruised - I can overlook that too.
Then you came back again and repeated your actions. Didn't you think about the consequences?...And now that girl can't stop having nightmares!" King Lee rasped.
"I'm sorry, your majesty" The man cried.
The king looked around and chuckled.
"Who hired you to rape her?" He asked backing them.
What?
He tapped his foot waiting for an answer.
"No one sent me, your high---"
The King turned Immediately and threw a loud punch at the man's face making him stagger backwards.
My heart skipped cause he took me by surprise. Such wrath...
He brought out a knife strapped to his belt and the man on the floor cried out.
"Its the girl's uncle! He paid me and I had no choice but to do it cause I needed the money...please your highness!" The man screamed in fright.
I stepped away from the door speechless.
I can't believe I'm married to that king.
What if he kills me one day - just when am not expecting it.
I'm married to this unpredictable fellow.
Oh mercies!
I moved away from the premises before I'll be seen by someone eavesdropping o the king.
It won't be funny cause I'm always getting into trouble.
I've decided not to heal the scar on my face so King Lee won't be suspicious.
He'd definitely know that I have healing abilities...
I kept walking through the hallway that led to my room.
I needed to take a bath.
