The Human Mate: Marked By The Alpha Chapter 11

I was now sitting on my couch, dizzy, looking out into the darkness while Ludwig was on his way to buy me something to eat. I briefly thought of running away, but where should I go? There was no longer a home for me and everything just seemed strange to me. When someone knocked I called out "Come in" without emotion, but when I saw Alec my eyes widened in shock. "Hey," he whispered, quietly closing the door behind him as I got up to angrily walk towards him. What was he imagining? "OUT! Now!" I yelled at him, but the black-haired man made no move even a millimeter. "Didn't you hear me?!", I got even more angry and stood behind him to open the door for him, but I didn't get that far, because he grabbed my waist and pressed me against the wall. "I'm not a dog, Lou! You can reason with me," he growled softly and got so close to me that no leaf could have fit between us, which choked me. He looked me up and down until I pushed him away in shock and gasped. "Then I'll tell you sensibly! Go, please!" I wanted to be strong, not to show fear, but at that moment my whole body was shaking. How dare he touch me like that? "What's going on here?" Ludwig suddenly asked, looking shocked back and forth between me and Alec. "He was about to leave!" I hissed angrily, holding back tears. "Is that what I wanted?" Alec said provocatively, not taking his eyes off me. Wasn't he actually calm and understanding? What was wrong with him all of a sudden? "Yes, I think you wanted that!" Ludwig then said louder and held the door open for him. He didn't pay any attention to the angel, but I was glad when he left the hut with slow steps. Ludwig immediately closed it behind him and I burst into tears again, but this time at least someone was there for me. The angel held me tight and I felt safe for the first time since Chace had been gone, albeit briefly. "I can't do it, Ludwig," I sobbed and clung to him, crying. "Yes, we can do it and I promise you that the pain will become more bearable." We stood there for a moment until he slowly broke away from me, looked me in the eyes for a moment and then unpacked the food on the table. "I have fries, chicken and waffles," he explained, putting everything in order. I hesitantly sat down at the new table Jayden got me and wiped my tears to grab a waffle and wedge it into my mouth. "Would you like to come to my place? I have enough space in the house and you would be-" " No," I answered immediately. "I'm not leaving here." He nodded to me and sat in the chair to watch me eat. I ignored his stare and focused on the waffle as a thousand thoughts raced through my head again. The most painful was whether Chace had already met the blonde and then came the utter self devastation of thinking about her tag and sex between them. I just dropped the waffle, got up and walked past Ludwig into the bedroom to fall back on the bed. I would never leave here. In this hut lay his scent, memories and I could even hear him talking softly at times. I was probably going insane, but since I didn't have anyone anyway, my insanity wouldn't bother anyone. I wouldn't walk away because I'd rather live in a memory than not at all. "Lou?" I heard Ludwig knock, to whom I was grateful on the one hand, but on the other hand he overwhelmed me. I just wanted something other than pain to take hold of me. I wanted Alec and the blonde gone, and most of all I wanted Chace back with me. Ludwig didn't even wait for my reaction, but simply came into the dark room and sat down on the edge of the bed behind me to stroke my back soothingly. "I'm sorry you have to go through all this, but I'll be there," he said quietly and I closed my eyes because I just wanted to sleep, preferably forever. Samira was still holding my hand and it was really all too much for me. Why was she so pushy, even though I needed my rest? Why did it all have to be so complicated? I used all my self-control and pulled my hand away from her, only to avoid her eyes afterwards. "I need time, please accept that," I explained to her, but she made no move to leave, on the contrary, she came even closer to me and hugged me as if she was looking for love. I didn't hug her back, no matter how hard it was, and then when I heard footsteps behind the trailer, I quickly broke the hug. "You really don't want to-" Ethan came around the corner and looked surprised at Samira, who gave him a polite smile. "You must be Samira then," he stated and held out his hand, which she accepted politely. "Yes, I am." "Chace has said so much about you, I'm Ethan by the way." I looked at him in bewilderment, whereupon he just winked and was visibly amused. "Aha, what did he say?" she then asked and fixed me with her beautiful eyes. "Only good, really." "Ethan, didn't you want to go to Wialtrama?" I asked him, crossing my arms to show him how unwanted he was right now. "Yeah, but I wanted to make sure you really didn't want to come with me." I shook my head, but the blonde suddenly took my hand again and moved close to my side and turned to Ethan. "We'd love to come with you," she smiled, stroking her hand over mine, causing a warm feeling in my stomach. My god I was in deep shit. "I like her," Ethan said to me, and I was just pulled along by Samira into this vortex that no longer allowed me to fight the desire. The three of us walked down the street, but I just looked at the dark sky and didn't listen to them at all, my head wasn't clear enough for that. Inside I was begging for Samira to be as close to me as possible, but there was still that one organ beating for someone else, but the beating was getting weaker and more desperate. When I arrived at the Wialtrama, I turned back to the two, who both looked at me laughing and pointed to my feet. I also looked down and noticed that I was only wearing my slippers because of all the confusion and suddenly I had to laugh from the bottom of my heart for the first time since I had turned my back on my hut. It felt good, even very good, and when I felt Samira happily nestling against me, my wolf purred loudly, which prompted me to take her hand even tighter in mine. I ran with them through the black double doors and just let it be. There was no point in struggling any longer, and Ethan was right. Lou would definitely find her happiness with Alec and eventually everything would be fine again. "I'll get us drinks, you're looking for a table. Jayden should be here soon, too," Ethan said and headed for the bar with quick steps while we ran to one of the tables holding hands and she sat down across from me. The music playing was good, the lights were unchanged and yet everything was different that evening because in front of me was the woman who was destined to make me completely happy. I eyed her, unobtrusively. Her blond hair glistening in the light and her tight red sweater, which just looked great on her. When I looked at her face, I immediately noticed that she was looking at me the same way and when I had to smile at that, her eyes sparkled. "You have such nice dimples," she breathed, coming up with one of her hands to gently caress my face. The trail she traced with her fingertips warmed everything inside me and my heart leapt with joy. I couldn't control the next thing that happened, no matter how hard I tried. I carefully leaned over to her and gently placed my lips on hers. I wanted to know. Knowing what it's like to touch her, kiss her and it was breathtaking and unlike anything in the world. It just went quiet around me and I could only feel her breath while her scent burned into me as if it had become a part of me.
