The demon exceeded Tide expectation as it once again materialized at the center of the sentinels and with quick haste, it dug one of its hands through the head of the sentinel with a sword at the same time the sentinel was lit aflame.
The sentinel holding a staff, waved it entrapping the demon in coral reef. The sentinel with a hammer swung as soon as the demon was captured and with a resounding impact the demon was struck as its mouth opened for a phlegm of blood to be spit out.
The effect of the hammer took effect quickly as the demon was constantly vibrating, the sentinel with an arrow already gained enough distance as three arrows were formed on its bow with it quickly let go.
The demon’s horns shined to warn it of the incoming danger but the demon for the moment is unable to take any action. Instead its focus was on stopping its body’s constant vibration which led the three arrows to meet their target.
Before the arrows met its target, Tide made the water around the demon feel like a solid brick and soon as the three arrows hit the demon it took effect immediately as the might of combined three tidal wave hit the demon, but unlike before it was sent flying the brick like water around made sure it had no way to diffuse the force of the water.
The demon could hardly refocus as it felt itself being tinned around, a flash of anger flashed across the demon’s eyes as its four eyes began glowing as the water around began boiling and with a roar a sea of fire appeared under the water.
Tide felt the opposite element fighting his control and caught off guard by that, he let go of his control as the demon took the chance to disappear once again.
This continues for a while as the demon kept disappearing and each time it appears it’s former wound will be all healed and it makes sure to take with it one sentinel each time. Now the demon can be seen with its hand through the chest of the sentinel holding a bow.
The crown on Tide’s head has been looking more solid each time a sentinel is killed and now with the last sentinel dead, its weapon flew into the crown as it solidified fully. The demon frowned as it felt the shift around the tide who now stood up as the throne he sat broke apart before reforming into a deep dark blue armor around his body.
At the same time behind him, six arms made of water with three one each side appeared behind him, the arms each holding the former weapon of the sentinels. The demon opened it’s hand as its sword once again appeared in its hands.
At the same time, it was staring at the hammer, in its mind that hammer was a problem and he had a solution to that to which dark colored water began seeping out from his scales and covering his whole body soon the water solidified into a dark icy armor.
No words were said between the two, as Tide squatted a bit and the water under him left like a solid ground, with a boom he disappeared from his position, the demon following through had a jet of fire under its feet as it also disappeared.
With a loud boom and shaking that affected the underlings’ fight who quickly had to find cover as the sea was pushing them away. Back to Tide and Aska, the two met halfway with each of their weapons clashing.
The two stared at each other eyes when Tide suddenly divided into the three as they each went for the demon from different ways, the demon confused by the illusion floated there when all of sudden its horns flashed but it was too late as one of Tide’s hand holding the hammer struck him.
To Tide surprise the demon wasn’t deterred as it swung back with its sword as Tide who waved his staff as seaweed appeared holding back the demon swinging arms. Tide soon understood why the demon was unbothered as soon as the hammer met the demon armor, it liquefied upon impact and became sticky.
The hammer took effect but unlike before it caused no damage as the vibration can be seen causing a ripple on the black goo.
The demon with its hand caught opened its mouth where a wave of fire left from it. Tide danger senses tingled, he knew the flames was no ordinary flame once he saw how it was unaffected by all the water around it and now he was closer it felt even more dangerous.
Soon one of his hands, holding the sword, pointed it at the demon as a small cyclone formed around the sword which Tide used to distance himself from the wave of fire.
The demon broke through the sea weed and went immediately after Tide who freed up one of his hands as he began shooting arrows at the demon who did well to dodge with the help of the warning from its horn. Tide, seeing that began exploding the arrows once it got close to the demon.
The demon picked up on Tide tactics so it brought its sword forward and began spinning like a drilling piercing through the crashing waves and quickly closed in the distance between the two of them.
As soon as the demon got close, it did something Tide thought was weird as it put its sword to the side, in the astonished eyes of Tide two of his elemental hands were cut off and the area was lit aflame with burning fire that was preventing Tide from recovering the arm.
Tide couldn’t focus on the arms as the demon pressed on with its advantage as both were throwing out blows at each other. The whole surrounding of the underwater looked damaged but the two combatants paid it no mind.
Tide can be seen thrown and impact a sea wall, when the demon once again tried to do the same thing of putting his sword to the side, with no hesitation Tide used the power of the shield creating multiple illusions of himself and with a loud explosion the wall behind Tide was sliced open from different sides.
The demon looked confused as i didn’t cut its target but its horn flashed when all of a sudden Tide was close to him with his hammer ready to fall on him, like before the demon was confident so it struck back with no regard to its defenses.
The demon sword sliced through Tide only to it to not be real as the real Tide was behind the fake one with his ice trident which struck immediately at the opening, the black ice armor that liquified itself expecting the hammer was surprised as the trident struck freezing it over only for the hammer to follow through as it broke through the frozen fluid and fell on the demon body sending it flying.
Tide immediately pulled back on his domain field as he knew the fight was going over the limit of his field so with no hesitation he used the sword and it’s ability as a propellent heading for the demon.
Once he got close to the stuck demon, Tide struck out with his sword aiming for the demon’s head but at the last send a small explosion of flame left the demon body changing its course so Tide blade lost it’s target but the dem’s head wasn’t tide goal instead he went for his main goal which was the horn and with quickness one of the demon horn was lost.
The demon regained mobility right after that as it struck Tide chest with its tail, Tide was protected by his armor so all that did was send him flying.
The demon let go of its sword as it pointed with its finger at Tide, when all of a sudden Tide was turned into spinning will with trails of flames around it. Tide found himself disoriented and the cause was the flames burning at his stumped elemental hands.
The hands were a simple elemental construct, they were part of him even though it had no pain sensitivity but they were part of him and to call them off means calling all the other arms off all together.
Tide was still taken back by his new situation when his spinning form stopped all of sudden only to be met with the sight of the demon with a grin on its face and itäs sword held up high ready to fall on him.
Tide wanted to move but the flames sprouting from his hands made him a stagnant target for the demon, Tide thinking quickly as his eyes glowed blue when the two stumped arms became frozen with burning flames inside of it.
Using his hand holding the shield, he brought it forward not in hope to protect him as that isn’t it’s job, the demon eyes met the shield of reflection only for it to become confused as somehow their position was changed instead it was the one about to be cleaved in two with a sword.
