Jacob got out of the prison cell and saw Keira hunched over on the floor, vomiting her ass off. He looked back to the cell and her before going over and patting her back.
Keira couldn't talk yet so she only nodded and hmm'ed to him.
"What happened to you? Weren't you outside?... Did you perhaps get a glimpse inside?"
Keira shook her head.
"I… ahh… I listened."
"You listened?" Jacob tiled his head in confusion, "To what… the screams?"
Keira nodded heavily this time as Jacob deadpanned.
"So you vomited because of the screams… aren't you one of the Valkyries who are assumed to be the toughest women in the kingdom?"
Keira felt even more embarrassed, "I know how it looks… but I was just recruited, I didn't know things would get so nasty this fast."
"Hah" Jacob sighed as he sat beside her, "I understand what you mean, I too have faced nasty stuff when I didn't understand them and couldn't think it would be so fast."
"So… what did you do?" Keira asked like a lost lamb.
Jacob taking the chance, slid in and hugged her shoulders, "I had no choice but to toughen up and learn the realit-"
"HEY JACOB!" Suddenly, Henry's loud voice echoed out of the cell and he came out.
Keira seeing the man, started vomiting once again. Henry's current figure was covered with blood everywhere that it seemed like he came out of a gore movie.
Henry looked at Keira vomiting and Jacob sitting by her and finally at the hand that was still grasping onto the vomiting woman. Then he checked the figures a few more times before saying, "Jacob!... what did I say about sex?"
"Not with underage girls, guys or noble ladies, and if I really wanted to… go to one of the overpriced pimps and use protection."
"That's my guy." Henry nods proudly, "I don't what's happening here, but I need those weapons back. I need to start before that guy loses his consciousness again."
Henry went back inside as Keira stopped herself, "Wha- what did he mean by weapons?"
"Oh? he meant this." Jacob pulled out a bloody brace as Keira felt the vomit come back in her throat again, "There's too much blood on them so he wants me to clean them a bit."

Keira shook her head.
"Ah, that's going to be a problem? The guys probably bleeding and losing his consciousness multiples times inside."
Keira's body shook as she pointed to a guard.
"Oh, you mean that guard might know?"
"Thanks, you've been a big help. I'll talk to you later." Jacob smiled and put his hand over Keira's shoulder before leaving.
Keira's eyes went to her left shoulder where a bloody hand-print was and she started vomiting once again.
When Jacob got back, he saw her vomiting again as he shook his head.
'She's really not cut for this job.'
After another hour of painful screams, Keira finally got a bit accustomed to it as she hugged the walls and stayed quiet.
She heard the words 'I've already told you everything!' and 'Please just kill me' quite a few times that it almost didn't matter anymore.
Keira wondered if Valkyrie business were always this nasty or was it just this one?
Because if it's the first, the young girl wouldn't wait and immediately start writing her resignation letter. This job was really not cut out for her.
Suddenly, the ground started quaking as Keira looked around herself in fear.
"Wh- What is it? What's making that?"
To her answer, I came out.
Keira looked up at me, eyes half devoid of fear or life as she asked, "Is it finished?"
"Did you get anything from him?"
"Oh, I did… I got a whole ton of shit from that bitch." I smile and look back at Margaret who also joined in on the fun, "Is he still alive?"
"Unbelievably, he still is." Margaret said as she looked at the quite pitiful bandit grandpa, "He's just unconscious because of losing too much blood."
Keira, who should have felt weak again hearing those sentence, didn't feel anything as she asked, "What did he say?"
"Too much, but what matters right now is that Seman and the others are going in a trap." I tell her, "Even the Valkyries wouldn't get out of this scot free if they get caught."
Keira held the black railing and slowly got up, "We need to warn them."
"Yeah, that we will. Let's go." With that we leave the prison cell that was half devoid of life now.
"How long has it been since we've been inside?" I ask Alice.
"Almost six hours, master." She said, acting professionally in front of Margaret's watchful gaze, "It's time for your afternoon tea, do I make it?"
"No, tea needs to be postponed. Right now, we need to leave for the company." I say and look at Keira, "Suit up!"
"What? Why me? What did I do?" Keira asked as I left them to get ready.
Keira, who was disturbed, felt a hand over her shoulders. She looked back to see Alice smiling at her, "Don't worry, miss Keira. My master is very good at everything. I'm sure he'll protect you."
'He's going to protect me?... then who's going to protect everyone from him?'
I got up on Reverence, completely armored up. Beside me was Jacob, Keira, Lucian and three thousand soldiers that I took command of for this mission.
Margaret stood by the main floor as she bade me farewell.
"Don't get killed, alright."
"Yeah, same to you too. Make sure to take care of the remaining problems in the city." And then I look at the sad Alice beside her, "Take special care of her, okay?"
"Yes, Master." Alice murmured quietly. She was pretty adamant on coming with me but I ordered her to stay put.
Even though Margaret is quite strong, Alice's existence would guarantee me her safety. In a way, where Alice couldn't use her strength, Margaret would be there for her too.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of things here." Margaret said, her eyes briefly glancing towards Alice.
"Okay… after I come back, fulfill that promise of yours." I give the hint with a wink as she smirked.
"Okay Reverence, Let's go." I pat the old horse as it neighed loudly before running ahead. Jacob, Keira, Lucian and the others followed behind us as we ride out of the city.
Alice watched Henry leave with a quite sadness dawning on her.
'I didn't get to spend much time with master and he leaves already.'
She heard Margaret's voice and looked at her innocently, "He's my master, of course I would like him, madam."
Margaret smiled knowingly and didn't ask further. She turned around and started walking in as Alice asked, "What are you going to do now, Madam?"
"Me... I'm going to purge out the spies in my city."
Alice calmly nodded, "May I help you with that?"
Margaret stopped and turned to her curiously, "And how will you be of help?"
"I have my ways." There was a strange smile on Alice that Margaret liked.
"Hah… alright then, let's see how proficient you are." Margaret said and found Helena coming.
"Helena, I need you to post a notice."
"Hmm… Beheading of the Bandit King, Oricon."
Hearing Margaret's words, Alice smiled as the gears of her mind turned.
