Alice gave a mischievous smile as she resumed normal speed and stood before me.

I nod, "Are you the surprise she talked about?"
Alice didn't get up but winked at me from the corner, "You tell me."

Alice smiled victoriously before looking sharp and following behind me. We both walk towards the troops where they looked curiously at us.

Alice nods, "This are the hired troops, eight thousand as counted before." Then she clapped.
From the group, multiple rows of organized troops with red armor came out.
One of the most highlighted group were none other than wolfmen. They were being led by Oleya who stood in attention.
The wolves were the one gaining the most attention because of their race. But that wasn't all that separated them from the rest.
Their armor was different too.
While all other soldiers had red armor, the wolfmen wore heavy bronze armor with a large canine wolf's symbol on the chest.
"This are your soldiers, master." Alice said and turned to the troops, "Salute your Supreme Overlord!"
"HOO!" The wolves and the soldiers said in unison before bowing respectfully before me. The mercenaries were confused for a second before they joined them too.
"Supreme Overlord?" I ask.
"It sounded more cool than Boss."
Well… it's not wrong.
"Wow! That is a special kind of army huh?" I hear a few soldiers murmur.
"They also have better armor and weapon than us."
"They even have wolfmen as soldiers, that's crazy!"
Most of these were from the Religias soldiers. Then there were the Dragonoir's.
"They have mutts working for them, look at that, a female mutt leader, Haha."
"What about their armor? We also have armor and ours cover not only a few hundred but all ten thousand of us."
"There also seems to be a large number of mercenaries there. What happened? Did they not find enough people to pledge, hehe."
I heard their words and was sure Alice heard them too, but she looked completely calm. Her temperament had improved from before, must be Olenna's work.
I ignore the voices and came before the men, "How are all of you doing?"
"We're fine, Sir!" One of the Colonel rank soldiers said to me.
"Yes, we may have walked a long way but we are already well rested." Another joined him.
Oleya put her closed fist to her chest and talked, "We are ready to destroy the enemy, Sir!"
"Okay… so if I order you to attack now, would you be able to do it?" I ask.
Oleya and the Colonels nod immediately.
I turn around and smile at the Dragonoir soldiers.
Seeing Henry's creepy smile and the combined ten thousand troops standing behind him, the soldiers felt agitated.
They frowned and took a step back, thinking the worst.
I smile and open my mouth as the Dragonoir's feel the heat. Then I close it for a moment before saying, "Forget it, the enemy doesn't seem to have their morale anymore."
My men laugh hearing that as they intentionally keep watching the Dragonoir troops. The Dragonoir troops felt embarrassed and walked away, but not before giving us the stink eyes.
I turn to Oleya, "How many did you bring?"
"Combat ready, there was close to a hundred. But because you wanted security for the Villa, I only brought forty with me."
I count and indeed it was forty.
'Fourty of them should bring out the force of at least 300 normal troops.'
'But I'd better put them on reserve.' I look around some faces, 'Wolfmen aren't that popular among the gentry.'
I check around and besides the two thousand of my personal troop, even the hired mercenaries didn't seem to get along with them.
Desynchronization on the battlefield could become a massive problem for me. The troops morale could fall from just a simple problem of a hair sticking to them, let's not even talk about their behaviors.
But it's still better to have, than none.
I hear a happy voice and see its Seman. He had a big smile which turned to curiosity as he saw the wolfmen. But it quickly went away as he became happy again.
I smile, "My men are here, Lord Seman."
"I can see that!" He happily said and slapped my shoulders.
Seman felt hurt himself but he had learned to hide physical pain quite heavily as he nods with wisdom.
"How many are there?"
"Ten Thousand!" He asked shocked.
I nod, "Besides the few wolfmen, I have ten thousand men. But unfortunately, eight thousand of them had to be filled with hired hands. I hope that doesn't disappoint you."
"No no, Of course not!" Seman shook his head, "It's already great that you brought two thousand of your personal ones. It should have limited you greatly."
I smile but don't answer.
I had more personal troops. A thousand or so more, but I was not going to bring a single extra person.
I am only a Viscount. Viscounts have greater authority than Barons but in the military department, even they also lack there.
At most, a respected Viscount of trusty background is allowed to have three thousand men max.
The two thousand I have are already enough for suspicion, for I was made a Viscount not long ago. And let's not even talk about my trusty background.
"How the tides change huh." He murmured, "Before, I didn't have even have a army of ten thousand and now, just a few days later, we have enough to fight fairly against the Bandit King!"

"Will there be any change now?"
"I was already thinking of taking a change before, but now…" Seman's face lit up in a large smile, "With your added troops, I can do it without any worries."
To tell the truth, my men could have arrived earlier but I told them not to.
Because the one to bring a solution at the end is the one to get the most points.
