The Forbidden Bloodline Chapter 111

Chapter 111 "You're safe with us, sweetie." Not at all! The small girl became agitated as the door started to rattle. "I'm not safe—I'm not; I don't know what to do, and I did something really bad; I tried to stop her from doing this." "It's too late; it wasn't enough." She spoke primarily to herself before turning to face the window and throwing a chair at the glass. It broke, fragments scattering in all directions. "You have to run." As she pushed the king and queen toward the shattered window with her tiny hands, the young girl spoke. "Little child, a monarch does not flee from peril. I can shield you from whoever it is you're afraid of." She gave a forceful shake of her head, but once more, it was too late. The door shattered open, my mother strolling through as the younger me pushed her power forward. The tiny girl's powers transformed into golden light, leaving the king and queen stunned and horrified as they gazed at her. Even though the little girl tried everything she could to save them, her power was insufficient to keep them safe. I recalled every detail of what had transpired up to this point, even the precise next step. Before I could deflect it, the power surge hit me, pinning me to the wall next to the window and just out of the alpha king and queen's reach. "You pathetic little bitch." My mom spoke in a poisonous way. "You believe that if you warn them, I won't murder them? Being cooped up in that basement has made you naive, so I suppose this will teach you a lesson. She had endured her mother's fury for years, so she didn't care if the words tore at her flesh. Instead of following her instructions to go out the window, the alpha pulled his mate behind him and began walking in the direction of the young girl. I shouted, "No, no, no—don't help me, you need to run," even though I could clearly see that I was about to die. However, the issue with alphas was their constant haughtiness. "You are trespassing," the dominant king said, but my mother wasn't present to strike up a conversation. "I have come here to kill you; I think my trespassing is the least of your problems." "No!" I whimpered and writhed in agony. Once more, my mother's power struck, confining the king inside her reach. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I was powerless to divert his attention. He became consumed by the chaos of events, overwhelmed by the multitude of mistakes he had made. Despite knowing that it wouldn't make much of a difference since we were both trapped in my thoughts, I sought his protection and drew closer to him. "Your warriors will be no help to you; I know that you sent most of them to help with the rogue problem in the east—and the rest of them, I put them to sleep for a little while." She had planned it all from the beginning, and I was merely a nuisance that could be easily eliminated. My mother picked up a shard of glass, and as her magic snaked away from me and wrapped around the king, choking him, my small body collapsed to the floor. I caught Luna before she could do anything deadly, despite her valiant attempt to save her mate. My mother's fingers dropped a glass shard, and little me shoved my body sharply against her front, catching me in my back. The place of recollection caused the anguish to flare up. "You have witch blood." The monarch said, "You do not have to do this; we do not have to make the same mistakes as our ancestors." I was astonished, but my mother appeared to halt at his comments. Both then and today, I'm shocked. My mother instilled in us the belief that the Alpha King would not accept us and that we would face no consequences if we revealed the truth. "Mistakes?" My mother yelled angrily. "You are no longer mortal because of the benevolence of your ancestors, who granted you power because you asked for it. What did you do with that power? You removed all of my blood from this planet because you believed we were too strong." "I do not condone what my fathers before me have done." The king said his countenance was unwaveringly royal while being restrained by the throat. "But we can work through this; we can talk it through." As I clutched on to his queen, the king engaged in negotiations. "I don't want to talk; I want my revenge, and I want the throne you stole from me." As my mother used her might to pick up the glass shards off the floor, the room became frigid. They hung in midair for a brief while before hitting their target. As my partner took in the carnage, I stood frozen, observing the tragedy unfold while the alpha king clenched his teeth. My mother turned to face the queen as the blood was all over the place, dripping from the walls to the floor. I noticed that Derrick had a lot of the beauty of his mother in him. Her strength was evident in her dark skin tone, sharp nose, and high cheekbones. Even though the queen knew I had more power than she did over my mother, she nevertheless shoved me behind her. "Your son, where is he?" The strength of the queen was impressive. "And what makes you think I will tell you where he is?" She spoke quietly. "I have killed your mate, and you will be following shortly, but your son is the only thing standing between me and the throne." You don't deserve to rule my people as their queen." " And you will never ever rule my people. Before my mother could intervene, Luna approached. Her mate attacked her and forcefully inserted a glass shard into her chest.
