While in the middle of the surgery, Lu Yifeng's assistant, Su Lei came with the set of clothes for Xia Meiren.
While Xia Meiren went to wash herself and change into the new clothes, Su Lei turned to Zhao Long Ji.
"How is master's condition?" He asked.

"Yes. Although I wasn't able to see it myself, the bullets in master's gun wasn't reduced. He didn't shoot those men. The only other person that was in that place was Madam." Even if Zhao Long Ji didn't want to believe it, this fact was their only evidence. Besides, the gun Xia Meiren was holding only has one bullet left, if it wasn't her then who else could it be?
Su Lei was still doubting though. To be honest, Su Lei himself didn't want a weak girl like Xia Meiren to be his master's woman. He was against it but he couldn't do anything about it.
