Catherine:
I decided to report to my work first before I will look for a small and cheap apartment nearby.
But to my dismay, I don't have a work anymore!
"I'm sorry, Catherine. It's a decision from the higher-ups." My manager said sadly.
"Okay," is all I can say.
I'm so sad!
How am I to live alone now if I don't have a job?
Their reason for firing me is irrelevant. Joining the Billionaire's Temptation Game brought disaster to my life!
I know that there's no one to be blame except for myself from being blinded with love before but with a wrong person!
I envy George for his happy married life. What about me? The universe is cursing me!

There's no one walking in this street. It's only me.

Suddenly, a car stop in front of me!

And I'm shocked when the car opens and Vincent walks out.
I step backwards as he is coming my way!
"Finally found you," he said with relief.
"What are you doing in here?" I ask with grief.
"Let's talk somewhere. Where's your home?" He asked me instead.
Home? I don't have one!
I don't even have a work!
How can I survive?
My mind is in chaos right now that I almost forget that Vincent is in front of me.

"Catherine?" He asked again furrowing his brows.
"Yeah, I don't have a home. Maybe we can talk wherever you may like." I answer.
I just don't have the strength to argue with Vincent.
I welcome his invitation of talking because I'm worried and I want to divert my attention.
"Come in," he open the car door for me.
Wow, He's being a gentleman to me now. I'm wondering what is his hidden agenda?
Hmmm,
We stop in a famous five star hotel and restaurant.
My stomach is getting wild as I'm hungry!
It will be my first time to eat in a very expensive restaurant and hotel.
He order for me and I let him.
We begin eating our delicious steak when I ask him.
"What's the matter? What can I do for you?" I asks with curiousity.
"You should eat first so that you will have strength with what I will ask to you later." He answer in a puzzle.
Strength? For what?
My gosh!
My mind is thinking dirty.
Stop it Catherine.
You and Vincent is just a history now!
No matter how I scolded myself, But deep inside my heart...
I miss him the moment I laid my eyes on him again!
But too bad. I have a gold digger first love rival.
"Okay, I'm hungry. So, I will eat. Thanks for the food." I answer and eat my food with a smile in my face.
The foods in here are superb and very delicious!
They truly deserve for being famous.
After eating, Vincent ask and I nearly fall to my chair!
"Will you Marry me? Again," he asks.
My reaction is just...
Big shocking eyes and open mouth!
"Seriously?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, I'm serious." He answer.
I know that he will never fly here in the Philippines and ask to marry me if there's no valid reason!
He can't fool me.
"Why? Don't tell me that you realize that you're in love with me?" I asked laughing.
I just laughed but deep within my heart is I'm hoping that he will say yes!
That he will say that he miss me so much and loves me.
But I know that it will never happen!
"You know me and it's not the reason." He said seriously.
This time, I look at him. He seems bothered and his eyes has a dark circles that indicates of having sleepless nights and anxiety!
"Yeah, I'm just joking. Why?" I asked.
"It's grandpa, He is terminally ill and is dying, because of cancer." He answer sadly.
And I'm shocked!
I didn't expect that it will happen to Grandpa.
I know that he is a good person and just wanted to have a grandchildren before he died.
But I never thought that he will truly going to die.
I'm praying that their wealth can save him!
"Will he die?" It just slipped to my tongue.
"No! I will not let it happen! I gathered all the best Doctors in this field. He will be save but he requested me to marry you again." Vincent explains.
And my reaction is big eyes and open mouth again!
"I think you can marry whoever you like or marry your first love instead." It may sound sarcastic but I'm just telling the truth.
"I don't have time to argue Catherine. My grandpa needs me. And this time I will beg you." He said sincerely.
So, He loves his grandpa so much!
"Married life is a lifetime commitment. Are you-" I didn't able to finish what I'm talking when he butt in!
"I know! So, I'm giving you, your freedom. We will have a marriage contract for two years. Just two years of marriage life Catherine to make my Grandpa happy. And you will be free after that. " He explains.
"What?" I ask surprise.
What I'm going to ask him is that, If he is ready with a married life because it's a lifetime commitment.
But it turns out that he will only doing all of these for his dying grandfather!
He will never love me. And it hurts like hell!
Why I'am still in love with him?
I thought that it vanished from the moment that I leave him.
But the love is still there when I see him again.
What a bullshit feelings!
"Will you accept my offer?" He ask nervously.
It's the first time I'm seeing him nervous!
"I need to think," I answer shortly.
Getting married with the man that I love is complicated instead of a dream come true.
"Of course, I will let you think. I already book a hotel. I will pick you up the moment you decide." He said with a hopeful eyes.
I just sighed.
I'm angry but my heart pity this handsome man in front of me.
Where's justice in all of these?
"Okay, I will let you know." I said.
Before we part ways, he give me his phone number for me to call him if ever I will decide.
When I arrive at Monet's home. She's crying loudly.
"What happened?" I ask.
"Catherine, My Mom died!" She answers and cry out loud.
"Oh, I'm sorry for your lost." I said while hugging her.
"Thank you. But I need to go home now Catherine, In our province. My family needs me and they're waiting for me." She said sadly.
"You should go and I'm sorry that I can't be with you."
"It's okay, I understand. But can you manage this apartment?" She ask.
"Of course until you come back," I answer.
"But I don't know when I'm coming back Catherine. We have a small business of sugar in there. Since my Mom died, I plan to continue the business." She explains."I'm sorry," she added.
Looks like, I'm gonna accept Vincent's offer as soon as possible!
"It's okay Monet. I decided to be with Vincent," I said.
"What?" She asks surprise.
"Yeah," I answer.
"When? Where? Where is that hot husband of yours?!" And now she's smiling and excited.
I want to tell her, Hello! You're supposed to be sad and cry because your mother died!
But of course, I can't tell it to her face.
"I'm going to text him. He will pick me up." I answer.
"Wow! He came to pick you up! So sweet of him."
"Yes, He's sweet." I said awkwardly.
If she will know that it's only a marriage contract. I'm sure that she will shout!
Then again, I can't tell her about it.
"I'm happy for you Catherine. Don't forget to message me." She said.
"Of course, We will have a best friend long distance relationship." I joke.
"Sounds great!" Monet agrees.
And a few moments later...
Vincent arrive and Monet couldn't hide her excitement.
She will always tell me that I'm so lucky to have a handsome and hot husband!
Am I really lucky?
I just sigh...
