[The Beginning Of Pain And Hurt]
Ellie walked over to them.
“Elsa.” She called out as she got close to her.
“Hmmm, Ellie.” Elsa said cutting eye contact with Jayson.
“Erm… Jayson, meet my sister, Ellie.” Elsa said introducing them.
“Hi.” Ellie said.
“Hi.” Jayson simply replied.
“You are the one I’m sitting next to, right?” He asked.
“Yes.” She said with a slight blush.
“Oh, okay, see you guys later.” He said and left.
“Hmmm, what were you guys discussing?” Ellie asked.
“Nothing, he’s just asking me to be his friend, that’s all.” Elsa replied.
“Ohh, okay.”
“Isn't it weird for Jayson to talk to you? From what I heard about him, he hardly talk to people and more so he is very selective of the friends he has.” Ellie said.
“So what was your reply?” Ellie asked.
“No.” Elsa said not minding at all.
“No!!” Ellie exclaimed.
“I mean he is cool and friendly but I don’t want to be his friend not when he is one of the popular boys in school.” Elsa said.
“And besides I am not you.” Elsa said looking at her and smirked.
“What are you tryna say? That I would jump at every opportunity to be his friend? Yes, if that is what you want to know.” Ellie said.
“He is a bright student so if you don’t accept, you are in loss.” Ellie said and shove a tongue at her sister.
“Yeah, gotta go to the café, meet me there.” Elsa said leaving Ellie alone.
Why does everyone she seem to love want to befriend Elsa?
She sighed and went over to her locker. She dropped her bag and went to the café.
When she got to the café, she saw Elsa and Julia sitting at a corner so she went over to them.
“How was class?” Julia asked.
“Awkward.” Ellie said as she took a seat beside them.
“How awkward was it?” Julia asked.
“We were asked to introduce ourselves…” Elsa was still talking about it when Julia started laughing.
“What is with the laughter?” Ellie asked.
“I know just how awkward it is, don’t bother explaining.” Julia said taking a bite from her hamburger.
“I’m going to get my food.” Ellie said standing up and went ahead to the counter.

Jake kept staring at Ellie, her face seem familiar but from where?.
“Hey, man.” Jeremy said bringing Jake back to reality.
“Having a crush on the new students.” Jace said.
“Nope, just wondering why their face look familiar.” Jake said shrugging.
“Whatever.”
“Jayson, why are you quiet?” Jasper asked.
“I am naturally quiet.” Jayson said with an eye roll.
“Hi, Jayson.” They heard a very familiar voice behind them.
They smirked knowing who it was and why she was here.
“Oh, please, not again.”
“Oh, hi, Shawna.” Jayson said and stood up then he faced her.
“Hi, girls.” The rest of the boys greeted the rest of the girls.
“I just thought I should say hi, I greeted you earlier this morning but you did not reply so I guess you were angry.” Shawna said.
“Do I need to give an explanation for not replying you?” Jayson asked.
“oh, please don’t get me wrong, just thought I should greet you.” She said.
He looked at her blankly for some while and nodded. He sat down back.
Shawna and the rest of the girls went to sit in another place.
“why is he always harsh with you?” One of Shawna's friends asked.
“keep quiet.” Shawna instructed.

Jayson kept stealing glances at Elsa. She hasn’t accepted to be his friend yet. He just wanted a friend who would not see him as the sole heir of his Father’s property or who would not want to befriend him because he is rich.
When he saw her, he knew she was different and he is so hell–bent on making her his friend.
He needed a friend that he could tell his problems. A friend he could come meet when he is having a fight with his inner demon.
Fate has chosen her.

“Why didn’t you accept to be his friend?” Ellie asked.
“Who?” Elsa asked not getting what she meant.
“I mean Jayson’s friend.” Ellie said.
Elsa raised her eyebrow and hissed.
“I am not here to make friends.” Elsa said heading to the bathroom.
“Did you see the lady that was speaking to Jayson during lunch in the café?.” Ellie asked.
“How do you expect me to be monitoring someone that I am not even acquainted with?” Elsa asked.
“I am so tired of you talking about Jayson.” Elsa said and went into the bathroom slamming the door shut making Ellie flinch.
“What is wrong with her?” Ellie thought.
“Jayson.” Ellie said giggled.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
“Who is there?” Ellie asked.
“It is me, Julia.” Julia said.
Ellie stood up and opened the door.
“It is already dark, what are you doing outside?” Ellie asked.
“Keep your voice low.” Julia said whisperingly.
Ellie knotted her eyebrows in confusion.
“I-I went to see someone.” Julia said.
“And what are you doing here? And besides who is it you went to see at this time of the night?” Ellie asked.
“Oops, did I say I went to see someone?” Julia asked.
Ellie narrowed her eyes on her.
“Hmm, I meant I went for a walk.” Julia said and gulped dryly.
“Why didn’t you return to the your dormitory?” Ellie asked.
“Actually, dormitories are locked immediately after 10:40 PM.” Julia explained.
“And what time is it?” Ellie asked.
“This should be 11:00 PM.” She said and cringed.
“You went for a walk by 11:00 PM.” Ellie said started laughing.
“You don’t know how to lie.” Ellie said not buying her lie.
“You believe whatever you want to believe.” Julia said and scoffed.
“Julia?!” Elsa asked surprised as soon as she came out of the bathroom.
“Hmm, Hi, Elsa.” Julia said.
“Can I sleep in here?” Julia asked.
“Yes, sure.” They both said and smirked mischievously.
Julia looked at their mischievous smirk.
“W-what is wrong?” Julia asked.
“As it is only two beds, I guess you will be sleeping on the floor.” Ellie said while Elsa laughed.
“W-what.. T-the.. You… I… I can’t believe this.” Julia stuttered in annoyance.
“You got no choice since you went for a walk.” Ellie said and started laughing again. Soon after Elsa joined.
