Tears were beginning to pool in her eyes,
I grew even more infuriated, why did she have to say all these wrong things? I was willing to give her anything else in the world, but this was what she wanted?
I had thought she would be different, but she was betraying me just like everyone else, she was just like the rest of them!
I wanted to throttle her for every tear spilled that wasn't for me. Still, I couldn't kill her just like I should if it was anyone else in her place, neither could I let her go.
She was so frightened by me, but still, she was here for him, it goes to say how much she actually cared about that bastard.
There was just one reason why I hadn't killed him off completely, same yesterday, my men had run a thorough background check on him, it was discovered that he had spent some part of his life in Russia, six years ago, he had moved down to this place and had somehow managed to make his place as one of Marcus most trusted men.
Cracking through his passwords to his computer, everything pointed that he could be a spy planted by Marcus. Naturally, it wouldn't have been any of my concern about how Marcus handled his men who turned out to be traitors, but now, our families were related. Aside from that, I didn't want to release him to anyone else. I was more entitled to finish him off more than anyone else.
Derek Lowe had managed to stay beside Marcus undetected, his biggest flaw had been trying to run away with my woman. It seemed that he had preferred love over Vladimir's assignment.
I still need some information from him, about Vladimir's intention and a detailed report of every message he had relayed to him.
The sooner Brie forgot about him, then we could begin to build our own family. And I plan on having a huge one, she would give birth to my heirs and successors.
I caressed her face, snarling when tried to move away.
With my thumb, I caressed her soft full lips. Lips that no doubt drove men crazy, but then, I would have to kill all of them because those red plums were only mine to taste. I understood all these perfectly well, why couldn't she as well?
An idea was starting to form in my mind, she was here just in time. She would have to forget him, and I would easily help her out with that.
"You want me to let him go? "
She didn't respond at once, her crystal blue eyes held confusion but she slowly nodded. A rigid smile plastered on my lips.
"Then wife, what are you willing to give me in return? You should know that there is never free trade, Isn't it? "
Her response came instantly.
"I'll give y..you money, I already saved a lot, you can have them all, .just let him go...." Her words were cut short by my loud chuckle, the slight hope that had formed in her eyes gradually began to diminish until the dull look returned. I could almost feel sorry for her.
Almost, but not quite. We haven't even begun.
"I have money sweetheart, think again." My fingers toyed with her ear lobes and she shuddered visibly, she started to move away. I easily brought her back, repositioning her ass on my full erection. I think that was when she realized, a patch of redness formed on her cheeks, and if that wasn't the most fucking adorable thing I've seen today. I wanted to spread her across my desk, but first, we still have serious matters between us to attend to.
Leaning closer to her ears, I whispered slowly. "You can't be thinking about offering your body to me because it is already mine! I can touch you whenever fuck your tight little cunt whenever is it not?"
Her eyes brimmed with tears, she glared at me hatefully.
"Why are you so cruel? Why did you pick me? Why me heartless jerk! "
The answer to that was easy, it was simply because it was her, she was my Brie. As far as hate was concerned, in a few seconds, she would loathe me more, because of what I was about to do...
"Since you miss him so much, shall we check on him? Let's see if your little lover boy misses you as well! " I snarled. She tensed against me, fear shone in her eyes, she wasn't stupid, I think she very well understood my intention.
She would have to erase him from her mind completely, I was not giving her a second option.
