CHAPTER TWELVE

Devin was the only one person who could disturb me on my fucking wedding night and get away with it. Alive.
As annoyed as I was about it, it was some serious issue, related to work.
There was a traitor amongst us.
The newly designed A-12 was a new idea, a small explosive that could be shaped into just about any structure. It was supposed to be our new invention.
Except that the traitor amongst us already sold that piece of information. To our enemies, Vladimir Petrov. And today, they are launching it. my very own creation. Stolen!
All the hard work, including the money spent, was all gone to waste. I was fuming with rage, whoever the traitor was would be sniffed out, until then... I would wait patiently.
Loyalty had always been a principle set up by my father, a trait that every one of his men ought to possess.
The files had always been stacked here in my home, whoever had stolen it must have planned each step, know each routine of mine, and at the perfect opportunity, had gone through my office.
It could be my men or any one of the domestic workers, that held the highest possibility, I haven't had any one of them quit in at least six months, whoever the traitor was no doubt was still in my own home.
It wouldn't be long before they get what they deserved.
For now, the only thing I could think of was to go to my wife. She was only a room away but even I couldn't bear the slightest distance between us.
The thought of going there to claim what was already mine made my member throbbed painfully, it wouldn't be satisfied until it was buried into her warm untouched depths.
My sweet Brie, and yet so afraid of me.
I understood that she would be nervous, it was a new environment, after all, I might as well give her a few days to adjust. I already waited for her for so many years, I could manage a few days. Disappointment weighed deep.
I met her arguing with one of the workers, she was familiar, Anya was her name, even though I worked with so many people, it was a habit for me to always remember everyone's faces and names, in that way, they would know that I always had my eyes set on them.
The red silk robe I had gotten as a gift for Brie was laying carelessly.
She didn't want to wear them, she didn't want my gift.

My eyes were solely focused on my target.

With each step I took forward, her face turned paler until she started to back away from me.
I could scent her fear in the air, and I wouldn't be lying if I said it turned me on, I could already feel my bulge straining against my trousers, all begging to be let free.
I stalked her until she had nowhere else to move, she was backed against the wall, with me caging her against any means of an escape.
That was when she averted her eyes, choosing to stare at her feet instead, her action sent a stir of anger in my heart.
Always so disobedient. I had already warned her that her eyes should be on me always, she seemed to have forgotten that.

She flinched at the sound of my voice but didn't move to do as I said, it seemed she was all too greedy to get punished on her very first night here.
"Eyes upward Gabrielle! Look at me." I snapped impatiently. Still, she hesitated, no longer having it, I snaked my fingers around the delicate column of her neck, I couldn't help but think it would be so easy to break her in two, one snap and she would be gone. I would never want that for my Brie, she was mine in this life for as long as I was concerned, even in death she would always belong to me.
I shifted my fingers to her jaw, forcing her head upwards, so she was looking at me.
"What do you want from me? " she rasped.
I gazed at her levelly for some seconds. I didn't want anything from her, I wanted her. There was a huge difference.
For defying me, she was bound to be thought a lesson or two.
Pressing forward with one knee, I easily made space for myself between her thighs, pressing my hips forward so she would feel my raging erection at the junction between her thighs.
"You know what I want." I murmured in a low tone.
Her eyes were wide with a combination of anger and fear.
"Take off your clothes, Let me see what's mine! "

"Why? " I spoke numbly.
I knew this was coming, but nothing could have prepared me for the intense power of his gaze.
A cruel smirk formed across his face.
"Why, dear wife? So we can fuck "
My ears blared hot at his crude statement, the nerves in my body stood high in alarm.
As though make emphasis on his statement, he moved even closer, so that I was now flattened against him. My breasts were cushioned against his lower chest.
I was thrown in a panicked state when the feel of his rigid members between my legs grew more severe, there were just the materials of clothes between us, and he was asking me to take them off.
I also could feel a different kind of pressure against my skin, where the knife was carefully hidden inside my dress.
My eyes searched the room, hoping desperately for an escape route, he must have read into my look and knew what I was thinking.
"Take off your clothes Brie! You can't run from me! I'll always catch you, little mouse. I'll do it for you!" His tone was low and menacing.
I was already caged between him and the wall, there was nowhere to run.
He caught my wrists in a strong grip until I cried out from the pain.
"Please no, I'm not ready! I need some more time"
My first tears fell, I was beginning to sob, my whole body trembling uncontrollably against his stronger much larger frame.
I wished to reach out to whatever humanity he had left, I should have known by what he did to Derek that he had none.
His eyes were so cold, those weren't eyes that revealed mercy underneath.
"If I have to repeat my words one last time, you will regret it, my little wife." His breath teased my ear, his fingers skimming through the materials of my gown.

If he went any lower, he was bound to discover my weapon, that was the only thing I had left against this monster, I couldn't allow him to discover it.
"Please Lucian, I'm not ready for this! I don't want to do this!"
I had always imagined my first time would be spent with Derek, I shifted my eyes to Lucian's and a chill jolted my body, I had the feeling that he knew the direction of my thoughts.
"But you were ready to run away with that bastard, weren't you? " He taunted, the smirk on his face betrayed the icy rage that simmered in his eyes.
"You belong to me, Brie! I'm your husband! And I won't be denied of my rights, Refuse me again, I dare you to Brie!" He hissed, his grey eyes simmering with hot fury.
He kissed me.

Devouring my cries and pleas with the fierce slam of his lips, his fingers burrowed into my hair while the other cupped my butt, so he was grinding his erection against my feminine paths.
"Fuck. You taste so damn good. " He muttered.
Hot sloppy tongue trailed my neckline while the other massaged my breasts, feeling them through my dress.
I was hitting him crying out for him to stop, but it seemed as though he was carved from rock, soon my fists were beginning to hurt.
This was going to happen, I had to stop it now I still had the chance to.
I was trembling with panic even as my fingers sought for the knife. I've never harmed anyone before, could I really kill a man?
Maybe I should just hurt him enough so that he lets me go? That thought sat more comfortably with my conscience.
I gripped the knife tightly, but then something happened, he broke the kiss and was starting to step backward, but it was too late to stop my hand movements.
