As the doctor mentioned the ultrasound, I felt my ears perk up with excitement. This was it - I would finally know the sex of the baby growing inside me. Was it a boy or a girl? I felt my heart racing with anticipation, eager to find out.
The doctor began to brief me on the ultrasound procedure and other important antenatal procedures and schedules. I listened intently, taking in every word. They explained the different stages of pregnancy, and what to expect in the coming months.
"Your delivery will be safe, m'am," the doctor said, giving me a reassuring smile. "We'll make sure you and your baby are in good hands." I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
Despite the confusion and uncertainty of my current situation, I was grateful to have the support and care of medical professionals. I knew that they would do everything in their power to ensure a safe and healthy delivery. But I couldn't overcome the feeling of anxiety easily.
As I left the doctor's office, I felt a sense of excitement and hope. I was one step closer to finding out the sex of my baby, and I was eager to start this new chapter of my life. As i walked out of the hospital, a young man approached me. He stepped out of the hospital as well, looking confident and eager. He smiled at me and I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.
"Excuse me, miss," he said, "I just had to come over and introduce myself. My name is Dickinson and I couldn't help but notice your beauty. You're simply stunning."
I looked at him disdainfully and took a step back, not wanting to encourage this stranger. His compliments made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't know how to respond.
"Thank you," I said politely, "but I really need to be going now."
"Of course," he said, not taking the hint, "but before you go, let me tell you something. I am a medical doctor and I would love the opportunity to take care of you. I know I could make a difference in your life."
He reached out his hand for me to shake, but I looked at it with suspicion. I didn't know this man and I wasn't interested in getting to know him.
"I appreciate the offer," I said, trying to be polite, "but I already have a doctor. Thank you for your time."
I turned to leave, but he grabbed my arm, stopping me. His touch made me feel even more uneasy and I quickly pulled away.
"I understand if you're not interested," he said, "but just remember, I'm here if you ever need anything."
I nodded, still feeling uncomfortable, and quickly walked awayAs i looked at the young man approaching me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust. He was dressed in a flashy two-piece suit, complete with a tailored jacket and matching pants. The dark fabric hugged his athletic build and the crisp white shirt only served to highlight his arrogance.
His grooming was impeccable, with every hair in place and a freshly shaven face. It was clear that he had taken great care in his appearance, but to me, it only made him appear shallow and insincere.

I turned to face him, fixing him with a stern look. "Listen," I snapped. "I don't know who you think you are, but I'm not interested. Just leave me alone, okay?"
He looked taken aback by my words, but he didn't back down. "Come on, don't be like that," he said, still trying to win me over.
I had had enough. I was in no mood to deal with this kind of nonsense, especially not in this body. I took a deep breath and let him have it.
"I'm not playing games," I said, my voice firm and dismissive. "I don't know what you're looking for, but you're not going to find it with me. I don't have time for this, and I don't have any interest in playing along. So just back off, okay?"
He finally seemed to get the message, and he stepped back, a defeated look on his face. I didn't wait around to see what he would do next. I quickly hailed a taxi and climbed inside, relieved to be putting some distance between us. As the taxi pulled away, I let out a sigh of relief. It was frustrating to be hit on like that, especially in this body.
I settled into the back seat of the taxi, I let out a scoff of disgust. "What a moron," I muttered to myself, thinking about the young man who had tried to flirt with me. I was already feeling frustrated and angry, and that encounter had only added fuel to the fire.
I bent down and removed my heels, feeling grateful for the chance to get comfortable. Those shoes were clumsy and restrictive, and I was relieved to have them off.
The taxi drove through the busy city streets, I leaned back against the seat and closed my eyes while humming a song as the events of the day ran amok in my mind I suddenly opened my eyes and stared outside the windows trying to make sense of what had happened.
How is it possible to swap bodies I wondered. The thought of being in the body of a woman, surrounded by unfamiliar sights and sounds had never crossed my mind before and it was a disorienting and unsettling experience, and I wasn't sure how to cope with it.
The cab zoomed down the street heading for my house. The buildings rushed last us and i suddenly caught sight of a bar at a corner. I felt a strong urge to go inside, to order a drink or two and forget about the world for a little while. The thought of a cold beer or a stiff drink was almost irresistible.
But then, I remembered the doctor's words. They had warned me about the dangers of drinking while pregnant, and their warnings echoed in my mind like a howl. I gulped, feeling a sense of guilt and fear wash over me.
I took a step back, away from the bar. I knew that I couldn't risk it, not with the life of a child growing inside me. I couldn't let my own desires jeopardize the health and well-being of an innocent being.
I glanced at my watch. The watch was a ladies made fashion watch and the thought of actually putting it on made me want to cringe into a hole.
I took my phone and hesitated for a moment. I knew who I had to call, but I was still feeling a mix of uncertainty and excitement. Finally, I found the number tagged as "Dickinson" and hit the call button.
