“It's been how long now, five days, a week? and he has not even bother to call or to even check on you!.” Erick cry on my behalf.
“It's just been three days Erick, three days!. Why will he bother to check on me when mum and I practically drove him out of my house. As if it wasn't enough my mum had to walk out of him after she invited him in that night. OMG! that was so embarrassing!.” I explain like everything is alright, although I'm kind of disappointed in him. I was expecting him to run after me but he gave up so quick.
“No! no my baby after all you counted me I think he had to check on you. You told me how intense it was between you guy, if he felt that same intensity, baby, he would have checked on you. Trust me! I know men. As he didn't call this simply means one thing! that fondness you counted was one-sided.” he explains throwing his pitiful glance at me, this pieces my heart.
“I think it's fine this way!.” I confusedly retort battling so hard with myself to act unaffected.
Yet, Erick sense the discomfort in my voice and he shifts closer and he clenches me tight in his arms.
“Please stay far away from him he isn't good for you and he’s a married man!. My baby, you deserve more.” he tenderly lowers his voice and cuddles my hairs.
His voice keeps echoing in my mind “Married man! Married man!” rendering me sick and damn guilty yet not erasing the feelings.
“Let me get you something cold to drink!.” he paths away from me running into his kitchen.
We are in his house, at least mum doesn't know his place. I can rest far away from her and her drama. It's not like she didn't search for it, it's just that we managed to hide it away from her.
“Do you remember Carter!. They guy working as manager of the Bliss!.” he moves back into the parlour with a huge smile on and he plunges back on the couch.
Bliss is the club where I was previously working.
“Yes!.” I eagerly nod.
“Yesterday he came to me asking about you. He even confined that he like you, and the he was about revealing it to you but you left.” he keeps reciting with so much joy. “Isn't it good news!.”
“It is indeed! although things have changed now, and I practically have no time for me talkless getting time for someone else!.”
“Like seriously, girl...? but you got time for Dickinson! a married man!.” he scowls at me then he adds “No, no and no you are going for Carter. He isn't a millionaire but he isn't crime to. He is rich I can say and above all a sexy bachelors like Carter!.”
“The thing is, I don't even want to be in a relationship right now, I hardly have time. All I need is just to find so time for myself and relax!.” I flinch.
“He want a date with you!” he adds like he didn't hear what I said about no relationship for me now.
“Who?” I wonder aloud!. “Carter of course!” he retorts.
“I don't have time for such now!.” I flinch again.
“Sorry bb, I just sent him you number telling him you’ve agreed on a dinner tomorrow evening!.” Erick smiles.
“Oh, no!” I cry
“Oh, yes!” he keeps smiles meanwhile I just feel as killing him right now. “I will kill you Erick” I cry “I told you I need no such thing right now!”
I check the time on my watch “ I have to go to work now. I will definitely kill on you once I get back!” I perk his jaw as I get up from the couch.
“Please, give him a trial, okay?. And it will help you to forget about Dickinson” he keeps insisting.
“I will think about it!” I carelessly retort just appeals to her heart. “That's my girl!” he shouts and then escorts me out and puts me in a cab.

The cab drops me in front of the company.
I walk in the building and I take the elevator to my floor. Like I'm rushing because I'm a few minutes late. I had to stop at Erick’s places to appeals to my heart first.
The lifters doors open and my eyes fall on Dickinson with his sexy body and handsome face, he ties is off and the two first buttons of his shirt are unbuttoned. His pen in his mouth busily ready some documents. So busy that he doesn't notice when I enter. It's once the lifter door closes that he turns to check who just entered.
He removed the pen from his mouth when he sees me leaning at one angle trying so hard to ignore him. He notices it and this makes him slightly chuckles deep down in him. He quickly takes his glance at me and he turns it on to his files.
Once he turns back to his files, I lift back my eyes to watch him. “Strange! he always stares” I cry deep down.
I already feeling him clenching me right on the wall and kissing every part of me. Just this the thought makes me hot. I'm practically heating in the side of this lifter.
Meanwhile, he keeps acting like no one is around until the door opens and I steps out, I even looking behind yet he keeps the acting busy and the door closes back without him lifting up his stare even for a second. This breaks my heart. I had many expectations and I painfully walk to my desk.
“Okay! now Dickinson has left me, my opinion is Carter. My only hope for now.”
