Ye Qian gawked, then laughed and said, “Next time, next time uncle will buy you Xi Yangyang.”
Beng Beng held the doll in her hands and smiled sweetly and said, “Thank you uncle.”
At this moment, Ji Meng Qing had served the food already. She gave Ye Qian a faint smile then said, “Come eat!”
“Mama, uncle says next time he’ll buy me Xi Yangyang.” Beng Beng said happily as she ran to Ji Meng Qing’s side.
Ji Meng Qing gave her a doting look then said, “Did you thank uncle?”
“Of course I said thank you, Beng Beng is a good girl.” Beng Beng pouted.
Ye Qian chuckled. After he took a seat he rubbed Beng Beng’s head and said, “Beng Beng, today is your birthday, do you have a wish?”
Beng Beng tilted her head while thinking, then said “Yes, I wish for mama to find me a papa. Everybody in kindergarten has a papa, only Beng Beng doesn’t have a papa, Beng Beng wants a papa.” Because Ji Meng Qiang and Zhang Jian divorced just after Beng Beng was born, and Zhang Jian never came to take care of Beng Beng, Beng Beng didn’t have any affection for him. That impression never came to her, each time she saw Zhang Jian she never called him papa.
Ji Meng Qing stared at Beng Beng then said, “Don’t speak nonsense.” Then her eyes couldn’t help turning to Ye Qian, the meaning in her eyes was quite clear. Ye Qian involuntarily stared blankly then quickly turned his head away.
“Come, sit properly.” Ji Meng Qing placed Beng Beng on the seat, then took a seat across from Ye Qian. Then she gave Ye Qian a grateful look and said, “Thanks for coming tonight.”
Ye Qian smiled faintly then said, “I should be the one thanking you, or else I wouldn’t know where to get dinner tonight, haha.”
Ji Meng Qing said, “Then if you have free time in the future, just come here often to eat. After all when it’s just me and Beng Beng it feels lonely. Come here often from now on, the house will be a little livelier.”
When Ye Qian saw Ji Meng Qing’s tender look he chuckled twice, not saying anything further. Just a couple of “en” sounds counted as his agreement.
Beng Beng grabbed a spoon then stuffed her mouth with food. With a smiling face she looked at Ji Meng Qing, then at Ye Qian and said, “Mama, do you like uncle? Then make uncle Beng Beng’s dad.”
When Ye Qian heard this he became stupefied, staring blankly not knowing what to do or say. Ji meng Qing glared at Beng Beng and said, “What do little kids know, hurry up and eat.” Then her eyes turned back to Ye Qian, her eyes had a deep look of expectation and passion.
Ye Qian only lowered his head, pretending he did not see anything. He could feel the meaning behind Ji Meng Qing’s look. But Ye Qian really did not feel anything for her, at least right now he didn’t.
After they finished eating, Ji Meng Qing brought out the cake. She lit the candles then turned off all the lights. Instantly the whole room only had the faint light from the candles. “Mama, uncle, let’s blow it together.” Beng Beng pulled Ji Meng Qian and Ye Qian.
One person on each side, the two persons looked at each other. Ji Meng Qing involuntarily blushed. At this moment, Ye Qian felt that something was wrong, it was like he was the patriarch and with them they were a family of three.
After blowing the candles, Beng Beng gave Ji Meng Qing and Ye Qian each a kiss.

After work, Lin Rou Rou left the hospital and went directly to the coffee shop she set with Qin Yue. While Lin Rou Rou was hurrying over, Qin Yue was already seated and waiting. When she saw Lin Rou Rou approach, Qin Yue stood up and smiled faintly
Lin Rou Rou smiled apologetically and said, ���I’m sorry I kept you waiting.”
Qin Yue smiled indifferently and said, “I just arrived too. What would you like to drink?”
“Coffee!” Lin Rou Rou replied
Qin Yue waved her hand, when the waiter arrived beside her she ordered, “A Blue Mountain Coffee.” She looked at Lin Rou Rou then asked, “Why didn’t Ye Qian come with you?”
Lin Rou Rou replied, “He left after lunch.” A short pause, then she continued, “The truth is meeting you was my idea, he doesn’t know.”
Even though Qin Yue didn’t know what Lin Rou Rou’s intentions were, she more or less had an idea of what it was about. She looked at Lin Rou Rou’s hesitation then said, “Tell me what you want to say.”
“I… I…” Lin Rou Rou hesitated for a bit, then raised her head to look at Qin Yue, “Miss Qin, do you like Ye Qian?”
Qin Yue stared blankly, then nodded, and said, “Yes, I like Ye Qian. An outstanding man like him, if I say I don’t like him it would be a lie. But I only found out today that he has a girlfriend, moreover he likes you a lot. Even though I’m a little upset about it, I won’t give up.”
“Miss Qin, you misunderstand me.” Lin Rou Rou said, “I didn’t invite you here to accuse you, only to have a chat with you. The truth is, I know that an outstanding man like Ye Qian will surely have a lot of girls around him. Ye Qian told me about you plainly, turns out you suit him quite well. At least in business you can give him a lot of help, as for me, I am just a burden. Don’t ever misunderstand, I’m being sincere, what I want to say is, if you really love him, I can choose to leave.”
Qin Yue stared at her blankly in surprise and discovered that Lin Rou Rou’s expression was genuine, there was no hint of falseness. Qin Yue didn’t think herself was in the wrong, striving for love was everybody’s right. But Qin Yue now realized suddenly why Ye Qian liked Lin Rou Rou so much, this girl really had unique merits. After a pause, Qin Yue said, “Miss Lin, you and Ye Qian have been in a relationship for so long, I believe you understand him well. If your relationship were to be damaged because of me, if you choose to back away, I’m afraid Ye Qian would never forgive me. Of course, I know you are sincere, that you aren’t scheming. But if I do this I’ll be scorning your affection for Ye Qian, and scorning his affection for you.”
Lin Rou Rou stared at Qin Yue blankly. She was a woman, naturally she could feel jealous, but she wasn’t the petty kind that would look for Qin Yue to lay accusations and criticisms. She genuinely believed that Qin Yue was the best match for Ye Qian. To love a person, wasn’t it about thinking about the other? The problem Qin Yue mentioned never occurred to her. But Qin Yue spoke thus, Lin Rou Rou had to admit there was merit to it.
