The Japanese, although unsatisfied at being stopped and unable to leave, didn’t cause any trouble and lined up as instructed by the police, waiting for their checks. Yan Fei couldn’t help but admire the disciplined nature of the Japanese, who maintained order even under such circumstances. However, the photos the police had received of the robber were intentionally left by Yan Fei, and with his significantly altered appearance, the police wouldn’t recognize him.
But after receiving a phone call, the police began to strictly check the identity documents of the passengers disembarking. Anyone found with problematic identification was immediately taken into the police cars parked aside. Yan Fei didn’t have any Japanese identity documents, so he couldn’t sneak out in the confusion.
