"What do you intend me to do?" Torq asked once he was satisfied with the answers.
"Tell me your capabilities before that." Eureur Pet walked towards the bed and slowly took a seat, "I’ll make plans accordingly."
"Sure," Now that things had progressed to such an extent, Torq decided to reveal the inner workings of his Primary Nature, unafraid it would be leaked, since the Eureur Pet Pet was under his control.
"I see," Eureur Pet nodded once she obtained a clear picture, "So, you also have Runthral as a Pet, that’s perfect."
She made eye contact and asked next, "Have you tried it then?"
"Stealing that Pet’s potential, I mean."
"No," Torq shook his head, "I can only steal Runthral’s potential once. So, I plan to do it when I get the most value out of it."
"So, that part remains the same, huh." Eureur Pet nodded and then clapped softly, "Then let’s put it behind ourselves and focus on what I intended for you beforehand."
"I’ll enhance your capabilities in using Mystic Mist Art." She asked next, "How much do you know about it?"
"I’ve had dealings with the Cooter Ancestor." Torq said, "Most of the things I know about the Cooter Clan come from him."
"That means you have a satisfactory level of foundational knowledge." Eureur Pet revealed a trace smile, "That’s good then. I’ll have you focus on practical application of the cultivation technique instead."
"Quick thinking." Saying so, she caused a sphere of water to jump out of the stream of water flowing within the bedroom, and sent it hurling towards Torq’s face.
Torq promptly unleashed the effects of Mystic Mist Art to wrestle for dominance over the sphere of water. The stream of Prana he unleashed to fuel psychokinesis made contact with the tip of the sphere.
And right as it began to wrestle for control, the sphere of water morphed shape to open up like a beast’s head. The portion Torq had grain control over was the tongue section of the beast, which got cut off from the rest of the head.
The rear end of its open mouth was empty, where the severed tongue was hovering, propped up by Torq’s psychokinesis. The head smoothly flew towards Torq and splashed upon his head.

Torq wiped the water from his body, eyeing his mother in surprise, for the other party had unleashed a level of power on par with his and casually won the exchange.
"You have a good foundation of theoretical knowledge." Eureur Pet spoke, "Now, I’ll be hammering it into your instincts."
"Again!" She shouted and sent another sphere of water flying at Torq. And just like before, the sphere turned into a head, smoothly segregating the portion Torq had gained control over into becoming the tongue, a disadvantageous position.
This time, Torq was ready, as he expanded the tongue to form spikes that aimed to puncture through the head, this way seeking to gain control from multiple entry points. But right as the spikes were about to touch the head, the head expanded into mist and smoothly flowed around the water spikes.
The gust of mist approached Torq and condensed before him to form a sphere of water that splashed upon his face.
"You are learning well." Eureur Pet moved towards the rear end of the bed and rested her back on the wall, barely having any physical strength left to move around. She grabbed a pillow from nearby and used it to prop up her arms. Now, positioned comfortably, she eyed Torq and spoke, "Remember that the strength of Mystic Mist Art dwells in its ever-changing flow and in being able to dissolve various substances and even filter out substances mixed into it."
"Again!" She sent another sphere of water flying at Torq. The same sequence of events as before happened. The tongue spiked to puncture through the head, which in response turned into mist.
Right as it was about to flow past the water spikes, the water expanded to become mist too. But just as it seemed like the two streams of mist were about to mix, the one controlled by Eureur Pet changed its density and viscosity.
It left behind traces of minerals on the portion of mist under Torq’s control, making it a tad heavier. And since both streams of mist were being manned by the same amount of psychokinesis, the one controlled by Torq turned a tad slower.
Though he tried to protect himself, the mist under his control reached him a fraction of a second later, unable to defend him on time.
Water splashed down his cheeks once again. Torq wiped it off and watched another sphere of water fly his way again, ’She’s using exactly the same amount of power as me but is casually overpowering me. It’s a difference in terms of skill and practical application.’
’Even though I have a lot of knowledge regarding Mystic Mist Art, I haven’t been using it for a long enough time.’ Revealing a wide grin, Torq faced the sphere of water once again, ’I’ll soak up everything she’s teaching me.’
Water continued to splash upon his face time and again. But Torq only grew more and more excited, for he felt his expertise in using Mystic Mist Art was improving in real time. The more he wielded it, the more he felt inspired.
This inspiration stemmed from his vast sea of knowledge gained from the Cooter Ancestor, which he was drawing upon to figure out solutions for the situation at hand. And the more he worked on this, the more he was converting his theoretical knowledge into practical experience.
’He’s doing well.’ Eureur Pet’s mood improved the more she watched Torq improve in real time, ’It’s not just thanks to his talent and knowledge alone.’
’He has experience from before, which he’s relying upon to rapidly analyse and figure out what I’m doing just by seeing it once.’ Eureur Pet thought, ’His experience is overwhelming enough to be classified as talent.’
In a matter of hours, Eureur Pet had gone through every possible variation she could using the sphere of water, happily watching Torq keep up with her over a series of variations. ’Guess it’s time to kick things up a notch.’
The sphere of water suddenly filtered through itself, circulating in such a way all the heat within it was pushed towards the edges, causing a cone of vapour to be pushed out while a block of ice flew towards and stopped right before Torq’s face.
"With the combination of our control over water and mist, we can produce and dominate over ice too." Eureur Pet smirked as the block of ice collapsed into water and splashed upon Torq’s face. "How is it?"
"Are you having fun growing stronger?"
