Minor Treasure–Water Flow Sense!
As the names depicted, the respective Minor Treasure allowed the user to get a sense of the inner workings of wind and water flow.
When there’s a pressure difference between two regions, a wind is generated. An expansive region had multiple such locations with varying degrees of pressure differences brought about by countless weather conditions.
The Minor Treasure of Wind Flow Sense allowed its user to feel the cause behind the generation of each stream of wind.
Similarly, water flowed from a higher potential to lower potential. This was the basics. And then, you have things such as capillary rise, osmosis, etc, all of which affect a stream of water. The Minor Treasure of Water Flow Sense allowed its user to perceive the cause and effects related to water streams.
These two Minor Treasures formed the core of a Deity’s training kit, for their combination allowed an Empyrean Snapper to perceive environmental changes at a foundational level, allowing them to tap into nature’s strength while using Subtle Terrain Domination.
The greater their expertise grows, the stronger they become, to the extent they become a force of nature itself.
Runthral made contact with the Minor Treasure of Wind Flow Sense, watching it fuse into his right eye. Similarly, the Minor Treasure of Water Flow Sense fused into his left eye. His attention then fell upon the cause behind the third pillar of light in the room.
Minor Treasure–Tangible Psychokinesis!
The pillar of light generated a powerful alluring presence. However, it wasn’t capable of piercing through a solid block of stone, which is why it failed to seep past the room’s walls.
"Be careful when you rely on that Minor Treasure," Eureur pointed at the Minor Treasure of Tangible Psychokinesis, "It is extremely Prana efficient, so the more you use it, the more you’ll find yourself relying on it."
"Your task is to focus on nurturing your abilities to the limit." She warned, "Use Tangible Psychokinesis only when you have no other option left."
The Minor Treasure of Tangible Psychokinesis condenses and creates a string of Prana fuelling the power of psychokinesis. It is capable of interacting with any object, like a whip moving according to the user’s will with the ability to carry anything it comes into contact with.
It had versatile uses and was prepared specifically for an Empyrean Snapper’s use when in danger.
Runthral made contact with the Minor Treasure of Tangible Psychokinesis and felt it fuse into his heart, "Urgh!"
Immediately, he felt a mild migraine, feeling a tad thirsty and out of breath. He also felt as if hair follicles were growing on his skin with force, causing an uneasy sensation.
Of course, no hair follicle had appeared on his body, but he felt as if they were forming nonstop, giving him an itch and the urge to scratch himself.
"Your first task is to endure and adapt to the influence generated by the three Minor Treasures." Eureur said, "Once you succeed, you may begin your journey across the Tsloch Sea for training."
"If it ever becomes overwhelming, I’ll provide you with Elixirs to ease the influence on your being." She warned next, "However, remember that doing so will only prolong your training duration. Keep both the pros and cons in mind before making a decision."
"I’ll pay heed to your warning, dear mother!" Runthral bowed respectfully.
"Now, go." Eureur waved her hand in content, "I’ve already arranged everything you need here. Take some time to rest and begin your training promptly after."
"Yes, I will." Saying so, Runthral exited the living room and arrived at the entrance to the walled courtyard, watching Ongle waiting for him there.
"Please follow me," Ongle expressed excitedly, "I’ll guide you to your..."
He stopped speaking upon noticing Runthral was distracted by something else. Slowly, he faced the same direction as Runthral and noticed an individual climbing up the flight of stairs.
"Damn, he’s alive!"
"Why didn’t he get killed?"
"He must have crawled through multiple Pranic Beast rectums to reach this point." One after another, the Cooter Clansmen gathered at the side of the flight of stairs cursed Torq relentlessly.
The entire journey, they questioned the reason for his existence and expressed their puzzlement, again and again and again, as to why the heck he was still alive.
"Accompany me on my next mission, Boiboi!" One of them shouted, clearly intending to write off Torq as a martyr during the mission.
Too many expressed their intention to bring Torq on their next mission and take extreme care to ensure he could, with absolute guarantee, die without doubts. They were openly honest about their intentions.
No, they weren’t just inviting him. They were fighting for the opportunity.
"Boiboi set foot on my doorstep twice in the past. I should be given the chance to kill him."
"You? Fat chance! He sneezed at my face once. I deserve to kill him more!"
"Don’t delude yourselves! I am Boiboi’s uncle, so I am most deserving of this opportunity."
"Fuck off! If you were his uncle, why didn’t you kill him when he was born?"
"I’m not a cherished uncle..."
As the Cooter Clansmen broke into a heated argument, Torq calmly climbed up the stairs, not in the slightest affected. His attention was never on the Cooter Clansmen in the first place. Instead, he was looking up at the sky, staring at the dozen or so planets hovering far into space, ’Many of them have appeared today.’
Those worlds in the sky, far beyond the scope of Sumatra, was where the Transcendents lived. He too had spent most of his life in one of those worlds. Therefore, when more of them were visible on Sumatra, it was an indicator that something major was happening, ’Let’s hope it’s not here.’
In the previous timeline, plenty of shit was happening across the Continent. So, it could be anything, as the act of his regression resulting in nerfing Nusantara Continent’s Celestial would spark the biggest butterfly effect.
’Well, I’ll keep it in mind and worry about it later.’ Torq then focused towards the end of the flight of stairs, noticing Runthral gazing at him from the top, ’There’s a change in his presence.’
’He must have received his kit of Minor Treasures.’ He revealed a faint smile and then casually reached the peak, asking once he passed by Runthral, "How’s she?"
"Weaker," Runthral’s eyes grew moist at the words, "But don’t display it. Mother dislikes pity the most."
"I’m aware," Torq waved his hand and approached the courtyard’s entrance.
"Be...careful," Runthral hesitated for a second before whispering in caution, "You know how she reacts upon seeing you. Just don’t trigger her too much..."
"Brother," Torq turned around, eyed Runthral for a couple seconds and then motioned for the latter to shut up, "I know."
"I’m here, because for some reason, she has summoned me here." As he said so, even though he put on a brave front, Torq noticed his legs were trembling, ’This is...fear?’
He sauntered into the courtyard and noticed the double door shut behind him. A portion of the mist-covered courtyard cleared up, granting a pathway to one of the houses there. Subconsciously, he gulped in nervousness and walked towards the respective house.
If there was one individual Boiboi was absolutely terrified of, then it was the individual who had birthed him.
As he placed his hand on the door to the house, Torq noticed his hands were shivering like he had the fits, ’Be still, my hands!’
Sweat drenched his face as Torq used Mystic Mist Art to remove them and appear calm, ’Ha...ahaha...shit! I’m scared!’
