Yasmin put off the cooker and dump the burnt food into the sink not feeling hungry anymore, she can't just wrap her head around what just happened
"It's over?"
He promise her he won't go back on his words, he encourage her these while just to end things with her by sending his assistant? She thought angrily and pick up a throw pillow to squeeze in frustration and anger
Just as she is about to give it a hard squeeze she suddenly realize something and throw the pillow on the floor running to the door, she fling it open and saw his car driving away
Without thinking she run after the car trying to get him to stop but failed and fall to the ground panting hard and looking teary now
"How can he just end things with her? Not after making her fall in love with him" she thought heartbroken and finally break into painful tears on the street.

Yasmin got up very early the following morning and dress up quickly to leave the house, it's the only way she can get to see him if not she might not be able to see and talk to him
She can't go to his office either to see him and talk since it's like exposing her relationship with him to everyone.
Yasmin get into the cab she has booked yesterday and ask the driver to take to the street where he lives asking him to please speed up so they won't be late
As the car drives on Yasmin keep looking at her watch to be aware of the time she has left, years of working as his secretary yield it usefulness again
If she hasn't work for him before then she wouldn't know the time he leaves for work and which route he passes every morning
"Please drive faster" she urge the driver who only nod as he is getting extra pay
Soon they got to the location and luckily for her, his car is just coming in front of her, she quickly ask the driver to block the car and stop it from driving away
The driver hesitate a bit but do as she asked and immediately stops the car in the middle of the road stopping the other car coming from leaving
Yasmin quickly rush out of the car and hurry to the car, she went to the back seat window and knock on it calling his name
"President Black?" She called looking not too confident
The car window didn't roll down and she knock on it again yelling his name louder this time and it seems to echo through the empty road
"Please open the door" she pleaded and tug at the handle but of course the door is locked
"I need you to talk to me, I need you to look to my face and tell me it's over" she yelled angrily tugging fiercely at the handle

After a stressful night full of heartbreak and regrets, Kyler call Alex over to drive him back home from the hospital at a very early hour of the morning and after refreshing up and changing his clothes he asked him to drive him to the office even though he had advise him to take the day off and rest instead.
He planned to go to work as early as usual ti bury himself in it and take his mind off the emotional suffering but on the way a cab suddenly erupt in front of the car sending it to an forceful stop
He look up feeling infuriate at the reckless driving but didn't have time to express his anger when he saw her come out of the car, he felt his heat stumbled inwardly and his hands wavers as he clench a fist to stop the feeling
"Lock the doors" he quickly tell Alex before she could reach the car.
The first knock came on the window and Kyler's heart resist the urge to open up and pull her into a warm embrace, he clench his fist tighter and inhale sharply
Many knocks came after and soon the pull at the handle which make his heart sinks more at the sound of it and her voice yelling out for him
"What should I do sir?" Alex asked
Kyler look at the car in front of them, he can't say to drive over the car and yet he can't go out either
"Take another route" he told him and he nod slightly before igniting the car again
After some reverse and trying to avoid Yasmin who kept trying to get into the way, the car was finally able to leave with her yelling at it.

Yasmin watch the car leave and burst into painful tears, he just ignore her again without any care about her feelings
How could he change overnight? She thought in disbelief and disappointed at him
He went back on all his words, all of it without battling an eye and only her is left to bear the pain of the love they shared
"No! No i won't give up like this, i will surely get him to see me" she thought determined and go back to the cab asking the driver to take her back.

Yasmin decide to go to work and try focusing on work to take her mind off him, it's been just few days since she started work and it will be irresponsible of her to take a leave this soon, afterall she's the team leader.
She walk into the office and answer everyone who greets her with a nod before walking into her office and close the door behind her then bury her head on the desk trying not to shear tears.

As the door get close, Alisa get up from her seat to Rebecca's seat and diver her attention from the work she's doing
"Did you think something happen to her today? Her face doesn't look good?"
"I suppose everyday is not Christmas for her" Rebecca answered
"Maybe she had a fight with Mr. Bays?" Harvey chip in turning his chair to face the ladies
"I don't think that's it" Alisa said thinking
"She seems to be in a bad mood, she didn't even notice my handsome face" Brad told them and they all turn to his direction
"Maybe she's just not in a mood for silly talks and more of work?" Linda said swivel her chair to face them with a disapprove stare
"Don't you all have your tables full?" She said again and everyone turn back returning to their works.

After sulking for a while Yasmin finally pick up herself and open her PC then pull the files on her table to herself to start the day's work she has already wasted much time doing nothing.
After sometime, she phone Harvey to come over and he did few seconds after with a smile
"You ask for me?"
"Yes, why haven't we received a go ahead from Black Corporation to start the project?"
"I am not sure but we haven't receive the mail from them, I want to give it few days before sending a message to them"
"Well it can't be delayed I will just go there myself to ask for it"
And also hope for a chance to see him during her little excuse visit to the company
"Please don't bother ma'am, you've already done a good job securing the deal you should the menial works to us"
"It's no bother at all, instead visit the owners once more" she told him and he nodded before leaving the office.

It was late than Yasmin thought when she finally finish all the work she needed to do in the office giving her less time to go to Black corporation
But she didn't give up yet and hail down a cab to take get there as soon as she step out of the ARON building
In no time she was in front of the company and inhale trying to gain her confident before taking a step inside, this time she is determined not to let him escape no matter what.
She first go to the other business she had come for and went to visit the strategic team to ask the reason for the delay in getting a go ahead and starting the projects.

Kyler tried to bury himself in much work as possible and not only his look suffered from this but his eyes also as he kept straining them regardless of it tiredness
He piled up a whole paperwork in front of him with many documents which he might not need pending to in the next three days and decide to work all them all in just one day
Anything at all, just anything to keep him occupied not to think or miss her, he has abruptly end things with her not giving a care for her feelings
It will be so cruel of him to think of het ever again, he mustn't think of her or anything related to her except he want to go back to his past again
He has promise himself to not to have broken marriage and also promise to be with Veronica for better and for worse on an altar in presence of everyone
He has broken the vows and promises when he first had a drunken sex with her and do it again conscious but now he have to make everything right again....even if it hurts so hard.
Alex knock on the door and come in after getting his response, he gasp at the works on his table and sigh
"Miss. Cassidy is here" he told him and he look up from the work like he just got a shocking news
"What?" He frown his face angrily
"She came to get something regarding the new project but I feel i should inform you just in case"
"Make sure she doesn't get to this floor" he said looking agitate
"She's on this floor already" he reveal and his anxiety grow more
"Stop her from coming here....be harsh if need be" he told him and Alex nod his head before leaving.

Yasmin try to get to his office bit she was ask off by Alex who seems to have been expecting her, of course he's the big boss he already knew she's in the building
She decide to leave quietly not to embarrass herself and cause a nuisance to others work then leave the building.
But she didn't really leave but lurk around and wait despite the long hour for him to finish and drive out
Yasmin waited four long hours for his car to drive out and her legs almost give up in her heels shoes if she knew she was going to be standing so long today maybe she would've gave worn a heels and rather put on something more comfortable.
The car she is waiting for finally appear and she rush in front of it to stop the car from escaping this time, there is no other route to leave than this one path after all
When she is sure the car stopped she walk closer but didn't leave the front of the car to avoid it escaping again
From the windscreen Yasmin could see him sitting in the car and looking straightly at her without looking away, when she is sure she have his attention she speak out
"I don't want to end things with you" she said aloud tears already in her eyes
"I can't understand why I should just accept what you said and think of everything that happened as void and nothing"
"I still remember everything clearly and I'm sure you do too, I don't know if it difficult for you to think of it as if it never happened but i can't, no! I won't...so please...come talk to me" she pleaded breaking down.

Kyler watch from the car and couldn't bring himself to get out of the car to meet her, it's like temptation presenting itself in front of him and to resist it he shouldn't make a physical contact with it
"Why should I do President Black?' Alex asked turning back to him
"I will go" he said and open the door
He should just do this and end it once and after all, he has dealt with many difficult business partners and this shouldn't be different, he thought as he walk to her
He stop on front of her and got a clearer view of her face and almost lost his determination but look away for a second to regain himself
"How much compensation do you need?" He blurt out
"What?"
"You didn't expect me to to leave my wife and come to you, did you?"
"Whatever we had was just a spice of the moment and it's gone, I will appreciate it if you would stop being so annoying clinch Miss. Cassidy" he told her coldly and brought out the check he gave yesterday
"Take this, you might need it" he said and took her hand to give it to her then walk back to the car

Yasmin move away for the car to pass and stare in a daze not moving away from the spot as the car disappears, more tears flooded her eyes and it came rushing down hot.
