" Fucking STOP!!"
I slapped hard across his face. The whole world became silent so much that I could feel the burn in my hands. Did I just slap the president of this whole nation?
Reality knocked me hard but the truth was different. I didn't want him to kiss me because I was afraid of falling for him. Each day with him was becoming a torture for me. I shouted at his face, hot angry tears rolling down from my cheeks,
" If you need to fuck someone, just go and fuck your fiancee. I am not your toy!!"
Then I pushed him away angrily before running outside. He didn't try to stop me which I appreciated. Perhaps I sounded like a jealous girlfriend but his fiancee was getting on my nerves. For the first time, I cried alone in a corner, hiding from everyone after a long passing years.

I haven't met him ever since I slapped hard. I was instructed to live in the mansion until I was fully recovered. Now that he was missing for a whole day, guilt washed over me. It was also my fault that I let him kiss me.
Coming downstairs, I spotted Daniel who was playing on the couch. At least, there was someone to talk with. He waved at me as soon as he saw me on the stairs,
" Oh..Hi Iris! I thought, you were sleeping. I didn't want to disturb you!"
I smiled, occupying the position next to him,
" I am fine now! Where's Mr.President?"
Thankfully, Daniel didn't notice the shyness in my voice. After the rough sex we had, I couldn't bring myself to talk about him easily. Daniel replied with a shrug, his eyes still focusing on the screen of his game,
" Don't ask! He has gone with that crazy girl, Petra. His father is in town. He is probably back to interfere with his life again. He took Petra to meet his parents."
A bitter feeling surrounded my heart immediately. Didn't he say that their marriage was arranged? Did he finally start accepting Petra?
I couldn't stop myself from making these speculations.Obviously I wasn't in the position to question his decision but I felt sore in my heart. Did I really start to have feelings for Xavier Gray?
Even though I didn't want this, my eyes occasionally drove to the clock. It was already twelve past at night. I wondered why didn't they come back yet?

" XAVIER!! Are you even listening?? When are you going to marry, Petra?"
The whole dinner table felt like a military camp. Everyone was eating without making a noise. My father was always the man who liked everyone in control. Sending Petra to the country was entirely his plan. Even though he didn't admit it yet, his behaviors said the same.
My sister, Rose and my mother were silent as always. Rose had long started ignoring my father because she believed that he didn't do his duty as a father. Pressing the napkin on my lips, I replied absentmindedly,
" I will think about it!"
My father looked hopeless after my answer. He just came back to the country after the whole rumours of dating. Petra couldn't stop grinning next to me. Ever since we were a child, she was practically obsessed with me.
Honestly I never thought of bringing her to my family dinner. All I did was because I wanted to avoid Iris Young. She had become a sinful poison for me. I wasn't angry about the slap. I was angry with myself because I couldn't control myself around her. It was me who proposed the fake dating matter but I broke the rules first. I kissed her! Like fuck! She wasn't my real girlfriend!
My father's voice interrupted my thoughts again, low and commanding,
" Also clear the mess with the secretary soon. I don't want Petra's father to distrust my words. I am a man of words. You know that, Xavier!"
I clenched my jaw hard in anger. It was my marriage, my life yet he was making all the decisions. I could have retorted him but my respect for him had stopped me from doing that. Skipping the question, I sat up to leave, Petra also followed me like a leech,
" I should go now, father!"
His expression fell as soon as I started leaving the mansion. Petra chased behind me but I didn't even bother to shoot her a glance. She took the next spot as soon as I got in my car. I asked her coldly, buckling the seatbelts,
" What are you doing here? Don't you want to go home?"
Their house was in a completely different direction from my mansion. I couldn't understand why she was following me all the time. Petra replied with a pout, faking her dramatic tears,
" My parents aren't here, Xavier! How can you drive me away? I will live where you live. We are going to be a couple soon, Xavier! Don't you remember how we used to play as husband and wife in our childhood?"
I rolled my eyes at her words. She was fucking Twenty yet she couldn't get the damn fact that we were children back then. I didn't say anything to rebuke her. Petra wasn't only childish but stubborn as well. If she said that she wanted to live with me, there was no going back.
After an hour of driving, we reached our mansion. As we entered to see, Daniel was sprawling across the couch. He was asleep and Iris was nowhere to be seen. I ordered the maid to prepare a room for Petra where she felt offended,
" Xavier! I can't believe..you are actually letting me sleep in a different room? We are going to be a couple..how can you..."
I cut her off sharply, loosing my patience finally,
" Either you live in a separate room or go back to your house, Petra!"
Petra's face fell as she puffed her cheeks to cry. Ignoring her another drama, I strode upstairs to go to my own room. Secretly I wanted Iris to be there but there was no one when I opened the door.
As her thoughts always clouded my mind, I couldn't fall asleep at night. Even I failed to realize that I was burning up slowly. Almost at midnight, the door of my bedroom cracked open slowly. It surprised me a little bit because no one entered without permission.
Faint footsteps began to approach my bed. Before I could react, I felt a small hand on my forehead. I blinked, prying open my eyes to see Iris sitting. She looked surprised as well as if she didn't expect me to be awake. She mumbled shyly, her eyes dropping down,
" I heard that you are burning. I just...came to check..Do you need any medicine?"
Suddenly I felt angry to see her concern. Growling softly, I told her coldly,
" Why do you fucking care? Just leave and hide at your place! I am bad man."
She replied stubbornly, a tight frown appeared between her temples,
" I am not going anywhere until your fever is gone! Tell me what medicine you need?"
I opened my eyes groggily to see her genuine concern. It never made me happy before today. Pulling her down to my chest, I replied in a sensual voice, already feeling hot by her slim figure,
" You are the only medicine that I need, Iris! I think, I just need you to reduce this fever!"
