“These are the files containing the new upcoming project,” Betty drops a fat blue folder on the table. “I think the architect will be done with the design next month.”
I stared at the table absentmindedly, my mind filled up with the image of last night. I still couldn’t get the sound of her moan out of my head, the need to possess her made me groan.
“Are you alright sir?” I heard Betty ask, but I refuse to spare her my time.
“Aziz?” her tone sounded worried. “Is everything alright?” I looked up to see her frowning in front of me.
“I am fine, you can leave now,” I dismissed her, but she refuses to leave.
Betty moved around my table and came to stand behind me, her hand slid down my chest. Her hand teased my nipple as she nipped at the hollow of my neck with her teeth, and I felt so good but not satisfied.
I couldn’t tell how she got there, but the feel of her lip on mine brought me out of my thought. This is the first time I won’t feel sexual pleasure in the middle of sex, and I know why that is happening.

I tried to focus on the woman in front of me only to end up seeing her while staring at Betty.
“I think you should stop now,” I stood up from my seat, and watch as a shade of red stained her cheek.

“It is time we separate business and pleasure,” her eyes widened at my word.

“You should find a man that would treat you the way you want because you won’t get that from me anymore,” I told her. “Henceforth, the only relationship you and I will share will be professional.”
“Aziz…” she wanted to say something but shut her mouth, tears brimming in her eyes.
“Let this be the last time you will address me by my name,” I said harshly.
“How did I let things get to this point? We should have been nothing more than a boss and his employee. I had let my dick decide what I want when I should have let my brain make the decision.
I stood up from my seat and made my way out of my office but stopped when I got to the door.
“I understand if you don’t want to continue working here anymore because of this, I would accept your resignation anytime you are ready and make sure you are given a huge bonus for all the years you’ve been working-”
“I love you,” she yelled, and I whipped my head to look at her.
“What did you say?” my eyes brimmed with so much anger.
“I love you, Aziz,” she repeated. “I have always been in love with you from the first day I saw you.
“And when we had sex for the first time that night, I couldn’t stop myself from falling deeply.” She looked up at me. “It's why I never had a relationship with any other-
“Get rid of it,” I snapped. “You knew from the start that I don’t do love or emotions, so you should get rid of it as fast as you can.”
“Aziz, I-” the word had barely left her mouth when my hand wrapped around her throat.
“Say my name once again and you will rue the day you were born,” I yelled at her face.
Her body trembled and her eyes darted around the office for a way to escape. I pull my hand away from her neck and stepped away.
“I see we can no longer work together,” I looked at her, but she looked away. “I will have you transferred to our branch in Argentina.”
She nods her head quickly and scurried out of the office.
No sooner had she left than Aziz pushed the table with such force that it crashed to the floor with a loud banging. His fist tightens over his seat and memories flash through his head.
“I love you,” she whispered to him, and he had been foolish to think she was being truthful.
The way she smiled at him like he was the entire world to her, her sensual curve as she let him take her to a peak of no return, as she screamed his name. The addictive moan that slid out of her mouth as he thrust into her with wild abandon.
God! How had he been foolish to not know? He had worn his heart on his sleeve, gave it to her willingly, and she smashed it to pieces.
He gritted his teeth at the memory. She had created this beast that he had become, and he had no intention of going back. One day, he would meet her and kill her with his hand.
He would give himself the pleasure of watching life seep out of her eyes as she had watched when he was in the same position, he would soon put her into. But first, he would make sure to bend her and make her wish for death.
That was a promise he would keep even to himself.
Gritting his teeth one last time, he picks up his phone and dialled his PA number. The phone rang for a few minutes before stopping.
“Book me a ticket to California.” He ordered.
