Lamar wouldn't stop talking about how sexy Lexi is, and Aziz was gradually losing his patience.
He wanted nothing more than to grab his neck and teach him a good Lexi until he abhors the mention of her name.
“Are you listening Aziz, I want to ask Lexi out on a date,” Lamar smiled, and that was the last straw for Aziz.
He stood up from his table and walked towards him, his hand itching to grab his muscled neck and strangle it, but mother nature had other plans.
The soft rap on the door halted his movement, and Lexi popped her head into the room.
“Aziz,” he closed his eyes and felt his anger dissolve into smokes.
“Father wants you in the dining room,” she informed him and was about to shut the door when he called her name.
“is there anything you want?”
Lamar stood up from where he was seating and walked to the door. “I will be waiting for you beautiful,” his voice was loud enough for Aziz to hear.
Lexi giggled and bobbed her head in response, while Aziz looked on. She was still busy giggling at Lamar who keeps winking at her as he descends the stair when she felt herself being dragged forward.
“What the fu-” he placed his hand over her mouth, his eyes red.
“What the fuck did I tell you?” He asked her, his eyes roaming her face.
“Let me go, Aziz,” she whispered and his lip descended in her the next moment.
He kissed her hard and bit her lip when she refused to open up to him, she gasped and he took the chance to slide his tongue into her mouth.
Lexi found herself kissing him just as much, her hand delved into his soft hair and pulled him closer.
Their tongue danced sensually, and neither of them want to stop. His hand crept over her stomach until it rested just below her breast.
“You are mine Lexi, mine alone,” he growled against her lip. "If you don't want me to have blood on my hand, then stop getting close to any other man apart from me."
“Will you stop getting close to Cora then?” She couldn't stop herself from asking.
“Is that what you want?” He looked at her, lust swirling in those green eyes of his.
She bobbed her head at him and he smiled. "Then I will stop getting close to her," he pressed himself to her and she gasped at the bulge he is spotting there.
“You will be the death of me,” he claimed her lips once more and took his time to explore her mouth.

He brought his hand to his mouth and cleaned it off while staring into her eyes.
"I am sure you won't want a repeat of that in front of the whole family?" She negatively nods her head. "Then stay away from Lamar or any other man in the house."
Words failed her so she responded with her head, he placed her down and straightened her skirt, and she helped him put his hair back in place.
Just then a knock sounded on the door, and Cora walked in without waiting for an answer.
"Aziz-"
"Let's go, Lexi," he took her hand in his, and walked out of the room, leaving Cora fuming in anger.
"What took you so long?" His father asked, staring at the two of them.
"Lexi hurt her foot," was all he said before settling on a chair.
"Are you okay baby?" Daphne cooed.
"I'm fine now, Aziz already helped me suppress the pain," she smiled at her mother and was going to sit on the chair next to Aziz when Cora pushed her out of the way.
"Come sit here beautiful," Lamar called. I have already reserved a seat for you beside me.
Aziz shot her a warning, and she scoffed at him before walking over to sit beside Lamar
The food was served, and everyone dig in. Everything was almost perfect until Cora decided to fawn over Aziz like her husband, she picks up everything for him and even went as far as wiping the corner of his mouth with a napkin.
Lexi gripped her spoon tightly, staring at Aziz, who did nothing to stop her.
“Here darling,” Lamar cooed, bringing the glass of water to her lip.
Aziz snapped his gaze to her, silently warning her about his words earlier. Just then, Cora got up to pick up a bottle of wine, shoving her breast into his face, and still, he did nothing. He just kept staring at her.
She averted her gaze and turn to smile at Lamar. “Thanks, love,” she winked.
Lamar faked a gasp; he held his chest before gripping her hand. “Is that a, yes? Does that mean you would let me take you out on a date tomorrow?”
Lexi frowned at his words; this wasn’t their deal. “What are you-” she was saying when Lamar gripped her hand tightly.
Wanting to scold him, she looked into his face and he winked at her, accompanied by a smile and a subtle nod. She sighed in relief when she realizes he was only acting, and from the corner of her eyes she could see Aziz's grip tightened on the glass in his hand.
“My love?” Lamar nudges her.
She shook her head a little, a smile playing on her lip. Lamar had a death wish for him to keep pushing Aziz's button even though he knew very much the kind of person he is.
“Yes,” she squealed and he pulled her into a hug. The shattering sound of glass pulled them apart and she took her gaze to Aziz, his hand was bleeding from gripping the glass too hard until it cracked.
“Are you alright?” Daphne directed the question to him and he stood up from his seat, Cora got up too, holding onto his hand and Lexi scoffed.
Talk about a complete whore…
“I am fine,” he said, without taking his gaze away from her. He stared at her for a second before walking away from the dining, with Cora on his heel.
He stopped abruptly and turned to glare at her. “What do you want?” he yelled at her and she flinched.
“I-I… I just wanted to make sure you are alright,” she stuttered.
“Do I look like a kid?” he snapped. “Did I tell you I can’t take care of myself? Stop being clingy and let me breathe,” he stormed off, leaving her standing there speechless with tears brimming in her eyes.
Lexi and Lamar chuckled, they turn their attention to their food and continue eating. Cora walked to her seat and glared at Lexi, she knew Aziz cut his hand because of her and she vowed to make her life a living hell.
“Is something going on between the two of you?” she suddenly asked, staring between Lamar and Lexi.
“I wanted to ask the same thing but I didn’t want to be too forward,” Tania asked, she turned to her brother. “Balthas dear, why don’t we arrange a date for the two of them, seeing as they already like each other?”
Daphne opened her mouth to speak but Cora cut her short. “Mother is right… we shouldn’t delay anymore, maybe we can arrange their marriage in the next two months.”
“Who is getting married?” The sound of footfall resonated in the room, and they all turned to look at Aziz. He stopped beside Cora and pulled out his seat, placing his bandaged hand on the table.
“Mother and I thought about Lamar’s proposal and we decided to organize a special date for them and even fixed their wedding to two months,” Cora smirked.
Aziz resisted the urge to glance at Lexi. “Is that so?” he asked.
“Yes, and I think we should start picking-”
“I wasn’t speaking to you,” he snapped at her.
“But-”
“You seem to be eager to get me married so quickly,” Lexi decide she had enough of her trash. “I wonder if you are doing this because you want to get me out of the way?” she stared at Cora intently.
“What do you mean?”
“I should be the one to ask you that… I don’t understand why you are obsessed with me marrying Lamar if you have no ulterior motive… like wanting to get close to Aziz and end up marrying him.”
“What nonsense is your daughter spewing?” Tania stood up forcefully, turning to yell at daphne.
“You have the nerve to blame her when your daughter keeps running her mouth about our children,” Reina turns on her, and her mouth slackens.
“THAT IS ENOUGH!” Balthas yelled, slamming his hand on the table.
“I would not have you turn my house into a battleground,” he thundered. “And you, Tania, bristle your child's tongue.”
He turned around, pulled his fiancé from her seat, and left the dining room.
“Lamar, I believe you are sleeping in Aziz's room?” Reina smiled at her son.
“Yes,” he returned her smile and she leaned down to kiss his cheek, she kissed both Aziz and Lexi, before pulling her daughter and walking out of the room.
Aziz stood up next, he glared at Cora and Tania before turning his glare to Lexi. She got out of her seat before he could say a word and rushed into her room.
He sighed and walked into her room, with Lamar behind him.
“Mother,” Cora whined, and Tania pulled her into a hug.
“He is already yours my darling, just trust your mother and everything will be alright.”
