"No! Don't involve any police. She's just going through emotional stress or something. I will find her." Damien spoke and left the room.
'I shouldn't involve myself into this. But I can't stay and watch my secretary dying.' Damien thought.
Damien sighed as soon as he got out of the hospital.
Where did his secretary go to? Where is he going to find her?
He took out his phone and dialed one of her friend's number which he'd collected hours ago. Both Chloe amd Anita's number.
"Is this Anita?" He knitted his brows waiting for an answer.
"Yes. This is Anita. Who am I speaking with?" She drawled. Her voice sounds like a tired one.
"It's Damien. Kimberly's Boss."
"Oh my! The hot angel....sorry, I know you're looking for Kimberly but I don't think she's in her right mind to see anyone." She responded.
"Why? Is she there? I came to the hospital to check her only to find out that she escaped. Is she kidding me? How can she leave in that her condition?" His voice was a bit bitter.
"She's not with me nor Chloe's place. I know where she is. It's her favorite place."
"Favor......fine. Just tell me the place."
Favorite place? He'd never had a favorite again since that bad incident not to talk of where he love most.
"Okay, I will text you the place. But I'm advising you to give her some space to get herself back. Apart from what happened today, she has been through so much hell in the past. Within a day or two, she will be back to the cheerful Kimberly we know."
"Thanks for telling me this, Anita. I appreciate." Damien said and the line went dead.
He took a deep breath and entered his car, just as he ignited the car, Anita's message popped in and Damien saw the address.
The beach?!
"F*ck! It's Greenland Beach?! No! No! I don't wanna go there. I don't want to take that road not to talk of going to the beach." He shook his head vigorously and drove out of the building.
He held the steering tight and he drive till he got home.
He's going to pass this one. There's no way he's going there. No.
He has done enough for her. Isn't it?
Damien walked to his bedroom and lay his aching back in the bed.
Staring around the room was awkward. He's the only one in the house. No one to talk to.
Damien alone take care of his house. He'd rather do everything than employ a maid. Not because he can't pay any salary bit he feels he can do something without anybody's help.
His mind went back to his secretary.
How's she doing with the bandage on her body?
He felt very relieved and happy for the first time when he heard that she's awake.
Not because he like her or she's his secretary but because he didn't want what happened to him in the past, happen again right in his very own eyes.
Sometimes, Damien did check himself in the mirror and think very hard.
'How was he able to survive? How? It was a miracle.'

Kimberly sat on the sand and drew meaningless things on it. She draw and clean. Draw and clean.
"I hate you, Nathan!" She has been saying that since she came here without stopping.
Her head has been aching but she's ignoring it. Her ball gown has been shredded into pieces.
What's the need of wearing a wedding gown when there's no weddong?
Most of her wedding accessories were gone before she got to the beach.
She kept removing and throwing them angrily.
The only thing in her body was the shredded wedding gown, necklace and earrings.
Her ruined makeup made her look like a revengeful ghost. Her mascara mixed with tears and flowing down her cheeks.
"Hey, girl! What are you doing here all alone with no body?" A man walked up to her and sat beside her.
"Nothing! Do you need anything?" She asked, glaring holes at him.
"No, I don't need anything. Just decided to keep you company since you're alone here. You look like someone who just got betrayed by a guy. Am I right?"
"Yeah. That's right. And I will love to be alone now." Kimberly told him sternly.
She needn't any guy around her right now. She just need space. Big space. She really need to clear her head.
"Okay, lady. If you need me, I'm not far from you. You know, you might need a one night stand with a guy to clear your head or something. I'm available." The man grinned and touched her red cherry lips.
Kimberly slapped his hand off and glared more at him.
"I'm not a slut you think I am. And I don't go around sleeping with guys. So, don't trespass your boundary here. I should have know you're senseless before talking to you." She rolled her eyes and got up from the sand.
"Go to hell! You men are the same." She spat before walking away.
Kimberly didn't know where to go. She didn't want to go home at the moment. It'd be better staying here at the beach till evening then, she'd go home.

"Sir, I brought the documents you asked me to bring. Anything you need before I go?" Sarah, one of Damien's workers spoke as she adjusted her mini skirt in front of him.
This isn't just the first she's doing this. In fact, Damien already f*cked her so many times. She's the only office slut in the company. And very cunning.
Damien understood whatever signal she's trying to give but he wasn't in the mood for that.
"Sarah, can you not do this today? I'm not in the mood for that." He stated matter-of-factly.
"Okay, I understand. But I can't remember when last we had sex. Two months, I think." She flipped her red hair back.
"What's wrong?" She added.
"Sarah, I don't have anything to say to you. Like I said, I only call you when I need you. For now, back to the boss and worker we are. You can leave. I don't have anything to do with you now." Damien didn't look up.
After so much awkward silence, Sarah took her bag and left his mansion.
Just as she left, he checked his wristwatch.
It was 8pm in the night. Is Kimberly at home already or still outside all in the name of giving herself space.
He'd wanted to go to that beach but he just can't.
