This truly is a day that makes me both nervous and inexplicably excited.
The importance of a launch for every author is self-evident.
It determines whether you’ll be eating gruel or feasting on delicacies today.
As everyone knows, I am a Qidian author who survives by writing postscripts.
Someone once said, if the platinum god selection was based solely on postscript caliber, I’d undoubtedly be platinum.
I think he was clearly belittling me.
Judging by my postscript caliber, I should win the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Now let me begin my performance.

Let us rewind to more than a year ago, to the day my old book "I Really Didn’t Want to Be a Savior" just launched.
With 4,000 bookmarks at launch, the first subscriptions were 300.
Frankly, it was a nightmare.
Especially after experiencing three back-to-back book pauses, and then writing another book with only 300 initial subscriptions, the feeling is hard to describe.
This caused me to have strong doubts about my creative abilities.
Of course, before unveiling the mystery, everyone harbors unnecessary expectations, commonly known as not giving up until reaching the Yellow River or shedding tears at the coffin.
But when the 300 initial subscription number came out, I didn’t even cry; I was even relieved—it was 100 more than the death line of 200 in my mind, as if it were okay.
Then I picked myself up, writing while contacting former colleagues and friends at work, preparing a fallback plan. I planned to return to an environmental research position, contributing to China’s green hills and clear waters, and supporting my family through my former job.
At the time, I had no expectations about achievements or anything, just wanted to finish writing "The Savior," the last online novel of my life, tell the last story, and have no regrets.
Really, I had given up hope, even believing I had been eliminated by the times, unsuitable for today’s online literature industry.
But who knew it would rise again in the end!
Galaxy Award, Twelve Kings, we made it.
Twenty thousand average subscriptions, theoretically one of the highest peaks of hard science fiction in web literature, within reach.
Life is truly amazing; turning points often occur inadvertently.
Now the average subscriptions for "The Savior" have reached over nineteen thousand, just a step away from twenty thousand!
From 300 initial subscriptions to twenty thousand average subscriptions, it’s a miracle.
But miracles do not favor the unprepared.
Only then did I realize that I had accumulated so much already.
Turns out, readers now are so endearing.
So, this miracle simultaneously tells me again that I can do it.
My readers can do it too.
Readers who are moved by me wouldn’t just lurk on piracy sites, freeloading without being willing to spend ten bucks a month to support me.
It is because you gathered here from all corners, offering your support through subscriptions, that saved my creative career.
I hereby express my sincere gratitude.
Having been rekindled by "The Savior," which rose from obscurity, this creative passion will not cool easily.
"The Savior" will definitely not be my last step, nor should it become the pinnacle of my life.
Now, with more careful preparation, more mature writing skills, hiding my bigger ambitions, I want to charge toward another peak with "Resurrection Empire."
I want to use my hands, in this era, to prove that work created with heart, portrayed with emotion, and touching articles still have a market, and such books will still be loved.
I want to prove that things which deeply combine science fiction and online literature will certainly gain the recognition of Chinese science fiction literature enthusiasts.
