We continued our discussion as we waited, learning more about one another and reaching new understandings about what the store should do going forwards to attract new customers, though there was little to be learned there considering discounts and cheaper pricing was doing the bulk of the heavy lifting.

Now it was her turn to wave me off as she tapped both Ehretia and Ipoala in the brow, leaving us be in the grass and making her way to the front of the compound where our newest permanent residents stood, waiting for her.
This place was going to get really cramped very soon, though whether that was a good or bad thing was something I was entirely unsure of... but I did know that there were things that needed to be done here and now instead of just thinking of the future.
Like playing with these two energetic and adorable daughters or mine who would be severely missed when I was away; despite ’reprimanding’ Aethisia about her somewhat lackluster attempt at parenting her own children I realized I still knew little about it myself since this would be the first time I had to leave them behind even just for a little while.
I can’t even begin to imagine the sort of things that my own Dama must have felt when she had to go on those patrols that took weeks, or what sort of things she felt when she came home to me growing despite her absence.
