Unexpectedly, Desmond nodded and said, “I know.”
“HUH?”Helga turned her head with widen eyes. “WHAT?”
“I know who they are. But, it doesn’t matter since my axe accepted them.”
“Ah, I see. The axe of judgement must be sense something… How can I forgot about it?” Helga feel her shoulder gotten lighter.
As if someone already take the burden that weighed her for all the time. She feeling glad that she choose to talk with her brother rather than keeping it by herself. “I’m relieved then. Actually, I’m afraid that you get disappointed if I didn’t tell you this sooner.”
Desmond laughed for a bit, “I do some background check on them.”
“Did you mean Gregorio?” Helga asked because she knew that Desmond is not that patient enough to reading through one page of paper.
“It doesn’t make any differences, Helga. I know it from the first week and tried to tested them. But, the only lie they ever told was about their ‘fake’ sister.”
“What? So, does that mean..”
“Yes, they are sincerely help us. That’s why I choose to trust them.”
“Why? Why did they do that? They barely know us!”
Desmond put his left hand under his chin, “Say, Helga. Do kindness ever need a reason?”
The blue-eyed woman stare at her brother before she shifted her gaze to the forest ahead. After an indefinite time, Helga found her voice, “They are, indeed, a good people.“
“I got a feeling that they will make a confession after this project was over. When the time is come let’s just play dumb.”
Helga’s eyes sparkling brightly and giggling, “I see! I will make them feel miserable!”
“Anyway, talking about the suspicious person, the one who work at restaurant is make me uncomfortable.”
“You? Uncomfortable? More importantly, with Callisto? You are barely talk with him!” Helga almost drop her jaw when heard that.
It’s so rare to see her brother to feeling like that to a weak boy who look like he can passed out in anytime.
“He didn’t look as weak as he seems. I wont surprised if someday he told me that he is a great magician who can turned the world upside down or a serial killer who ran away from the prison.”
“You are exaggerating! Beside, I can’t sense any magic power within him.”
Desmond stood from his seat. He doing some stretching when said, “But, I can’t drop my guard around him. Well, I want to go home first.”
“Ah, I will stay here from a moment. My senior in academy is here. I don’t want to meet her again. Beside, she is Cecil’s aunt.”
“Oh? I see. Then, see you later.”
Helga nodded and watching his brother’s back who look smaller before he completely disappeared from her sight. She buried her face on her lap, “Haa, should I spied on that pale boy?”

“My! This is so cold but cool!” Grant said when he entered the Ice Castle.
Five strong, round towers are both a defensive and decoration aspect of this elegant castle and are connected by a fairly low, massive walls made of the sturdy ice brick.
Refined windows are scattered generously around th walls in seemingly perfect symmetry. A great gate made from ice fence greet them with superior vibes. Even this castle was built recently, Grant is convinced that this can stood for ages to come.
The floor wasn’t slipperry as he thought and his eyes was captivating by the elegant interior. It’s almost the same with another castle, but it’s shining so brightly as if this place was made from crystal.
The ornamental chandelier is hanging above his head. Rather than fire, the crystal chandelier was enveloped by magic that can light up the whole castle.
“Seem Krueger’s magic is getting better.” Kaleela said when they are going upstairs.
This three-story building make her feels like she was an ice princess. From the windows, she can see the whole town and the forest which covered with white snow. “It’s so beautiful.”
“Crimson, why did this place have so many doors?” Grant asked when they passed so many corridor. Each corridor have six ice crystal doors which already engraved with number.
“We will made this place as an inn, as well. Don't worry, the rooms are warm and comfortable enough to sleep in. If you want to stay the night, please tell me.” Said the snowman with red scarf when they almost reached the last door that connected to the rooftop.
A snowman with black bow tie guard the door and smiled faintly when saw them. “Hello, Crimson.”
“Hello, Blackie! We finally have a guest!”
“I see.” Then he saw to the couple and bowed, “Blackie is on you service. I wish you enjoy your trip in Ice Castle.”
“Ah, thank you.” Kaleela said while Blackie open the door behind him.
The rooftop having a transparent barrier which protected the from the snow falling. For some reason, this place feel warmer than before.
A thin fog appeared in the middle of this place. When they approached, it was a hot spring with a long wooden bench beside it!
“You can soak your feet while sitting in this bench. Please take off your shoes before enter the spring.”
“Whoa! The view is so beautiful from here.” Grant said when he sit on the bench.
Kaleela agreed. His feet were relaxed after take a long walk. “Whoever think about this, is a genius.”
“I’m glad you like it, Madam. We know that it must be feel uncomfortable for several people to showing off the feet.
That’s why we only let one family to enter this place for one hour. If they want to add another hour, they have to queue again for the next day or until this place has empty.”
“Then, what if someone complaining or making some ruckus?” Grant asked with curiosity.
Crimson’s peeble eyes shining so bright as if he was waiting for that question,“That’s why Blackie is here! He is a strong fighter and able to freeze anyone who made him angry. He is so cool, isn't it?
Oh, perhaps I should display the frozen people on lobby, so no one dared to disobey the rules? Hmm. What should I do?”
Kaleela and Grant exchanged a glance and wondered if this place will be doing okay…
