It's been a week since I started working as Creed's assistant secretary.
I will admit that it is difficult to be an Assistant Secretary, especially without Creed's secretary. I take over as his personal secretary. Always a reporter if there is a schedule, go with where Creed is going. The hard part was every night and going home at six in the morning. I'm on a short night shift.
Lately, I heard that Creed's Secretary has resigned because she can't do the night job anymore. So it means I'm Creed's secretary. There is no assistant.
But even so, I still don't neglect my brother, especially my health. It's not like in the morning when I go home, I'll be able to let go of my health and that of my brother.
Creed is very serious when it comes to work. Apart from being the Mayor, Creed has other jobs as if his time is divided. When I heard in the morning that Creed was working as the CEO of his family company. He is the heir so he is very busy. And since he’s a vampire, expect him not to come out of his company building until the sun goes down.
And at night he takes care of the City. He finds out if there are problems in the city or not. As in I can say he is a perfect example of a good Mayor. He can divide his time. But I'm concerned to his health. I noticed as little as if he ate. The last time we ate together, he only ate one spoon when someone called him.
And yes, it's rare for us to talk. I mean we're not very close but I see him as my friend as well.
"Ms. Quatre, any report?" He asks without looking at me.
"You have a meeting to Mr. Guanzon later 5 PM--"
"Cancel all of my appointment." He said and look at me.
"Okay." I just said.
"And by the way ... Are you free tonight?" I look at him. He looks serious.
"Yes sir--"
"I said stop calling me Sir." He said lazily.
"Yes." I repeat. He's my boss so I just have to respect him! Abnormal Creed.
"Come with me to dinner. You'll be out later. You'll be home early." He said and motioned for me to leave.
I walked out of his office. I returned to my seat and closed my eyes.
Shit I'm dizzy again.
I took a deep breath then relaxed for a while. After a while, I felt like I was a woman, so I immediately took my white handkerchief and sneezed.
I feel like I'm getting a cold.
I was about to put my handkerchief back in my pocket when I realized it had a stain.
Why is there blood?
"What the hell is happening to you?" I looked behind me when someone spoke. It's Creed. He looked at me as if worried.
"W-what are you doing here--"
"I smell some blood so I followed the smell." He said and snatched my white handkerchief which now has a stain.
"You're nose is bleeding." He said and wiped my nose. I swallowed.
"Maybe in the heat of the weather earlier." I said and averted my eyes.
"Tsk. That's why I hate sun." He said.
"Stand up. We're going to eat." He said that's why I look at him.
"Huh?"
"I said get up and we'll eat." He says.
"But maybe mom--"
"Come home early to rest." He says.
"But there's still a day outside." I said. he averted his gaze. I know vampires are afraid of the sun.
"But you need to eat and rest." He said and bowed. my forehead wrinkled.
"But--"
"Fine. I'll just order food for us." He said seriously then scolded me.
I was about to speak when he suddenly disappeared like a bubble in front of me. I was just slapped on the head. Teleportation.
Because I was an obedient secretary, I just followed Creed to his office. I saw him there fixing his office with a janitor. He prepared a table and two chairs for the two of us.
We're just going to eat but why does it seem like the effort? The Janitor left and the exact time he left was when the food arrived.
"You're 5 minutes late." It said to the deliverer.
"Sorry sir, there's the traffic--"
"So it's my fault if traffic? Get loss." He said and snatched the two foods. I wrinkled my forehead. Creed's snout now with his staff?
He turned to me.
"I'm sorry the food is late." He said that it was like a gentle sheep. Luh bipolar.
"Do you have mental sickness?" I can't help but ask. He frowned.
"Mental what?"
"Mental sickness. bipolar. You were so angry before then you were suddenly kind." I said. He stared at me. see? abnormal vampire.
"What are you going to stand for?" When he insults. I approached and helped him fix it. It's embarrassing that he might think I'm making him a servant.
After we arranged our food we devoured. I am very hungry.
"Are you sick?" Suddenly he asked why I was confused.
"Huh?" I asked after I had finished drinking the water.
"I said are you sick?" He asked while looking at me seriously.
"N-no ah." I said and averted my eyes. "I'm a bad grass so I won't get sick." I said.
"But why do you often feel dizzy and your nose bleeds?" He asked.
"I don't know." I just whispered and cast spells.
"I have an allergy." I just said then averted my eyes.
"I don't like everyone who is sick." He said that's why I look at him. His face was serious as he cut the pork.
"And I don't like everyone who keeps a secret." His gaze deepened on me which made me nervous.
