VR was in the kitchen and baking a cake. He was busy with his work while Roman & Rion were looking at him with full concentration. Sitting on the kitchen counter they were sucking on lollipops having a curious expression.
Orni wasn't feeling well because of depression. She was tired of hearing VR's repetitive words. She doesn't know when she closed her eyes. If she were awake she would have never let her kids near VR.
" Are you baking it for us?" Rion asked curiously.
Roman said," Our birthday is gone."
" I am baking it for Neela. Tomorrow is her birthday," VR said having an affectionate smile on his face.
He can forget anything but not Neela's birthday. He knows that he can't meet her because Shivansh will cut him into pieces if he finds VR in his clutches. That won't stop VR from meeting his daughter. Wishing her fourth birthday. He knows his daughter will be waiting for his gifts.
" Are you going to meet her? Grandpa & grandma. Are you going to meet Uncle as well?" Rion asked excitedly.
Roman asked beaming with happiness," Daddy, take us with you too. I want to meet everyone. I miss them. Mumma misses them too."
" Takes us to grandma & grandpa," Rion whined pouting.
Taking them in his muscular arms VR replied," I will take you guys to meet your grandpa & grandma once your Mumma forgives me."
" Why is she angry with you?" They asked curiously.
VR answered with guilt in his voice," That's a long story."
" I want to hear it," Rion said.
Roman shouted," Me too."
" If you guys help me winning your mother's forgiveness then I will tell you everything and take you to your grandpa & grandma," VR told them and they agreed with him.
Then, VR reminded them," But, don't tell your Mumma that I sent you guys to her."
" Ok. Promise," They promised kissing VR's cheeks.
They wriggled in his arms while VR put them down. They ran inside Orni's room to convince her about VR. When they left VR took out a recorder to record his voice. Smiling slightly he took out his phone where Neela's photo was set as his wallpaper. He kissed the picture affectionately.
" Happy Birthday, Neela baby. I hope you liked the cake. Daddy baked this cake only for you.
How are you, pumpkin? I hope you are fine. I know that your Mommy and Papa are taking proper care of you. I am sorry that I am not with you anymore. But, trust me, child, I miss you every day. I miss your tantrums, I miss your cute voice, I miss how you used to call me Daddy. I miss everything about, my baby. I love you a lot. The day I came to know that you aren't well you won't believe how much I have cried for you. Every day I pray to God for your wellbeing. I hope you will be fine very soon. Maybe I am very far from you right now but I promise that soon I will come to meet you. I love you, baby. Stay safe and never forget your Daddy."
While saying all these VR's eyes moistened with tears. He looked at Neela's photo again and moved the phone near his chest. Closing his eyes he felt his little daughter in his arms.
" I miss you, pumpkin. I miss you," VR whispered and a few drops of tears left his eyes.
VR was shedding tears when he heard someone yelling. He also heard loud noises of something breaking. It didn't take an eternity for him to understand that the sound was coming from Orni's room. He rushed towards their bedroom and found it covered with broken glasses. He looked around the room and found that Orni was smashing everything in the whole room.
When VR searched for Roman & Rion, he found them in another room. Orni locked them there so that they don't see her smashing things. She was having a peaceful slumber until Roman & Rion demanded in front of her to forgive VR and give him to them as their Daddy.
" What does he think of himself, huh? After ruining my life, hurting my parents he will get away so easily," Orni screamed at the top of her lungs.
VR entered the room when Orni shouted," Keeping me here like a prisoner how can he expects that I will forgive him."
Orni noticed him but intentionally didn't say anything to him. She was shouting all these angrily. Enough loudly to make his ear bleed.
" He keeps telling me that he loves me but when it's time to prove his love he always fails," Orni mocked letting out a mocking smile.
This sentence triggered a strong nerve inside VR. She was right that he only claims to love her but did nothing to prove his love for her. VR was looking down having a guilty expression on his face when Orni forwarded her legs to leave. Before leaving she gave him an irritated look.
" What do you want me to do to earn your forgiveness?" VR asked but in response except for her silence he got nothing.

Orni entered her room and laid down on the bed silently. She just put the kids on the bed and returned to her room. Pulling a comforter over her body she closed her eyes but sleep was far away from her eyes. She just continued thinking about a lot of things.
A few moments later, she felt the bed was dipping a little like someone has laid down beside her. She didn't give any reaction when a large hand stroked her waist with rough fingers.
" Angel," VR called but Orni remained silent.
Pulling her body into his chest, he requested," Please, talk to me. Your silence is giving me so much pain. Stop giving me cold shoulders."
Orni kept her mouth mum and VR turned her body towards him. He made her look at him but she was silent and expressionless. She stared at him but there was no feeling in her eyes.
" At least tell me what I should do to earn your forgiveness?" VR shouted but Orni didn't even flinch.
After a few moments of silence, Orni finally opened her mouth and said," Kill yourself."
VR blinked his eyes shockingly to register what she just said. For a few seconds, he felt like he has heard wrong. He again stared at her face but still, she was expressionless.
" That's it? I thought you would be asking something difficult," VR answered chuckling after understanding her order.
This time, Orni yelled at him," Kill yourself right in front of my eyes."
VR caressed her cheeks gently and asked," Can I kiss you for one last time?"
Orni didn't respond and he didn't wait for her approval too. He smashed his lips over hers and kissed her to his heart's content. He kissed her but Orni didn't kiss him back nor she struggle. She let him kiss her.
After kissing her, he stood up from the bed and took out his gun from a drawer. He pointed it at his head looking at Orni who was watching him silently.
" Goodbye, Angel," He said and closed his eyes moving his finger towards the trigger.
