My SS-Rank Witcher System Chapter 32

[You have killed Lv1 Undead] [You have killed Lv1 Undead] [+0.5 Con...] Official source is N0veI.Fiɾe.net [You have killed Lv1 Undead] [You have killed Lv1 Undead] Felix had left the courtyard and taken the battle against Lady Morwen to the palace gates to farm Constitution attribute points from the horde of undead trying to make their way in to protect their queen. There was nothing for him to do inside when Lady Morwen was still human in preparation to transform into an undead. He had to turn a blind eye on that one like a cop after being slipped a dollar bill, and could only hope it happened sooner. Till then, all Felix had to do was farm Constitution attribute points to extend the duration of his [Overdeath] skill even if it was just for a minute, and purge Lumengarde of the undead infestation and save face for the already messed up quest objective, all thanks to Aaron. Felix cut down the undead like the peasants they were and made sure they rested in pieces as they’d refused to rest in peace. But even in the midst of battle, Felix couldn’t help but have his mind occupied by the revelation of his class system and what its true purpose and mission was. Was the Witcher class system just meant to be a mole within the Sage circle, or was it aiming to make him a primordial villain who’ll wage war against mankind and the living in the name of the Witch Master. But Felix couldn’t envision himself doing that except if mankind came together to kill his mother or his pet pussy—Kelly. "Haaa~" Felix chuckled in amusement. He seemed to have been enjoying this a little more than he should, when his smile froze on his face as a foreboding aura washed over him and spread through the city—as just when he thought he alone had felt the powerful aura, the undead minions he was fighting all paused at once and looked up in a certain direction. Felix had been keeping track of Lady Morwen’s activity and never thought the blood moon ritual should be complete as Lady Morwen was yet to transition to an undead. But just like he thought, Lady Morwen was indeed yet to pierce her chest and was also looking in a certain direction with fear riddled all over her face. Everyone was looking in the same direction. Felix turned to also look in the same direction. There, floating in the sky and approaching the city was a flying sea ship with a flag that made Felix’s heart skip a beat. Standing on its deck were five powerful figures whose aura merged to wash over the city of Lumengarde below. The first to recover was Lady Morwen who sped up the ritual process and directly drove the sword into her chest. The next was Aaron, who looked more terrified than Lady Morwen and began screaming orders at the other candidates to unleash their strongest skills on Lady Morwen and began spamming his bullets and sword beams—which seemed to be the extent of his abilities now. But unlike the first time, the ball of darkness didn’t fall for his circus tricks. Like they’d adapted to his skills, the tendrils now only intercepted the real bullets and sword beams. Not even the invisible ones escaped their grasp. Whilst Lady Morwen’s eyes turned pitch black and though it didn’t seem like she died from stabbing her heart, it looked like whatever she was doing was working as her aura began expanding with the ball of darkness over her head. The ball of darkness, now twice its size and still growing, didn’t just shoot back out the intercepted bullets and sword beams of Aaron, but replicated them just like Aaron had to resemble a swarm of mosquitoes as they were shot out. But unlike Aaron’s, these ones were real and deadly and spread across the palace walls as they descended like an armageddon on the Sage candidates below. She wasn’t trying to keep them alive anymore. The candidates all scrambled in panic to take cover as the rain of bullets and sword beams devastated everything in its path. But it didn’t stop after the first wave. Wave after wave of bullets and sword beams came raining down nonstop. Aaron who’d long teleported out of his zone could only watch dejectedly as his skills backfired. There was nothing more he could do in this situation and had no intent of dying in his desperation to get Lady Morwen. He knew he was in so much trouble for discovering a dungeon within the Sage island and leading other candidates into the unsanctioned dungeon, with smuggled weapons. And not only did they fail to complete the mission objective, two of the party members—Lucy and Athenae—an S-Rank Healer, and another SS-Ranker, were both in critical conditions. He gritted his teeth and turned to look at the chaos in the city, when he was stunned to see not even a single undead in sight in the city even though it was nightfall enhanced by the ball of darkness. In fact, the locals weren’t even hiding anymore. They filed into the streets and crowded their doors and windows to witness the scene at the palace. "What are they looking at?" Aaron was confused. That was when he noticed a pile of corpses at the gate of the palace. All dead—for real this time. This was the total of the undead horde in the city. But that wasn’t what seemed to draw the locals out of their home. Aaron frowned and looked towards Lady Morwen, and was instantly stunned when he saw that whilst he and other candidates were hiding, Felix was casually soaring on her sword towards Lady Morwen. And her attacks from his copied skills all seemed to avoid Felix like a plague and was deflected as soon as they got in range. Felix arrived before Lady Morwen with his arms crossed behind his back, silently deflecting the bullets and sword beams with the [Telekinesis] skill, having in mind that he was being watched by the five Sages whose ship were at the city gates now but chose not to step in yet. "Lady Morwen, I like your sword." Felix said honestly to the beautiful necromancer. But Lady Morwen could only glare at Felix as she was in the most critical part of the transformation ritual and couldn’t let the low life Sage candidate rage-bait her into lashing out. Besides, they could only talk but couldn’t attack her. "I like your sword. How about I take that from you," Felix said with a smile as he raised his hand with an open palm before him like he was asking for it to be placed in his hand. Lady Morwen had already decided to pay no heed to the Sage candidate and raised her head with her mouth wide open towards the ball of darkness just as she completed reciting the dark scriptures. The wisp formed below the ball of darkness which grew stronger in current and they swam towards her open mouth, but before they could enter, Lady Morwen’s head snapped back as she firmly grabbed the blade of the sword embedded in her chest just as she felt a powerful tug pull it out halfway. She coughed up a mouthful of black blood as she stared at the figure floating before her with wide eyes, but Felix only smiled and forcefully ripped the sword from her chest using his telekinesis. Lady Morwen was still human at this point and embodying the Weeping Souls would have given her imaginable strength and even break her through multiple levels at once making her a formidable opponent for even the arriving Sages. She had only 1% of her health reserved from an artifact which kept her alive but dead to embody the Weeping Souls and take control of its power. "Lady Morwen, I have a message for the Dark Lord when you get to hell..." Felix paused as he stared straight into the eyes of the enraged necromancer whose body began to morph into that of a dark creature—not that Felix cared as that didn’t change the fact that her health was below 25% at this point. He was more interested in her reaction to what he was about to say to her, which would tell him a lot about his situation.
