"THANKS for your help, I do not know how I can pay you." I was embarrassed to say to Calix when he invited me to the cafeteria.
"Don't be thankful. If I can pay the operation fee in full, I will do it so I can only reach half." It was embarrassing to scratch his eyebrow.
My eyes widened at what he said. I never thought it would pay for half of Dad’s surgery.
"Calix, you can't bring out a lot of money just to help me." Without saying a word, he is holding my hand on the table.
"It's just a piece of paper, the size doesn't matter or the amount I have. I can earn that much money again. uncle Gorio's life is even more important." He gently touched the palm of my hand.

"No buts, when I said, I said." His eyebrows rose at me so I shyly pulled the hand that had been burning on me earlier.
"So I'll better go! I still have a meeting with the investors." He glanced at his watch before standing up.
"Ahh..." I wanted to say something else but I didn't want to come out of my mouth.
Until he got away from me I said nothing more. I want to cloud my eyes as I try to feel him. I never thought he would do it. Especially to a scoundrel like me. I feel even worse here, if I work for a lifetime the help he gave me and my father, I will be willing to do it just to pay.
I was in such a state of mind when a voice suddenly spoke behind me.
"That's why you didn't show up for our meeting earlier because you're busy with your boyfriend." I was startled by someone sitting next to me and I was so shocked when I met his eyes.
"Hi!" He reminded me of that as he showed off his equal teeth. He slightly lowered the sunglasses he was wearing and leaned back in his chair.
"What are you doing here, Rexon?" I whispered and quickly glanced around.
"I told you, I have my connection." Then he just shrugged his shoulder.
"Really?" My sarcastic answer.
He ignored what I said but looked around the whole place.
"So, your father is already in the hospital. And I heard he needs an operation to survive, am I right?" His eyebrows rose as she looked back at me.
I just rolled up my eyes. What else can I say? It looks like the connection he says is good.
"What do you want, why are you here?" I try to lift myself in shock.
"I'm here to help you..." He casually said and crossed his arm confidently.
I blink my eyes and blink again. Did I hear it right? Does he want to help?

Until now I am still can't believe and can not understand what happened. Rexon is gone, but the jolt of nervousness he left with me while we talked earlier is still here.
"I'm willing to help you, all the expenses and the medicines that you've needed for your father's operation, I'm ready to give." He shrugged his shoulders as if he would just give me a lollipop in my mouth.
I was completely swallowed by what he said. Is he insane? Who the fool would believe in this one's offer! I tried to convince myself.
"Just be my Personal Assistant, that's all you have to do." He shrugged again he said.
"Why me?" That was the question that came to my lips because I could not find the answer to why me?
I also widened my eyes because he openly clung to what I was wearing. I adjusted my seat slightly and also adjusted my wearing polo shirt.
I shook it at what I did and slightly sipped the coffee it ordered.
"W-wait, don't take it seriously, you're not even my type of girl." Again he glanced at my whole being before speaking again.
"One more thing, I'm just doing this because I've been harassed by the press. I don't want to lie to people when they find out you are not my real PA. I offered you my money because you need me to know you can't refuse." He twitched his eyebrows then just smiled at me broadly.
My lips parted in what he said as if my two cheeks suddenly became hot with shame. We will both benefit from the offer he gave? I am for Dad's operation and he is for his career.
But 1Million? Isn't it hard to let go of that much money? It looks like he was just starting his singing career and he was obviously only three years older than me but the offer of such a large amount of money made me very surprised.
"Just call me when you make that decision." He slightly raised his latest phone before standing up and left me speechless.
