Yvonne POV.
I got home in anger and threw down everything on my desk. I squatted down in my room for 8n 5 years as I remember what Russeli did. I will never forgive him, even if he is a popular person, I will never forgive him.
I brought my knees up and buried my face sobbing, he had played me like 8 was one of his toys like I was a plaything, I look so pathetic now, I was excited when he kissed, I was so excited when he hugged me, only for him to smash it down to me that he felt nothing.
Why can't he just tell a white lie? Why does he have to be honest, why then did he ask to meet me, why did he ask me that question. "Oh Yvonne, you look so silly out there!" He was the first person I felt happy to be with, and now he is the first person that hurt me too. No, I will never forgive him. "Never!"
Russell POV
I went into my room and drank a glass of water, then I sat down holding my chest. I had just acted like a crazy stalker just now. I run my head through my hair as I remember what had just happened a few minutes ago downstairs.
"You, I think I love you."
"Sir." She looked at me with a shocked expression.
"It's you my heart thump for." I had told her like we were acting in some kind of romantic movie, what had come over me.
"Sir, you shouldn't say that, I am your father's maid and also an orphan." She had told me and stepped back, she was right to say that, it was crazy to fall in love with my father's maid, and he will never approve of me dating an orphan.
"That is the more reason," I told her honestly, even if she was a maid, I didn't care, all I knew at this moment was that I felt something different, something strange, something I had never felt in my whole life, something I didn't understand.
"You shouldn't love me please." She stepped away from me like I was an electric that would shock her at any moment.
"I will treat you well from now on and see if what my heart says is true, so let us date!" I told her seriously, but she shook her head profusely.
"I can't do that, if my boss, your father heard that, he would fire me." She had told me softly, and she was right, my father was that kind of person, but I don't care, all I want is to understand this feeling.
"He won't find out, and even if he does, I will explain it to him," I assured her and for a moment she was quiet and was contemplating on it. No one has ever refused this offer, an offer to date a popular star, so I was expectant.
"Please, sir..." She looked up at me with fear in her eyes, but in those eyes, I could see my image, like she was staring into my soul.
Hearing her call me sir was too formal if we have to start a relationship. "Don't call me sir from now on, just call me by my name, Russeli," I told her with a smile as if I had just introduced myself to my long-time crush.
"I can't do that, I shouldn't." She looked down.
I didn't care anymore, she will get used to it. "Well, I will call you by your real name from now on, Malinda Kristen," I said with a smile and pulled her into a hug again. I had seen her file at my father's study room and had checked her name too. She struggled and pulled herself away from me and ran away to the small room she stayed in.
I go up from my bed and space around the room, truly I had just acted like one of those stalker fans, but I have to find out why my heart beats for her, when I looked at her, when I stare into her eyes, when I hold her hand and hug her, everything feels different and special.
I smiled, picked up my guitar and sat down. With joy I started playing a few notes and singing a few songs. This must be the start of something new, the start of a new dawn.
I came out the next day to meet my father who had called me over to his study room, I already knew what he was going to ask me.
I sat down like an obedient child on one of the chairs in the study and he was sitting across, he lifted his eyes to me and went straight to the matter, that's one thing I like about my dad, he doesn't kill time. "Russeli, we are running late to the production of the next album, what is the matter?"
"Dad, I should have shown you the next music, but I have to write a new song altogether," I told him honestly, the old one I wrote was no longer interesting to me so I had decided to start a new one and this time to impress my father.
"Why?" He asked me, it was the first time I had ever told him I was rewriting a new song.
I smiled at him, knowing how pleased he would be to hear what I had to say next. "I checked and the last one I wrote had no emotion, like you know, there is no heart in the music."
And just like I expected, a broad smile spread through my father's lips. "I think meeting Yvonne was very beneficial."
I pressed down my lips and nodded. "Yes dad, it was, at least I got to know something about emotions and thumping of the heart." Well, Yvonne helped me too, and I was grateful for that, even if I don't know where all this will lead to.
"My son is now coming out of his shell." My father chuckled and I raised my brow, he has always wanted to hear something like this. "So I will look forward to it then."
"Please do." I tilt my head to the side, wondering why I haven't seen our maid since we had a conversation yesterday, maybe she is hiding from me again.
"When will it be ready?" My father asked and I pulled away from my thoughts.
"Just give me a month." I touch my hair and gently run my hands through it.
"Alright."
