“Do you want to know what I was falling for?” Alex asked as they strolled hand in hand back to the car.
“I’m not that shallow you know.” She looked up at him and replied.
“Do you think I am crazy?” He asked. Their countenances turned serious again.
“Nah, I don’t think anyone is crazy just because the person has feelings.”
“I never thought things would get to this point.” He added.
“Which point?”
He halted just about a couple meters away from the car. “I never though I’ll fall in love with my workaholic neighbor.” He held her hand, stared in her eyes and gave her a bright smile.
She smiled back at him, biting her lower lip. “Why? Because we aren’t teenagers?”
“That too.”
“Why the hell would you term me as workaholic?” a soft chuckle escaped her lips as she asked, still facing him.
“You were always so busy, leaving very early in the morning to come back in the evening and lock yourself in doors. I always wondered when you even got the chance to take out your trash.”
They both laughed.
Anthony was sitting at the driver’s seat; he could not believe that Mr. Beau was actually laughing __ in public! Even though he was pissed that they were all lovey cutie, at least he smiled to the fact that his boss could genuinely smile, putting aside the fact that his boss had been busy fucking Lara throughout the trip, causing him to have a boner the whole fuckin time.

“I took out my trash in the mornings, that’s when I got to see your chauffeur bring you groceries and other stuff.”

He narrowed his eyes at her. He mentally clapped at her for her smartness, but he was not sure, why she had agreed to go back with him if she already knew who he was, or why she had been asking him all these questions about him. He also mentally applauded her, her ability to stay calm after all the flimsy excuses he gave was really a talent.
