"Lara…?" Alex called the first time, not sure whether it was actually her.
"Help me! Somebody... please!" Lara cried out.
"Lara!" Alex dashed into the room, grabbed one guy by the hair__ even though it was short, and gave him a solid punch on the face before throwing him aside. He kind of caught both men by surprise, so neither of them had the time to react before he could kick them off Lara.
"Alex…" Lara called in-between sobs. Fright was still plastered all over her face. Alex quickly took off his t-shirt and swung it over her head as he pulled her in his arms.
"I'm here now, I'm sorry…. Shshh…" He held her in his arms as she sobbed uncontrollably. "It's all over now."
The other two gigs looked at each other in confusion.
"What the hell is going on here?" One mustered up the courage and asked.
Both Lara and Alex paid a deaf ear to gigolos.
"Alex… you in here?" Neon's voice echoed from the hallway.
"Holy shit!" He exclaimed when he walked in and saw two naked guys with erected cocks standing in the room.
"What the fuck is going on here?" One of the guys asked again, this time in anger.
"Arrest both of them!" Alex ordered without turning to face the audience.
The cops who walked in with Neon immediately went into action.
"And get them to cover up those huge extra legs." Neon added sarcastically.
Both guys protested, trying to understand what was going on. They paid to have a great time and here they are… being arrested instead __ naked.
"Hey, no one's gonna hurt you again." Alex whispered in Lara's ear softly. Her sobbing had died down but she still maintained her grip on his singlet.
Neon walked close to the couple. Even though she had Alex's t-shirt on, her tights and the side of her butt were all exposed. Neon took off the trench he had on and offered it to Alex.
Alex carried Lara in his arms all the way outside the building. She was now decently covered in a t-shirt and trench.
She had her arms wrapped around his neck.
"Thanks for saving me." She whispered when they finally made it outside.
He felt guilty, ' why was she thanking him when she got caught in this mess because of him?'
"You came just in time. I'm so happy that you are here now. I was scared." She began sobbing again as she buried her face once more in his chest.
"I was scared too, sorry that you had to go through it all."
Neon and the cops flocked out of the building with numerous people in cuffs, including Mikey, or Funky G as he calls himself.
"I'll kill that slut and you too Mr. Beau." G cursed as he was being pulled by two cops.
Alex quickly but gently let go of Lara, walked to G, grabbed him by his collar and landed three solid punches on his face. One actually met his nose... probably broke it because he started bleeding. Before he could launch the fourth blow, Neon caught his hand in the air.
"Chilax bro, we've got him this time."
Anger veins were visible on Alex's face. His temple tendons became pronounced as he chewed in anger. He balled his fist trying to control the urge to kill G.
"She needs you more." Neon said, motioning to Lara who had folded her arms around her body and stared silently at nothing in particular.
"This is not over, thief!" G managed to scream back as he was escorted to the police Van.
"Let me help you with that." He helped her button up all the buttons on the trench.
"Shall we?" He asked when he was done buttoning up.
She nodded in agreement.
"He's got like twenty Stooges with him, that's the number I could count. There could be more. And he's got prostitutes too." Lara said.
"Yeah, we intercepted the stooges, the cops would process everything he'd had going on here, since it was obviously all illegal."
"How did you find me?" She asked as he walked her to the car. Cops were everywhere, but she couldn't see any News guys around.
"You remember the cyber wizard slash genius friend I told you about right?"
"Yeah…"
"Meet him… Neon." Alex turned to Neon who was following closely behind them.
"Hey Milady." Neon gave a clean gentlemanly bow.
"Hey… you look familiar. Anyway, thanks so much for everything and for being a good friend to Alex." Lara said politely.
"Oh, we are not friends." Neon and Alex said in unison.
"Oh…" Lara raised her brow at both of them. She knew this type of silly bickering among friends,she did not want to start one right now. "Thank you so much, enemies or whatever your relationship is."
"Anytime, Milady." Neon said to Lara. "I'll take my leave." He added when he saw the medics approach them.
He gave one last look at Alex. They both silently were puzzled why she would look this calm despite everything she's been through.
"Please tell me that those medics aren't here for me." Lara whisper-grumbled as she leaned close to Alex.
"It's no big deal, they just have to make sure that you are OK."
"I'm okay. Maybe a little bit traumatized and scared that he was gonna hurt me, but you came just in time." She hugged him.
He blinked a couple of times to make sure he heard her correctly. 'Did she just say he didn't hurt her? It means nobody touched her either?' he thought to himself.
"Mike or those gigs did not touch you?" He asked, just to confirm.
"Well, he did … they did but…." She let out a long deep breath.
"I'll kill him" Alex swore out in gritted teeth. He did not even give her the chance to complete her sentence "I'm sorry you had to go through all this because of me."
"I just feel like peeling my skin off."
"Ma'am, come with me to the ambulance please." The medic said, interrupting their conversation.
Alex released her from the hug but held her hand as they walked together back towards the ambulance.
The run-up test was really brief since she did not have any major injury or she wasn't physically hurt except for her jaw that was swollen from the slaps earlier.
Alex took note of her red jaw, but he was more worried about other things than that. But when no body mentioned anything about taking a rape kit or test for any venereal disease he really began to get worried but was more conflicted. He thought that maybe her acting like all was ok was her way to shut everything that happened. He made a mental note to get her to talk to a therapist.
"Can we go home?" He smiled at her.
She nodded. "What would happen to Funky G?"
"Who?" Alex asked in bewilderment. He almost laughed at the name. He knew exactly whom she was referring to.
"The guy who took me. He said stuff about you taking something from him too."
"Oh, he's a lunatic. Plus he's got some loose screws up there. But be rest assured, he'll be going away for a long time for ever thinking of hurting you."
"Good thing he didn't hurt me. But I just can't get over the fact that he saw me stark naked. And those other beasts almost got me."
Alex swung his head and stared at her. " He didn't do it?" He tried to sound polite and less offensive as possible. That playful Alex had been buried in only God - knows - where.
"Do what? Rape me?"
