"I still can't shake the fact that I've got a Sextape out there, you know." Lara said softly after their laughter had died down.
"Not anymore, sweetheart!"
She sat up slowly, adjusting herself on her elbow for support. "What do you mean by 'not anymore'?" She asked seriously, scrutinizing his face for the slightest shift in readable emotions.
"I made sure to delete it." He replied innocently.
"From your phone?" She asked, not sure whether he was on the same page with her. "It still doesn't change the fact that whoever sent it has got the original copy, plus I still have it on my phone too." She explained patiently.
"Are you sure you still have it?" He asked, raising a brow. He leaned forward towards her like he was going to kiss her, but he didn't. He stared at her with this look of mischief with his weirdly suspicious grind all spread out over his face. She could see the well outlined contours of his face. He licked on his succulent lips, driving her insane.
'Stay focused, Lara!' She internally yelled at herself.
"What do you mean?" She asked instead. She stared at him suspiciously.
"I made sure to delete the entire video." He explained nonchalantly.
She shook her head. "I don't think I am able to comprehend the words coming out of your mouth right now." She replied, with a look of puzzlement. "Enlighten me please!"
"I guess it's because your mind is thinking of something else right?" He flashed her a smile as he raised his brows inquisitively. He still did not get rid of his mischievous look.
"Are you fuck'in kidding me right now?? Hold on,are we even talking about the same thing right now??" She asked, still confused.
"I totally doubt that." He lazily laid on the bed with his back on the mattress as he supported his head with his arm.
'Damn he's got one hell of a body, how come I didn't notice that?' Lara asked herself as she licked her lips. She couldn't take her eyes off the display of his smooth, well defined muscled chest.
"Do that one more time and I'll forget the fact that you are sore and take you right now." He threatened seriously with a lust-filled look.
"Do what? I'm worried about the fact that somebody's got a recording of me with a man and here you are saying bullshit! Doesn't it bother you at all that …."
"Somebody will see me fucking my girlfriend??" He cut in.
She stared at him with her mouth open for a moment.
"We are in a relationship, so it shouldn't be a problem." He replied with no enthusiasm.
"You are crazy, you know that?" She laughed dryly. "It might be ok with you, but not with me. I'm not comfortable being a part of pornography." She spoke in what seemed to be almost a whisper as she shook her head, turned around and was about to step down from the bed.
She paused and turned to face him."You know…" she started. "I blame myself for being stupid to think that you'll care." She added.
"What are you talking about?" Alex sensed the shift in the atmosphere and knew that, well… jokes were over.
He stretched his arm and quickly grabbed her by the waist, pulling her to his body as she placed one leg on the floor.
"Let go, Alex!" She ordered in anger as she tried to free herself from his arms. Her eyes began to hurt, not because he did not care but because she gave her anal virginity to an asshole.
"Hey… hear me out sweetheart." He said softly in her ear. He held her still in a back hug, immobilizing her, but not tight enough to hurt her, just enough to make sure she stopped fighting.
"I do care, Ok? I care about you, more than I thought ok." He explained.
"You see what my problem is Alex?" She asked coldly with no hint of emotions.
"Tell me please!"
She sighed in frustration. "I was having an asexual relationship, it was a sexual act… do you know what sexual means?" She asked, raising her tone
He remained silent.
"Means two people, Alex__ two people." She raised her hand in the air with two fingers poking up to clearly demonstrate what she meant.
"If only one person is worried, then it makes the other guilty in this scenario. If you had nothing to do with it all as you say, then part of you should be uncomfortable with the fact that someone else will get to see me naked.!! Is that reason enough?" She spoke without catching a breath.
"I told you that I deleted the entire video right?"
"Yes, and so?"
"It means there's no video anywhere." He explained vaguely.
She narrowed her eyes, staring at him diabolically.
He moved his eyeballs from one corner of the room to her and back to the opposite side, searching for whatever it was that was turning the room chilly and sending goosebumps all over his body.
' isn't she supposed to be happy with me?' he asked internally, still trying to figure out the interpretation of her silence.
"What… did… I… do aga...in? He asked brokenly, making sure not to say the wrong words as he broke the silence.
"You said you deleted the video, so it's not there everywhere, not only on your phone right?" She asked, evening out the frown that rested on her temple the whole time.
"Yes I did. I'm a darling right?" Alex replied cheerfully.
She swallowed a huge lump of saliva, tucked her hair behind her ear. She did not turn to face him fully, just enough to gauge his reaction. And unfortunately, he had his signature grind on his face again. She felt her bile boil up. She inhaled deeply. 'Calm down and talk it out, Lara.' she tried to assure herself.
"How is it possible that you deleted the tape entirely, but you denied being responsible for filming it in the first place? Hold up…" she raised five fingers in the air, halting him from saying whatever it was that he was about to say. "Before you utter the next word, take into consideration that right now I'm trying to be reasonable enough to understand you because I don't want you to wind up dead in your own bed tomorrow morning." She threatened.
Alex hung his mouth open.
She could see from her side eye how dumbfounded he looked.
"So, start talking. And you better convince me."
"Wait… haha…" He began laughing really loud. He let go of her as he leaned back, placed his hand on his belly. His laughter echoed throughout the house.
At first Lara was confused. Her confusion later turned to anger.
She picked up the pillow and hit him hard with all her might.
"You think it's funny?" She yelled as she continued beating him with the pillow. "Huh?"
"No, no. Of course not," Alex replied. His words were still clouded in laughter. "I can't believe you." He managed to say. "I got someone to trace the origin of the video and delete it. I just did not know that you had gotten it too." He explained as his laughter died down gradually.
She froze, with the pillow in the air ready to strike him again, but it never happened. She was surprised that he did not for once even try to block her attacks.
"You got someone to trace the IP address of the sender? Like hacking shit?" She asked in awe. "Like who really are you? Within a day you got someone to do that?" She started bombarding him with questions.
"Easy, would you? I've got a badass friend, I was actually with him when I got the video, so he worked on it immediately." He explained. He had finally stopped laughing.
"Check your phone." He said.
"Why?" She asked suspiciously.
"Just to make sure the video isn't there."
She turned towards the bedside cupboard to search for her phone, but she remembered that this was not even her home and the circumstances in which she got to the bedroom too. She couldn't help but blush.
"Why are you blushing? Remembered something you wanna share?" Alex whispered in her ear.
She jerked and abruptly turned to face the owner of the voice. "You fuck'in scared me." She said as she placed her hand on her chest to calm her beating heart. "Get the fuck off!!" She yelled.
"You mean 'get to fuck in'?" Alex asked, still not moving from his position behind her ear as he whispered and flashed her a seductively smile.
"Jeez!! Alex, stop!" She said pushing off her. She got off the bed butt naked, walked to his closet and fetched out one of his black t-shirts.
He couldn't stop drooling over the free display of the meal he just devoured earlier. He knew he couldn't have it again, unfortunately.
She quickly threw the t-shirt over her body as she ran down stairs.
How she managed to get to the living room without the lights on?__probably the effect of adrenaline.
"Oh my god!!!" She exclaimed as she stared at her phone dumbfounded.
"What is happening to me? Oh no, no, no!!!" She shook her head in denial, covering her mouth with her hand as tears gradually flowed from her eyes.
