Santino quickly checked his phone and saw Erica’s message that she had sent when Artemis was in his cabin. He checked all the pictures; obviously, that man and Caroline looked closer to each other, but at the same time, he also knew the true story was far away from what it looked like. Maybe Erica didn’t observe it, but he observed that night how Caroline was looking at Artemis.
Just because Caroline was a witch, it wasn’t written anywhere that a witch couldn’t fall in love. She looked at Artemis like he was her little world. Years back, someone used to look at him in the same way, so he knew that gaze.
Then his eyes stopped when he saw the pup who was in the news. He didn’t miss how happy he looked in Caroline’s arms.

“Look at these pictures and tell me what you feel.” He asked. Lucca sensed what Santino was exactly asking. He was in no mood to listen to his buttering words and wanted to hear the truth, and Lucca told him the exact same thing that Santino was thinking.
“I don’t think Erica is right about that witch,” Lucca said.
“She hasn’t learned her lesson yet. It seems like she is going learn another lesson from that witch again.” Santino muttered, shaking his head.
“Except for this, I also have another news. Your grandparents and even your uncle are planning to transfer their Company’s shares to your cousin and soon going to announce him as CEO of the Company.” Lucca informed.
“There is no use in doing that. But shareholders will do what I will ask them to do, and for that, I don’t care how much money I will have to spend.”
“And how are you going to manage so much money?”
“I will sell all my shares, but I won’t let Artemis become CEO, not this soon. I’m going to become the Alpha of the pack at the age of thirty instead of twenty-three years old.” Santino hissed. “I won’t leave him easily just because he finally stopped competing for the Alpha title. And my other family members are so good that they will never offer money to those shareholders. Not when Artemis is right."
‘If he would have never shown any desire of becoming Alpha, then I would have become Alpha seven years back, and then… then I wouldn’t have thought of having a strong mate for Luna’s position… then maybe then… I wouldn’t have treated her like just because she was an Omega.’

It was told to Artemis and Caroline that the DNA test would take three to five working days. And it was finally the third day from the moment the sample was collected. So, they both were waiting eagerly for the result. Meanwhile, they got married on paper to adopt Bobby as a couple because the single parent couldn’t adopt a child; either the couple should be married or should be living together for at least three years.
After getting married on papers, Artemis had already started the adoption procedure.
“Mr. and Mrs. Gosling!!! Here is the result.” The laboratory assistant handed an envelope to Artemis, and soon, she left from there.
“Babe, if… if the result will be positive, then what will I say to Bobby about his parents when he grows old? Why do his real parents don’t want him?” Artemis asked.
“I… I don’t know. But at least read it. What is inside, or do you want me to read?”
“Yeah! Go ahead.” He mumbled and gave it to Caroline.
Caroline opened the envelope and read the things that neither was important nor she could understand. She looked for the result.
“The following table summarizes that Master Bobby does show the generic markers with Mr. Artemis Thomas Gosling. Based on all the analyses performed, the average percentage of DNA shared was 18%. So, there is a probability of Mr. Artemis Thomas Gosling being an uncle or 1st cousin's uncle of Master Bobby.”
After reading the report, when Caroline looked at Artemis, he was grinning ear to ear, and tears breamed in his eyes. “Our wolves were right about it from day one,” Caroline said, on which he nodded.
“Will you have adopted him even if he wouldn’t have been your nephew?” She said.
“Obviously! The way he wasn’t ready to leave your side, do I have any other choice except claiming him as my own?” Artemis asked. “Moreover, I always wanted a protective son for my daughter, remember?”
Caroline giggled at his word before speaking, “We’re not planning babies for now. Not until Bobby will be ready to accept a new member in the family.”

On the other side, Bobby was with Colton, playing with his toys and looking at him from time to time.
“Want to say something?” He asked, on which he nodded his head. “What is that?”
“Where is Caro?” Bobby asked.
“She went outside with Artemis for some important work. She will be back soon.” Colton replied and pulled him closer to him. “As per the registered date, it’s your birthday next month. And then you will be two years old.”
“So, there can be chances that you will be enrolled in a nursery this year.”
“Nur.. nursery?”
“Yes!! That is a school for toddlers. Have you seen kids going to school wearing school dresses and school bags on their backs?” Colton asked, on which Bobby nodded his head. After that, Colton explained more about the nursery and the advantages of going there. He would get a chance to meet a lot of kids of his age, and there, he would get a chance to make friends. Hearing all this, Bobby was getting excited; new bag, new dress, new lunch box, and water bottle, everything sounded so nice.
Little did he know most of the kids cried on their first day of school and also on the last day of school.
