Two hours later!!
“No!!”
“Bobby…!!” Caroline tried to catch him, but he started running.
“No! No! No! No!” he cried and ran here and there in her t-shirt. Artemis couldn’t help but click a couple of his pictures of Bobby wearing Caroline's t-shirt.
“Why are you running after him?” He couldn’t help but ask.
“He doesn’t want to go out. The moment I started taking him to give him a bath, he started chanting ‘NO’ like Mantras.” Caroline said, on which Colton’s lips smiled just a little, just a little.
“Reminds me so of you!! You also hate going out during days.” Colton pointed out. “I think he is scared that after getting ready, you will leave him back to Orphanage,” he added, looking at Bobby, who had hidden his feelings behind his naughty tricks. “I’m not sure about it.”
“But I think you’re right.” Artemis paused before continuing, “Maybe… maybe he is just scared. For example, if you were scared to give me a chance after what happened with you in the past, then Bobby is just a baby.” Artemis explained and walked toward Bobby, who was looking at him.
“Am I right, champ?” He asked, carrying him in his arms. Bobby didn’t talk with him instantly. “If you’re worried about that part, then don’t worry. My wife won’t leave you, not until you want to leave her.”
“I won’t,” Bobby replied.
“Then there is nothing to worry about. Go and freshen up like a good boy.” Artemis talked with him and gave him to Caroline. “I’m leaving.” He said and kissed Caroline’s cheek.
“We will wait for you,” Caroline replied and kissed his back. Colton rolled his eyes, seeing their romance because it was new for him. Artemis kissed Bobby’s cheek as well because he was looking between the couple from time to time.
“Bye, champ!!”
“Bye!!” Bobby flapped his hand.
Artemis wasn’t sure whether he was ready to become a father at the same time; he knew Caroline’s situation was the same.
They had not discussed about this topic properly but becoming parents in a flash was something unexpected and something they weren’t prepared about. In normal procedure, werewolf parents get time to prepare their minds for three months, but this… this happened all of a sudden.
Also, Bobby had just gone through mental trauma where he would take time to adjust to everything, and he would definitely oppose the idea of having any small kid younger than him. In that way, they couldn’t have their own pup anytime soon.
‘So, we will not keep Bobby?’ Bolt asked.
‘I don’t know, Bolt. To be honest, I’m scared. What if I won’t be able to love like my own then? It’s like falling in love is easy but staying in love is difficult. Also, I have to talk about Santino about it. Because since kids, we’re fighting, and the last thing I want is to involve Bobby between our fight if he is really his.’
‘Hmm. Also, inform in the Orphanage as well.”

“I hadn’t thought that you would come with us,” Caroline said, looking at her brother who accompanied her in the shopping. Caroline thought to get some clothes and a couple of other things that she thought that he might need. And she was glad that she took this decision because the moment they entered the Mall, he curiously started looking around him just like other kids.
“To be honest, Artemis asked me to accompany you if possible,” Colton replied and pinched Bobby’s cheek.
“Aahh!” He whined and hid his face in Caroline’s neck.
“He has a trust issue right now,” Caroline said, observing him. “Whenever he is out, he doesn’t leave me as if I will leave him or something. Do you think that his foster parents torture him in that way?” She asked. “I have seen people leaving their pet dogs by bringing them away from the house. Who knows they would have tried to do something like that with Bobby?”
“Maybe!!” Colton muttered, shrugging his shoulder. “There is a toy shop there. Let’s take him over there,” he suggested.
After a moment, “Bobby, choose the toys that you want.” Caroline said, trying to put him down.
“No.” Bobby was not ready to leave her.
“Sweetheart!! I won’t go anywhere; I will walk right behind you, okay!” Finally, after convincing him for a while, he let Caroline go and walked on his own feet. For a while, he kept looking back from time to time to check whether Caroline was behind him or not. After a while, he gathered confidence and started looking on his own to see what was there; while Caroline shot his video, she giggled at his way of walking. Then they got some clothes for him, and even this time, Caroline let Bobby decide the clothes he wanted. She used to alert his choice at the end if she didn’t find those clothes good.
“Get me footwear as well. The one he is wearing doesn’t look comfortable.” Colton remarked.
“Oh! Yeah. I forgot that part.”
“By the way, did you submit the samples of both Artemis and Bobby for DNA test?” Colton asked in a low tone.
“Yes, that was the first thing that finished in the morning.”
“So, have you decided what you’re going to do with him?” Colton asked, pointing toward Bobby, who was running here and there in the play zone and was checking on Caroline from time to time.
