Third POV.
“What do you mean by saying that? Are we now supposed to tell you where we are going?” Aurora asked angrily.
“Of course, what if something happens to you?” Aiden asked back as he looked at his sister.
“Stop it Aiden. In the past two weeks you never cared about anything we did. Why now?” Aurora asked because she couldn’t understand him at all.
Deep down, she hoped that he had stopped being stubborn and was ready to apologise to Aiden.
“I was busy searching for dad thus I couldn’t monitor what you were doing. You should stay away from her before you also get kidnapped.” Aiden said as he threw Leila a disgusted look then averted the gaze as if he would get an infectious disease by continuing looking at her.
Leila saw it but pretended that she wasn’t affected and put a mocking smile on her face but deep down, her heart was in pain.
“You! As Leila said, if you really hate her and have guts, reject her! That way, she may leave and go find happiness elsewhere,” Aurora said as she was irritated as she wondered why her brother had become so heartless.
“Why should I give up my status as the king for someone like her? I will neither reject her nor mark and mate with her! In that way, she may regret coming into my life,” Aiden said coldly as he glared at his sister.
“Aiden you should stop it if you don’t want to face her family’s wrath,” Eric said as he was having enough of his words.
“Family? Can they do anything to me? As long as they can’t take what father gave me, that's enough!” Aiden's cold words made everyone speechless.
“I saw an old man from a far where has he gone?” Aiden said as he looked around.
“Oh, so you saw him?” Leila said sarcastically, making the others chuckle while Aiden glared at her.
“Wish grandfather didn’t leave. In that, he would have dealt with you. After all, don’t you think that our family can’t do anything?” Elana said in a stern voice.
“Aiden. Do you know that her grandfather wanted to deal with you but Leila begged him not to do so? Do you think that even the moon goddess is happy with what you are doing? She believed that you are the one who can give Leila all the happiness she needs in the world. But you not only disappointed her but also dad,” Aurora said angrily yet calm voice.
Aiden looked at her deeply as he wanted to refute but didn’t know what to say.
He knew that if he continued to stay there, they might succeed in what they wanted; he couldn't lower his pride and apologise.
“Aiden, what she said is true. Her grandfather said that he had wanted to come immediately. You started treating her like shit but opted not to because he heard that Amaya had a plan but now. I am also disappointed in you,” Matteo said as he shook his head.
“You now know even more about her darkness just after spending a little time with them?” Aiden asked as he couldn’t believe it.
As his mate, Leila never told him about it but heard it from others now hearing them say that he was hurt deeply. He looked at Leila with disbelief and sadness in his eyes.
“What? Why are you giving me that look? I told them because they proved that they are true friends as they never discriminated against me even after what happened like you,” Leila said coldly hurting Aiden even more.
She gave him a mocking smile when she saw the hurt in his eyes before looking at Matteo.
“Why do you seem to be hurt If you treated her with enough care and love then you would have known a lot of things and be close with her grandfather,” Jordan said as he was angry when he saw the hurt look on Aiden’s eyes and couldn’t believe that he had the guts to be angry and hurt when it was his own fault.
Eric sighed as he didn’t want to see his best friend in pain. Because of this, he opted to tell the truth.
“She didn’t tell us. We have seen and heard Amaya but we thought she was her wolf until we heard them mentioned but we still had doubts. You are the one who have confirmed it,” Eric said hoping to relieve Aiden but it

“Cause you are my mate and you shouldn’t be close to them. You shouldn’t tell them anything about yourself!” Aiden replied in a shout making Leila laugh loudly.
“You are crazy! You have no right! They have been helping me out all these while where have you been as my mate, huh? You treat me like a shit and expect me to treat you like a treasure? Now way! You better forget it and if you are dreaming that you should stop!” Leila retorted as she looked at him coldly.
Aiden looked at her and wondered why she had changed so much in some few days.

She can talk to anyone she wants and choose her own friend. I even wish she can even choose a man to be her mate cause you haven’t been doing your work,” Elana said in a serious tone, making the others nod their heads as they agreed with her.
Aiden laughed when he heard her words and looked at her.
“Her to choose another mate? Dream on! I will never reject her and she can never be with any other man.”
