Jason's ( P. O. V. )
The car was silent after our declaration.
I decided to but the radio on and Rise by Jonas blue ft jack&Jack started playing.
"Yeah that's my jam." Ben stated swaying from side to side.
I glanced at Maria and she was tapping her feet to the music and I smiled.
"Maria I know you have a beautiful voice why don't you sing the song for us?" I inquired, smiling at her.
The robot turned red so I could look at her beautiful face without worrying about getting knocked by car.
"What!? who told you that?" she asked nervously, evading my eyes.
Why is she suddenly always nervous around me?
I stared ar her for a second before answering her question.
"Your Mom." I admitted. "She told me how much you love singing, not only in the bathroom, but everywhere else in the house."
She blushed.
"Oh!, yeah I do." she admitted her cheeks turning red. She turned her head to the side, looking at the view of the trees.
Why can't she look me in the eye?
I hate when someone doesn't look me in the eyes. In my understanding it means their hiding something very important from me.
Could she be hiding something from me?
No she would never.
"Maria look at me." I demanded.
She slowly opened her eyes to look at me.
"Please sing the song for us." I asked tenderly, she slowly nodded her head in response to my question.
"Yey! Maria will sing for us, I actually never heard her sing so I'm excited." Lola exclaimed enthusiastically.
I actually didn't remember they were in the car with us.... When I simply just stare into Maria's eyes all sense of reality disappears.
Maria smiled.
"Jason focus on the road please." she warned, smiling at me.
Yes.. she finally looked me in the eyes... willingly.
"Okay I will, just start singing already." I responded impatiently.
I really want her to sing for us... In the many years we've been friends, she has never told me that she loved singing, or even could sing. I'm really excited to hear her sing.
I'm sure her voice is as wonderful has she is.
What's wrong with me?
When it comes to Maria I just lose all my senses....
I restarted the song and Maria cleared her throat and started singing.

I joined her and we both sang along together.

They all joined us and we all sang together.

Her voice sounds so wonderful just like she is. I knew she has a wonderful voice, this is Maria we talking about she's good at Everything...
Cooking, baking, basketball, Tennis, swimming and now singing.
One thing I haven't seen her do is dance...
Can't she even dance?
"Maria that was so beautiful, we have been friends for so many years but I haven't heard you sing at all, you have a beautiful voice." Lola complimented Maria.
"Thanks guys, I really don't like showing that side of me, I only sing when I'm sad and need comfort." Maria admitted.
"You never told me that and we have been friends way longer than you were with these guys." I pointed out side glancing her, she looked at me and then at the road ahead of us.
"Is there anything else you are hiding from me." I inquired.
I know I may be overreacting but she's my best friend, I tell her all my secrets so I want her to do the same.
I'm not that close with my guy friends, I don't trust them has much as I trust Maria.
"I guess we not close." I added when she didn't reply.
"No don't say that Jason... we very close, I just..." She trailed off.
I don't want her to lie to me...
"Please just don't say anything, I don't want to hear any lies." I replied sternly.
"When are we going to be in Las Vegas, I don't wanna hear y'all arguing?" Carla responded.
"Two hours more and we not arguing, okay." I confessed.
"Whatever." Carla said rolling her eyes.
After that no one said a word.
I really hope I can handle these few days without talking to Maria, I don't want to talk to her.
I glanced at Maria for a second before focusing on the road again. She's looking at the outside scenery.
"Jason control yourself and focus on the road or you'll kill all of us." I mumbled to myself.
