When we get to Yazahib's house, Simone and I were already calmer. Angry with my boyfriend I get out of the car and together with my friend we go home followed by Yazahib who tries to hold my hand.
"Daniel!" Yazahib protests when I don't allow him to touch me, “I'm talking to you,” without paying attention to what he says, I keep hugging my friend.
"Teddy, you must talk to him. You know Yazahib only takes care of you," I look at my friend with a frown, “don't look at me like that, Yazahib loves you, go and talk to him,” furious, I go to the room to change my clothes. I am not talking to Yazahib, I am already tired of his behavior.
"Are you going to ignore me?" Yazahib grabs my arm and turns me. "What do you think you're doing?"
I smile looking into his eyes, “I do not want to talk to you, leave me alone,” I let go of him and continue looking for the clothes that I will wear to be at home.
“Don't play with me, Daniel,” his tone of voice boils my blood, “you know perfectly well that I take care of you.”
Turning furiously, I look at him with rancor, “don't say stupid things Yazahib. I found you with your ex-girlfriend, you have me locked up here and you won't let me do anything, damn it! You scared me to death just because you didn't know the car I got into. Do you understand what you are doing?”
Yazahib stiffens his gesture, “I just made sure my girlfriend wasn't with a stranger. You are mine Daniel, mine and nobody else's. Nobody can have you.”
I shook my head softly, hurt by his behavior, his possessiveness, “if you continue to control everything I will no longer be yours,” I look into his eyes, “you are going to lose me Yazahib, you are going to lose me and you will not be able to recover,” I take a step back and go to the door but Yazahib takes me by the arm and forces me to back off.
"Don't ever say I'll lose you, don't ever say it again" he growls at me looking at me with fury, "I'll never ... I'll never lose you because you're mine," he almost yelled.
"No, I'm not yours, I'm your girlfriend, not a fucking property. Yazahib, you are jealous of Derek, of your friend, why would you be jealous of your friend? You bought the bar where I work to stop me from working. I can only work on what I like when you are the one who hires the services… you have a body guard for me, Yazahib, bodyguard! Do you realize that this is a cage of gold and glass?” I hold back my tears, “never, never in life will you be able to control me at your pleasure, and do you know why? Because I am not the same as the others, Yazahib. I don't like depending on other people, I don't like being in a glass cage. I'll make you angry whenever I want to, and I'll do it because I'm always going to do what I want, not what you want,” I look at him for a few seconds, “do you love me? Yazahib, do you love me?”
"Yes, of course I love you," he answers without hesitation.
"So why do you insist on being so controlling? I thought you had fallen in love with what I was, why want to control everything?” He runs his hand through his beard and combs it.
"I behave that way because it is my way of being. You also fell in love with me because of the way I am. You accepted me like that Daniel, I always control everything, I am the one who commands the others, I am a powerful man. Anyone who does not do what I want pays dearly,” the forcefulness of his words makes me tremble, “but you came and you make me mad, damn it, you do everything you want and you don't obey me. You make me mad and you break all my rules. I just want to take care of you, I just want you to obey me,” now I understand what his problem is, Yazahib does not know how to love, he only knows how to control, order and produce fear in others.
"If you don't learn to love uncontrollably, if you don't accept that in love both people have equal rights, if you're not willing to change a little for me and our relationship," I breathe out thrpugh my mouth, "than this relationship will end. I want to help you, I want to show you that I love you, that I would never leave you for anyone else. I want to teach you to trust me, I just want you to learn how beautiful it is when two people lean on each other,” I approach him and caress his cheek, “give me the opportunity to show you that you don't need to be so controlling, possessive and jealous.”
Yazahib frowns, “you don't need to teach me anything, I am capable of loving, do you understand? I am capable of loving because I love you,” he turns away from me and leaves the room. I look at the door confused, what had happened to him? Why did he react like this? Sad for Yazahib's reaction, and not knowing what to do for him to understand that it is not good to be so controlling. I change out of my clothes and go downstairs to meet my best friend. When I get to the living room, I see him talking to Simone, he is demanding something from him. I know because he is quite upset.
“What's going on? Why are you arguing?” I approach them. Agitated and furious, Yazahib tried to walk away, “where are you going?" I ask him when he takes the keys with him, “I'm talking to you, Yazahib,” when he turns, in his eyes I see fury, anger and despair.
"I should never have taken you to work, I never should have."
I look at my friend and he lowers his head, I looked at Yazahib again, walking up to him, “you leave this house and you can be sure that you will have a hard time getting my forgiveness. You leave here and I swear to God that you will know everything about me,” Yazahib looks at me from his height and without saying anything he turns his back on me and leaves the house. The urge to cry invades me but I don't let the tears out. I turn to face my friend, “since when do I allow a man to make me feel this way?Since when do I accept being dominated by an arrogant, pretentious, manipulative and jealous billionaire? Tell me when I stopped being that determined, strong woman who fights for what she wants?”
My friend looks at me with a sympathetic gesture, “since you fell in love, honey. You love him and when we love we don't realize how much we change,” letting out the tears, I shake my head.
"So he doesn't love me, he doesn't because he hasn't changed for me. Yazahib is much worse Simone, why can't he learn to deal with things without being so possessive?”
My friend hugs me, “he's like that, darling. Yazahib Meyer only knows power, he does not know how to love, he does not know what a relationship is.”
I turn away from him a little and look into his eyes, “he was in a relationship with Caroline, why are you telling me he doesn't know how to love?"
My Darling bites his lower lip, “in time you will know everything, darling, for now I want you to calm down and talk," he smiles at me.
"Calm me down? You and I are going to have fun,” I smile wiping away my tears, “let me change my clothes.” My Darling looks at me confused, “I'm not a submissive woman, darling, I want to have fun and we're going to do it."
