Four men, none with female companions, so when Titus Zane and Nathan Moore appeared at the doorway, everyone was visibly taken aback for a moment.
Only Evander Lancaster had an indifferent expression, as if he had known all along.
Nicholas Croft was the first to react, snubbing out his cigarette before standing up, smiling, and greeting Titus Zane.
"Sister-in-law also came to join the fun."
Titus Zane’s smile was faint as he politely nodded slightly, "Hmm, so big brother had already arrived. You must have been eagerly waiting."
Having been tied to Nathan’s side for nearly a year, Titus Zane was no stranger to the several men inside, often accompanying Nathan to social engagements.
He nodded to each of them in turn as a greeting, and Felix Shaw also rose to his feet and reluctantly called out, "Sister-in-law."
Evander Lancaster took a deep drag of his cigarette, then casually threw the cigarette butt to the ground as he enthusiastically approached.
"Sister-in-law, feeling agile? Has second brother mistreated you again in the past few days?"

Although Nicholas Croft was surprised to hear the rumors about Nathan Moore mistreating his woman, he felt that it was their personal matter, and it wasn’t appropriate for a brother to interfere.
"Fine, I’ve gone too far. I’m the sewer, always meddling in others’ affairs!" Evander Lancaster mumbled indifferently, turning to sit on the nearest sofa, crossing his legs while still looking at his fidgeting hand.

Titus Zane’s expression was somewhat unnatural, the curve of her lips a bit stiff.
Self-consciously, she reached up to touch the bangs that covered her scars, fearing they might be exposed for others to see.
As proud as she was, always pampered by Logan Ray, with Nathan, she felt even more humiliated than a housemaid, particularly in front of Nathan’s brothers.
