Evander Lancaster was invited to the villa again to administer IV therapy to Titus Zane, and while organizing the medical kit, he couldn’t help but talk teasingly.

Nathan Moore, Nicholas Croft, Felix Shaw, and Evander Lancaster are sworn brothers. Among the four, Nicholas Croft is the oldest, Nathan Moore is second, and Evander Lancaster is the youngest, hence placed last.

"Enough!" Evander Lancaster’s continuous retorts finally provoked a change in Nathan Moore’s handsome face, his obsidian eyes filled with an indescribable emotion, as he stopped him with a cold voice.
"I pay you to treat my family, not to listen to your nagging."
"Tsk, tsk, look at that, still not admitting it." Although coldly scolded, Evander Lancaster was not annoyed, instead, his laughter seemed a bit provoking.
He closed the lid of the neatly arranged medical kit and casually reached into the pocket of his trousers to pull out a packet of cigarettes.

Putting the cigarette back into the pack, he nodded, "I understand, there’s a patient here, so it’s not suitable to smoke."
He had thought Nathan Moore would deny it, but instead, he coldly admitted.

The movement of Evander Lancaster tucking away the cigarettes paused, he was first taken aback, then laughed again.
Removing his white coat and placing it on his wrist, he picked up the medical kit, and said in a tone neither overcast nor sunny.

"Sir, the Ginger Soup for the lady is ready," Aunt Liu said, standing at the door, the tray in her hands bearing a small bowl of Ginger Soup steaming hot.
It was made on Nathan Moore’s instruction, with added brown sugar.
"Put it here," Nathan Moore indicated with his chin, and Aunt Liu, carrying the Ginger Soup, placed it on the cabinet by the bed, then exited the room, closing the door behind her.
Nathan Moore sat on the bedsheet, looking at Titus Zane who lay deeply asleep on the bed, and raised his hand, his large palm resting on her forehead, applying an ice pack and administering fever-reducing medicine. The fever had already subsided, but unconsciously
his hand moved towards the pink scar, gently caressing it, his handsome eyebrows also tightly furrowed.
