"Dad!!" She went inside the room ravishingly.
Mr.Wilson sleeping on the bed with a weak expression. There is an IV drip connected to his left hand.
Rebecca looked at her father's condition and tears rolled down on her cheeks the next moment.
She started taking feeble steps towards her father and after reaching him, she knelt beside his bed.
"Dad!!" Her tears started streaming down non-stop. She touched his father's hand which was resting on the bed.
"Rebecca !!" His father's weak voice fell on her ears.
She raised her eyes and looked at her father who had already woken up.
"Ohh, Dad!!" She kissed her father's hand.
"Do you know how scared I am to see you like this??" She mumbled between her tears.
"Dear, wh..where did you go?? You know I..I...tried to find you everywhere?? My mind is only filled with bad thoughts!!!" His watery eyes looked at her.
"Dad….I'm sorry..!" She muttered.
"I can't think of anything for the whole of these two nights. I was so terrified and worried when I didn't find you after coming back home from the party!!" His voice became unstable.
Rebecca silently shedding tears.
"I...I...thought! I'll never find you!! Your mother left me, I thought, you also!!" His voice was shaking and tears were dripping down from the corner.
He thought she left the home. He remembered her tears before he left the house for a party. He blamed himself thousands of times in absence of her.
He thought he made her leave the home. He should not go to the party after seeing her tears.
"No, dad! It's not like that!" Rebecca explained.
"But where did you go??"
"We were all so worried and Nick has been looking for you for 2 days!" Mr.Wilson weakly informed.
"Nick!" Hearing his name, her heart immediately filled with hatred.
"Dad! I want to say something!!" Her voice becomes low and serious.
"Yes, I'm listening!" He looked at her serious face and responded.
Rebecca knows this is not the right time but she can't handle it anymore. Nick already crossed his last line. If she didn't run away that night, God knows what would happen to her and if she wanted to live after that humiliation.
"Dad.That..night.." Her voice become low and filled with unbearable pain but before she could say any more words after that, Nick's voice came from behind.
"Sis, you come back!!" His voice was so gentle and humble and his eyes looked moist like he would cry anytime.
She didn't realize when he entered the room but his voice made her body shivered with fear. Her heartbeat becomes tense. She didn't turn back to look at him. She bit her lower lips with nervousness. She was completely horrified to realize his presence in the same room.
"Nick! Your sister has finally returned!" Mr. Wilson's voice was weak but happiness could be seen in his wrinkled face.
Sophia is still sitting in the same place with mixed feelings while her eyes lash trembling with unavoidable danger.
"Sophia, you know! Your small brother is finding you direct for two days without eating any meal!!" Mr.Wilson feels happy that at least Nick cared about Sophia and treated her well.
Sophia felt bitter in her heart to hear those words.
The man who made her run away, finding her without eating. It feels like a joke for her. It's a bitter joke which never makes her glad at all.
Her body still remembers his filthy words, his filthy touch, his creepy smile which still sounds raw in her ears. She can still remember her helpless self and his monstrous face. Her eyes turned red to think about that.
"Dad! Can we talk in private!" She needs to stand for herself thinking that she finally made up her mind to tell her dad all the truth.
"Sis, you can talk any other day! Dad's health is not so good!" His voice looks pleasant to her dad but for her, it's just like a small warning. His eyes look at her with sharp yet gentleness.
She can feel a chill in her back but she's not going to stop here. She clenched her fist.
"Dad! Please!" Her voice becomes weak. It's like she's holding too many things in her heart and now needs to pour it before she loses her courage.
"Yes, dear!! I'll listen to you!!" Mr.Wilson said in a feeble voice.
"But..!!" Nick wanted to argue his face started to turn ugly.
"Nick!!" His father made him stop.
Nick became silent and clenched his fist tightly before leaving the room and closing the door.
Sophia felt like she could now breathe.
"Dear, now tell your dad!" His voice is so heavy and unstable.
Sophia didn't realize her father's uncomfortableness.
Her mind is only filled with that night's horrible memory, she doesn't understand where to start. How she's going to tell her father that her own brother tried to force her.
She closed her eyes to speak out," Dad, I don't know if you can believe my words or not but trust me! I'm not lying!! That night when there is no one home, Nick tries to.."
Before she could say anymore, suddenly she felt something was wrong with one hand which was still holding her dad's hand. Her dad's hand trembled non-stop.
She instantly opened her eyes and became shocked to see that her father breathing again became unstable. His vision started to become blurred.
"Dad!!!" Her eyes filled with tears. She became panicked to see her father like this. The unwanted thoughts started to come into her mind.
"Dad!!" She tried to rub his hand but nothing worked.
Hearing her loud voice, her stepfamily comes into the room. Chole also started crying and went to the other side hurriedly.
Mrs.Wilson started to feel weak to see her husband like this.
Nick, also worried, immediately calls the doctor but the doctor told him that his father needs to go to the hospital now.
Without delay, they all went to the hospital with Mr.Wilson.
