Rebecca ran like crazy all the way, her breathing was heavy and she gasped for air. She wants to run as far as she can. She can't let herself be captured by this monster. Her heart is throbbing and trembling with fear of him. She still remembers the creepy and evil smile on his face when she was pinned by him on her bed. The tears streaming down from her cheeks realizing her helplessness. Her body shivered to think about those images. She came to a road but still, she could hear his voice. He's still running behind her.
Her bare feet cut through many sharp things but her mind told her to run no matter what. She can feel his feet start to feel numb and in pain but she can't stop!! Not now!!! Not here!! Not at all!!!
These three words counted her soul.
On the other hand, Nick also started to get tired of running behind her. But his evil heart did not want to let her go!!
Sophia is running on the empty road and Nick can see her running back and only try to make a distance short between them.
While running suddenly a stone comes in front of her feet, which hits her foot and she immediately falls to the ground with a banging sound.
"Ahh!" Her face frowned and she bit her lip to not shout loud with pain. Her feet hurt and the bloodstain started to show. But she ignored her feet and tried to stand up again. She tried to balance herself on both of her feet but the pain is unbearable.
"Rebecca!!" Nick shouted her name while running.
Hearing the sudden voice, her heart tense. She understood, he is not far from her and if she stopped here then that demon would catch her.
She tried to get up with all her strength and started running with injured feet.
Nick finally saw her again and made his speed fast.
"Rebecca!!"
Her running power had already diminished and at the same time when she looked back after hearing his voice, he was not far away from her.
Her tears started streaming.
"NO!! I need to run!!" She shouted in her head and again started running with all her strength but suddenly a sharp brake sound of a car came in front of her and headlights flashed on her eyes. She tried to block the lights coming on her face with her hands. But when the car got close, her face was frightened. She panicked and became stiff in her place.
The car driver also saw her with widened eyes and tried to stop the car. He stepped in the break hard but before the car stopped. It hit on her.
Rebecca fell to the ground unconsciously.
The driver's face panicked and the man who was sitting comfortably in the backseat his face became gloomy. The aura around him became darker. He also saw what just happened!! Some random woman just runs in front of his car.
Drivers' heart shudders and his forehead becomes sweaty.
He turned to look at the man whose face already showed displeasure on the back seat.
"Sir..I…" His voice was shaken.
"Go and check on her!" His voice is cold and sharp, just like a knife that can cut anything.
He saw it's not his driver's fault. The main culprit is the woman who was suddenly shown between the roads. His driver tried his best to break hard.
"Y...Yes Sir!!" He immediately gets out of the car and rushes to Rebecca.
He squatted down to scan on her. He checked her hand's pulse first which worked perfectly and then looking at her body there were some bruises but it was not serious. He saw her feet have many deep cuts and bruises and on her face, she got injured on the right side corner of her forehead. She's completely unconscious.
He is still worried to see her unconscious but also relieved that she didn't get a
serious injury.
He stood back on his feet and went to the back window of the car.
The man saw his driver. He asked with a deep complexion, "How is she?"
"Sir, she's alright. There is no serious injury except there are some bruises on her feet and a little injury on her forehead but she's unconscious!" He explained Rebecca's situation to the man who is silently listening to him.
There is a mixed expression on his face that could not be read by anyone.
While he is telling all these things, suddenly, another car appears and stops there.
The man in the suit immediately gets out of the car with a loud slam and goes towards them.
The driver saw who he was and moved back from the window. So, the two men can talk.
"Boss!! I'll handle everything!!" His voice is calm and composed.
Hearing this, the person sitting in the car nodded his head lightly.
A few minutes ago, when the driver had got down from the car to check on Rebecca, at the same time the man sitting behind him had called his P.A Sam who's car is just a few distant from him, and instructed him to take her to the hospital.
After attending the call he makes his drive speed higher and comes here in just a few minutes.
Sam's eyes moved to Rebecca who's lying on the road unconsciously.
"Help me to open the car's back seat door!" Sam instructed the driver and he immediately went to Sam's car and opened it.
Sam immediately squatted down and saw her bruises. Without delay any more time, he just took her on his lap. Rebecca's hair spread on her face when he stood up with her.
He turned back to go to his car.
The person who was still sitting quietly inside the car moved his gaze towards her face. But because her hair is spread on her face, he can't see her properly.
But the two things caught his eyes for a moment. First, her snow-white smooth skin which shines at night, and her feet's bruises-cuts.
Sam makes her safely lie down in the car and goes to look at his boss for the last time.
"Boss! I'm going now!" He bowed respectively.
The man nodded his head lightly.
Sam's car first drove out from there to the hospital, and then the man's car left the place.
The creepy stares who are looking at all the things from the far side clench his fist angrily and his eyes glaring at the car with anger.
When Rebecca was hit by the car, Nick saw it but feared that if he was gone now, the car people would doubt him which could be a serious problem for him. So, he made up his mind to silently look at their actions. He thought they would leave her but they took her which made him furious.
He only saw the driver and Sam's faces but he knows there is one more person who didn't come out at all.
He could not think anymore about her, first, he needs to go back home before his parents arrive and formalize everything in Rebecca's room.
He can still feel pain in his back and needs to go to see the doctor early in the morning.
