She asked, her fingers inching closer to his wounds, though they paused as Everlearn took a single step backward just before they reached him.
"My pinky is fine," he replied, and she watched his smallest finger wiggle. ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⁂𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖⁂𝕟𝕖𝕥
"I guess it’ll take some time to have the rest return to normal."
Rosa nodded, but then she remembered something
"You missed a class."
"I did!" Everlearn said in shock, and immediately his hands reached for his device, only for his eyes to widen in shock.
The Weapon Class started at 6:30AM, and now it was actually 5:32 PM!
He had been out for the entire day!
And his greatest fears came true:

Of course, they were being deducted points if they dared to miss a class.
And he had just lost 10 points. Now all he had left was 30.
His mood soured a bit from that, but thawed when he noticed Rosa looking at him.
"Yes, I did," he replied.
"It’s a Nakros Class, and I have the notes on my device. Actually, all who attended the class got the PDF file."
"The instructor just cleared up the first lesson, which is pretty understandable on its own."
"You want it?" she asked, bringing out her device.
He was a bit surprised, noticing her device wasn’t a fold like the rest of the students, but shrugged it off.
Maybe they had more types.
He was about to agree to getting the notes, but paused as his brows furrowed suspiciously instead.
"Why are you helping me out?" he asked.
He had tricked her last time to avoid talking to her, though a major reason for that had also been his general cautiousness and fear of having his new devices stolen.
But still, he did snub her, yet here she was trying to make sure he didn’t miss the class lesson when the more normal reaction would’ve been for her to snub him in return.
"I don’t know," Rosa said, watching as she coiled her pink hair between her fingers before she turned to Everlearn, whispering,
"Maybe because I’ve fallen for you..."
She expected him to appear flustered or take a step back in shock, but all she saw was him rolling his eyes.
"You’re supposed to look down while coiling your hair, then firm your face up, and have a blush on your cheeks before you shout, ’Maybe because I’ve fallen for you!’ with both of your eyes closed."
"That’s how it’s acted. Yours was a poor performance," Everlearn said, watching Rosa slap her face.
"Shoot. I practiced it all through the night yesterday."
She muttered, only to realize she had said it aloud.
"Wait, how did you know I wasn’t being real?" she asked, and Everlearn shrugged, moving to the railings.
"Maybe because I, myself, wouldn’t possibly fall for the only ordinary human, and naturally weakest guy in the school, just after having a less-than-ten-second encounter with him, which resulted in me getting tricked," he said.
"But, I guess it’ll be nice to have the notes."
"You use Xendee, right?" He asked, trying to find the send app on his device.
Rosa stared speechlessly at the side of his face, but then his neck rose, and she quickly turned to her device, nodding.
"I do," she said, also moving to the Xendee app and fishing out the notes.
Both devices established their connections, and Everlearn got the notification of the incoming files, which he accepted.
"Got it. Thank you," he said before turning to his dorm door, swiping the green card over.
It made a BEEP, and Rosa silently watched him disappear into it, the door shutting quietly.
When Everlearn stepped in, he dropped his device and the book he had been given on the living room table before heading for the shower.
But halfway, he ordered,
"Initiate System Protocol."

"While I did get my hands cut off and even missed a class and got deducted 10 points, I think it’s still a win," Everlearn mused under his breath, looking at the attribute points, and didn’t waste any time inputting his stats.
"Add 20 points to Strength, 25 points to Intelligence, 10 points to Agility, 20 points to Endurance, and the rest to Charisma," he ordered.
In the next moment, his eyes glowed with blue light as his neck jerked up, blue veins trailing out from beneath his skin.
It was like a volcano had been lit up in his chest, the hot lava rapidly being passed across his bloodstream.
It released a warmth both intense and soothing, which lingered for nearly a minute, keeping him rigid until a sudden chill replaced it.

Everlearn’s right hand immediately moved to his left shoulder, and he peeled off the bandages.
There was no cut mark at all, nor was there even a scar to confirm the injury.
It had been healed perfectly, and Everlearn rolled his hand around, satisfied to feel the pain had also faded
This was one of the greatest advantages of leveling up: it instantly regenerated any injury he might suffer.
With that done, he stepped into the bathroom, switching on the shower, and the sound of splashing filled the room.
